The fucking guy is having to trot out freshmen with zero experience that 80 percent of the stadium had never heard of before in the secondary. That combined with Jake Smith and Jones fucking up punts and it's amazing they only scored 30. I'd put a lot of blame on Herman for going full on turtle mode with 9 minutes left in the game up 13. You have a Heisman candidate 3rd year starter QB and your defense is decimated with injuries. Go out and win the fucking game.30 points

*Freshman starts* This is what this program has come to, having to use freshman to fill voids in talent. *Freshman doesn’t starts* Well, I wish him the best of luck wherever his no talent-having ass ends up. It’s just unfortunate for him that he had a senior ahead of him on the depth chart, probably should have stayed another year in high school.28 points

The people on the SEC board seem to have an inside scoop that it is a suicide. I always get such a cold, empty feeling when I read about a young person taking their own life. Every large and small kindness we can share with someone just might make the difference in helping them get through that day. I wish I always remembered that.16 points

I have undergone an emergency craniectomy due to subdural bleeding. They removed a piece of my skull, cleaned and repaired the affected area, returned the skull piece to its place, leaving two small holes for temporary drainage tubes. I would think my repaired skull could be easily damaged playing football. I have no permanent neurological damage, however, other than spending time on surly and thinking you guys are funny. Is that wrong?14 points

credit to natewho who posted this in the game thread. +++ Dr. Teeth 5:53p AG Honestly, I don't care. I've been following this program for forty plus years. We've tried everything. Money whipped coaches from the nations top programs and paid them the highest salaries in football and upped them after mediocre seasons.. Built a billion dollar stadium. Changed conferences twice. We've never won a GD thing and we aren't ever going to. We're losers. Time to own it.12 points

There are 3 very good teams at the top of the conference: Alabama, LSU and Georgia. There is one good team below that group – Auburn. The jury is still very much out on Florida. Sure they are highly ranked and undefeated but they’ve played no one of consequence. Their best win was over Miami. Based on the ‘canes other games, Gata is a lot better than Bethune-Cookman and comparable to UNC (in football anyway). The situation with aggy has some parallels to Florida. Loss to Clemson says they’re nowhere near the top tier. Wins over Texas State and Lamar indicate they are well above rock bottom. Unlike UF, aggy has played a good team (Auburn) and lost in rather humiliating fashion. They shouldn’t be ranked and probably won’t be once the polls are in for this week. Historically aggy is the definition of mediocre and there is reason to believe this year will be more of the same. What sits (mostly) below aggy is just dog crap. 4 of those teams have shown themselves to be on the level of FCS / G5 by losing to teams of that description. And only Mizzou @ Wyoming could be classified as a true road game. Tennessee losing to Georgia State and Arkansas to San Jose State, the worst team in the Mountain West are both going to leave a mark. After those dregs, there are 3 other SEC teams that already have losses to lower-tier teams from other P5 conferences. Not only did Vandy lose to Purdue, they handed the Boilermakers their only win this season. South Carolina of course suffered defeat at the hands of Mack Brown and the Orange Slice Boogaloo. That is looking even less impressive now since the ‘cocks couldn’t match the obvious institutional advantages of Wake and Appalachian State. Those who watched KSU beat Mississippi State saw the Wildcats seriously outplay their opponent but kept them in the game with butterfingers. While Ole Miss was already part of the non-P5 loss crowd, we need to add the Cal loss to the ledger. While Kentucky hasn’t added to the list of embarrassing non-conference losses yet, don’t give up on them. They close their season with Louisville so they still have a shot to contribute. At least half the teams in the SEC would be near the bottom of any P5 conference and have proven it on the field. 4 of those 7 teams have gone down to G5-FCS level opponents – multiple times in the case of Tennessee. Kentucky also looks really bad but their schedule was weak enough that they were able to pull out wins over Eastern Michigan and Toledo. They SEC is not a strong conference. They have a few strong teams sitting on top of a huge, steaming pile of manure that composes the majority of the conference. No one with a brain will argue against the strength of the top 3 in conference this year. But the image of the conference being strong is highly misleading and mostly false. Even a mediocre aggy team is virtually guaranteed a bowl every year with 3 pathetic non-conference scrubs, Arkansas, Ole Miss, South Carolina and MSU on the schedule every year. The top of the SEC is formidable but to make the case for the conference as a whole, ESPN and others have to hide a whole bunch of weak to horribad teams. From the front it looks really scary. The rest of it, not so much.10 points

