  • This postseason has become more sentimental for me and my wife's family.  My father in law is the biggest Astros fan I know.  He watches every game without fail, even DVRing them if he can't watch liv

Would have been a perfect time to pinch hit Diaz for Vazquez and give him a couple of innings behind the plate. Vazquez has caught 19 innings in less than 24 hours and it’s hot as balls.

They pulled Altuve when he had a chance at the cycle.  I guess Dusty doesn’t want him to get injured tripping on 2nd while trying to stretch a double into a triple.

I hate when Dusty fucking pulls Altuve before his final at bat.  3000, for fucks sake.

Meatball

I’d trade both of these Hensley hits today for one in extras yesterday… really anything besides the K and GIDP he actually produced

Altuve needs about seven more seasons at his current level of production to make 3000.  Late game substitutions won’t keep him from getting there.

I wanted Jose to bat again and crank a homer...then stop at third base and refuse to score on the play. Either a unique way to get a cycle or history's ultimate TOOTBLAN.

4-1 road trip. Our wounded can heal up 100%, no need to rush anyone back.

Some nice booing answered with a Tuve bomb.  Now a triple short of the cycle, which is the same as being one girl short of a threesome.

Beats being two girls short

our aaa team always looks like they’re playing against little leaguers with their dominance.

Can Hensley play any OF ?

can he make a push for Dorbon’s playoff roster spot ?

He’s only played 7 games at LF in the minors but played a lot of outfield in college, summer and winter league.

He hasn't that I know of.  That's why we needed to sign Conforto

Unless his throwing arm is literally detached from his body, I'd say he's worth giving a shot out there. We're obviously to the point a little experimentation won't risk our season, and he might just stick.

I hope he can make a push for spot on the playoff roster. It’ll be good competition

Seems to me a 6’6-6’7 guy who can move and throw well enough to play shortstop could play a little left field. You sure wouldn’t put any of our left fielders at short stop.

Left field at MMP is practically first base in the sense that anyone that’s a decent athlete should be able to get by occasionally for a game or two.

The hardest part is figuring out how to play balls off the scoreboard and that's not very difficult.

Dusty starting the A team behind Brown

Left field isn’t the problem. Centerfield is our problem

Yeah, you just need to be in when Maton or Smith is pitching.

picking up the ball off the bat and then instinctively knowing where to go is a little important too

Its only going to get worse....Lady Gaga here Sept 13 and Billy Joel on Sept 23rd

The field always looks pretty rough by the end of the season.  There are fairly large bare spots in the outfield.

Not anywhere close to this extent. Normally it is just where the fielders stand.

I'm sure it's much worse from the concert, but in June we sat in the right field corner and I was kind of shocked how bad the grass looked.

Urquidy, Garcia, Framber and Javier all went out to the bullpen to watch Brown go through pregame and warmup

Stranglehold....strong

Always thought that would be a good walk up song.

best clubhouse in MLB

that ball has some pop !!

HoF or bust !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Currently on pace for 27 Ks per 9 which I think would be a record.

He's throwing a little harder than when we saw him in Round Rock.  I imagine he's a little amped.

1, 2, 3 inning !!!

on pace for 0.00 era and 0.00 whip, bring it !

Well that was a pretty good first inning.  104 mph and 397 feet on that flyout but his placement was good
