By anyone with eyes, we fucking dominated the run game making none of that relevant

Not a sustainable game plan with our backs. You can’t run Wisner 25 plus times a game. Blue & Gibson are averaging a fumble a game. We need at least average QB play to keep this offense rolling.

Good things there are 3 running backs and 4 games left

Both of our backs are getting better running inside and are both much bigger than the Tennessee RB.  I swear some of y'all wanted to lose today…

Guess what.  The SEC has NFL Dlines on every fucking team.  The difference today is we are 2 deep on the OL and DL and Kentucky is not.

I rarely post, but most on this thread are insufferable idiots. We won the fucking game. Did we play perfect? Hell, no, but name me a team that played perfect this week or any other week. Take the win and end the Stockholm Syndrome from the last decade. It makes us look like a bunch of whiny bitches. For fucks sake.

With our D and running game (when on) we need an experienced game manager that doesn't turn the ball over, and has the moxie and arm talent for tough throws in hostile environments. Let me check the roster.

OL play in this game was the biggest surprise. They dominated from start to finish. If they play like that the rest of the season, there won’t be much of reason to debate QB play

It was a fumble. He had the ball knocked out of his hands by a rusher. He was trying to gather it and pushed it forward.

I'll rewatch, but by recollection I disagree.  He had possession and tried to shovel it forward.

If sark ended the game with a hobbled Quinn then buckle up he’s starting next week. I mean I don’t understand why you wouldn’t start arch when Quinn isn’t even close to 100%.

Potentially Quinn's last game in the stadium, senior night.... the defense was playing great and we could win with him being 100%. Even hobbled, my guess is they didn't want to take that away from Quinn. Speculation of course.

Unfortunate. He showed improvement in multiple areas early in the game. Even put some more zip on a long ball that was actually catchable if it weren’t for dpi. But then of course gets hurt again. Everything that happened after that I put the blame on Sark, not Quinn.

Wasn’t catchable

Probably that’s what I was thinking as well as some of the possible reasons.

He couldn't fucking walk. Of course he was hurt. Jesus Christ.

He threw for 14 yards in the second half, when the game was still in doubt until a few minutes left. If he was legit hurt like that then he shouldn't have been playing.

No shit. He shouldn't have been playing. No idea what Sark was thinking.

I swear. People complain that we don't run the ball enough. We do, and people complain that we don't pass. The game was in hand. It has yet to be established that QE is, in fact injured. WE won the game. We ran the ball down KU's throats. We typically do that when the game is in hand. Why are your bitching about QE in the 2nd half? I swear, people just have to bitch. Not you specifically, but just in general.

I don't know what to tell you. Welcome to college football and the internet? Quinn clearly wasn't right and he was still playing, and people find that strange.

In what fucking world does average mean top 5?

You said only 3 or 4 teams wouldn't trade what we have right now......

And you live on Stassney.  You don't have the right to call anyone a dumb ass

I live wherever the fuck I feel like. Currently Chicago, before that San Diego and Scottsdale. South Central Austin is where my house is, and it’s better than wherever the hell you are in OC.

Quinn Ewers is not an average QB and I don’t need to derail  a topic like where my location is for it to just mean more.

There's a Chili's on Stassney.  You watch the game there?  Get you some margaritas and fajitas?

I literally just said I am currently in Chicago. Why this board drinks til they can’t see straight, and then can’t recall a single important detail from a game is beyond stupid. And I’d rather check out the Mexican chicks with tats at Twin Peaks

Is Quinn everything that we expected? No. How often is anything everything we expected? Never. He is a serviceable, above average QB. He has lapses, but he's still, contrary to belief, better than most options out there in college football. We continue to win, but people still bitch about QE. Again, is he the "dream QB?" No. But, he is the best chance we have at winning it all. Does it mean we will win it all? Absolutely not. People seem to forget the years of UT Football being bitches. We aren't bitches any more. Will Arch be better right now? Maybe, but not likely. And that is measured by, not only our own head coach's evaluation, but by decades of football analysis.  This season is out of our hands. We can wring them all we want, but the fact still remains that everything we ever wanted from our program is right in front of us. We just have to take it, regardless of all of the chicken-shit bullshit I've seen on this board. And, no, I'm not a sunshine pusher. I'm just a fan, while critical of several game-time decisions, that tries to be optimistic about the trajectory of this program.

Yeah but what was the final score? Did we lose because of Ewers?
The game was close in the 2nd half because how inept Ewers was. We put the game away by literally taking the ball out of his hand to make any more shitty decisions.

Did any of yall watch football today. If you did ewers played damn well today compared to rest of ncaa. Just a weird 3rd q for the whole team. Thank god this defense is legit. Worried for about 5 minutes till I saw defense come on field ready to kill.

They were dominant all day except a few breakdowns in the secondary. Only gave up one score and that was on 4th down.

Ewers can take us all the way as a game manager with that unit on the other side. Though I do worry about our special teams.

I think a healthy QE should start next week but dang I thought arch shoulda come in when QE was gimpy.  Nice impose your will on the other guy SEC style 15 straight run plays to burn 7+ mins and score to put it away. That was beautiful. 2 week in a row the OL took over.

nice wow wow wee wow GIF