Y’all are fucking idiots. Without the two muffed points, the D might not have even given up 20 points and we held an explosive OSU offense to 5.5 YPP while forcing 2 turnovers and being given some bad short fields from the offense and special teams. Orlando called a good game. He kept safeties over the top often and didn’t lose his mind with blitzes like LSU, while still having numbers for the run game. They were stout in the traditional run game (Hubbard had 3.3 ypc) and didn’t let Wallace beat them. You can’t take everything away against a team like this, and tonight that was Sanders’ running ability. This was a good game from Orlando, considering our personnel limitations and injuries.10 points

They are going to flip Dixon. I doubt LVBS ever visits again. Anyone saying that Texas won’t take Dixon is full of shit and to be disregarded. I went through all of the WR related stuff a few pages back if someone wants to link or you want to find them. It’s highly doubtful that they take two more WRs and it is looking like the one open slot is about to be taken.8 points

Bump. Love seeing things turn out for the best for all involved. Sam is clearly the right guy for Herman's offense and Shane was never going to get meaningful starter snaps other than injury backup. It was right for him to leave and right for him to handle it like he did. I can't imagine a single Texas fan not rooting for the guy given how he carried himself here. Great seeing him lead smu over tcu, given the pride on the line between those two programs. He threw for nearly 300 yards against a Patterson defense and he's definitely in the right offense for his skill set now. They're 4-0 with usf up next. Seems like they'll have a solid season no matter what and love seeing Shane finally thriving as a starter.8 points

Howdy Ags: I just wanted to stop by and congratulate you on a hard-fought game. As a lifelong WAR DAMM EAGLE I feel very fortunate to leave Kyle Field with a "W". A&M showed a lot of fight, and the future is very bright for you as the premier in-state SEC West program in the Great State of Texas. I know that Jimbo will just get your guys better and better, and I'm sure you'll be in the playoff, if not next year, then the year after. Even if my team hadn't prevailed, it still would have been a wonderful experience travelling to College Station. I swear, I'll bet I heard "Howdy" 25,000 times. I was a little apprehensive coming to Texas, as my cousin Cleetus once went to a game at Austin, and told me that at least 75,000 of the fans at their stadium were classless. He is a military veteran and a proud American, and was wearing an American Flag pin. He was spat upon by transsexuals dozens of times, and had numerous beers thrown at his pregnant wife, not to mention the coupons that she was handed for local abortion clinics. But that's not the reception that we got at your magnificent stadium. At one point, I had lost my direction, and an old maroon-wearing lady in a wheelchair rolled up to say "howdy" and to ask if I needed help finding my seat. After helping me find my section, she gave me her address and told me that she would bake me a pecan pie after the game and told me to pick it up on my way home tomorrow. And heck, I hoped to win the game, but I never expected to win halftime, and we sure didn't. The Fightin' Texas Aggie Band was all we could have imagined. What a performance! I can see how y'all are so proud of them, particularly as the entire band is made up of future Generals and Admirals that will keep our nation safe. Anyway, that's all for now. Thanks for an amazing day in beautiful College Station, and I hope that our fans are 1% as welcoming and classy as the Aggies are when you come down to our place.8 points

If we dont win the Big XII this year it will be the first DECADE ever Texas will have not one its conference and tieing the longest streak ever. Longest was 1930 to 1942. 2nd longest was 1995 to 2006. Half of this decade is directly on Mack and part of the other half is indirectly his fault. But you guys go back to beating off to your copy of Tiger Beat with Mack on the cover and bask on the 2 CCs and 1 MNC he brought in 16 years while mostly being OUs bitch for the other years.7 points

Hubbard was averaging 6.92 YPC coming in. He ran for 3.27 YPC with a long of 13 yds vs Texas. He also was TFLed 6 times for 17 yards in losses and 4 times for no gain. Sanders' passer rating was 181.79 with 7 TD, 1 INT through 3 games: 117.23 vs Texas with 0 TD and 2 INT. Wallace averaged 26.0 yds per catch coming in. He had 16.6 YPC vs Texas. Prior 3 OSU opponents inflicted a total of 2 sacks, 13 TFLs and 7 PBUs. The Texas defense virtually equaled that in one game: 2 sacks, 12 TFLs, 6 PBUs.7 points

The beautiful thing is that a bunch/most of those TexAgs posters are verified aggy alumni, and are fucking giving money to Loochi and Co. Think about that - they went through their alumni verification process, even gave Luigi money, and they sit back as he censors them. They are paying to be censored. That is peak aggy. They are fucking sheep, and I don’t just mean in a sexual way All because Luigi is too fucking thin-skinned to have anybody criticize his precious aggy. Meanwhile, we’ve used previous versions of this forum to organize airplane banners to get coaches fired.6 points
