Was Israel regularly doing these alleged things before Oct 7th?

“Alleged” things?  I just posted multiple videos showing IDF shooting first responders from ambulances like fish in a barrel.  Interviews with doctors talking about the blatant targeting of predominately women and children.  Not people shot in cross fire.  4-5 year old kids with sniper bullets both in the head and heart.  IDF soldiers doing interviews stating they are being told to shoot at civilians and to occupy these people’s homes.  A video of the former Israeli prime minister condemning these actions.   These are not alleged things.  The UN just stated for Palestinian’s to stop going to food aid sites because they have become slaughterhouses.  Their words… not mine.  And yes, Israel has been suppressing Palestinians for decades, whether it’s settlers pushing people out of their homes, building a wall around them and caging them, pouring cement in their water system, cutting off all internet access, cutting off food from getting into Gaza for years, taking away their rights, arresting them and putting them in military prison for crossing a line on a street.  Yes this has all been happening before October 7th. This is a conflict that goes both ways much longer than October 7th.  Unfortunately you don’t get to hear or see the other side because it is censored.  Why is it censored, because AIPAC spends millions and millions of dollars on the politicians we elect to keep American tax payer dollars flowing to Israeli citizens.  Our money to fund bombs for a conflict that has nothing to do with us.

I’m not ok with it, that’s not the point here. There’s a reason Hamas hides children in weapon stockpiles. Civilian deaths are a masturbatory release for them. There’s certainly evil involved here, you’re just looking in the wrong direction. The group that hates Palestinians the most is their own leadership.

Please show proof of this.  I’m sure all those buildings and homes of civilians were weapon stockpiles for Hamas here.

Also, Israel has one of their military bases under a hospital.  How do you feel about that?  By your logic, it would be totally fine and appropriate for Iran to bomb this hospital killing civilian Israeli’s when they retaliated to the Israel strikes?  Because this actually happened.   Israel would never use their own civilians as a shield now would they?

Guys, just don't look at:

  • The thousands and thousands of Palestinians that were killed and/or had their homes stolen from them prior to Oct. 7
  • All the times Israel have used Palestinians as human shields (or their own hostages)
  • The time they rioted because a group of soldiers were going to be prosecuted for raping a Palestinian prisoner to death (one of those guys is a celebrity in Israel now)
  • All the times IDF snipers have deliberately targeted children and posted videos laughing about it on social media
  • The fact that they are using a shady aid organization to lure Gazans in to killboxes with the promise of food and medicine
  • The fact that they are deliberately starving a captive population to death
  • The numerous times high ranking members of Netanyahu's government have openly talked about exterminating them all
  • The settler terrorism occurring in the West Bank that is fully supported, armed, and protected by the IDF
  • The hundreds and hundreds of aid workers and journalists that have been deliberately killed by the IDF

All the evil is on THAT side.

I can appreciate you saying that honestly.  While I can see why you would support and justify retaliation after October 7th, I’m curious to know if you feel that the current target of civilians, siege, starvation, and missiles into Gaza are justified?  Keep in mind, October 7th was over 20 months ago.  Do you think what is happening in Gaza right now is an appropriate response to the terrorist attack by Hamas?  What number of dead civilians, mainly women and children, would encourage you to hold Israel accountable?  I believe there were 900-1500 hostages during October 7th event.  So far 50,000 dead Palestinian civilians since October 7th.  How many more before you’d feel that Israel has gone too far? 60,000? 70,000? 100,000?  What number would be too far you to say, I think this is wrong?  And if you feel that it’s wrong, would you request your state senator and representative to stop approving bills that send US tax payer dollars that are directly helping fund this?

I think it’s all wrong and hate it. The only difference is that I lay it at the feet of Hamas. They could decide to end it today. The unfortunate truth is that they get off to their civilians deaths, like all death cults.

We paid for the Iron Dome and most of their innovative defense technology. Tactics evolve and our funding helps them stay ahead of the terrorists in future attacks. Stopping funding is not an option.

straw man, moving the goalposts, tu quoque etc.  You are a fucking liar, and you deal only in logical fallacies.  The EXACT conversation is about the IDF targeting civilians at food distribution centers.  Not one fucking word about "weapon stockpiles" or any of that bullshit.

You tirelessly look for justification for war crimes, when a human being of ANY moral character sees and condemns the war crime.

And no, I'd say the group that hates Palestinians the most is the group that has openly stated that they intend to purge all of Gaza of them, completely and totally (the openly stated goal of the Israeli regime and its internal partners).  It's a stiff competition, as the gulf states and Palestinian leadership aren't helpful and are actually harmful, but that has nothing to do with the fact that the IDF is purposefully murdering civilians at food distribution points.

THOSE civilian deaths aren't a "masturbatory release" -- they are instead the result of deliberate policy of extermination and ethnic cleansing.  That - as we decided in the wake of such actions with respect to jews 80+ years ago, is bad.

They can fund the Iron Dome themselves. Israel is not a poor country. What they can't fund is the Iron Dome, their ethnic cleaning campaigns in Gaza and the West Bank, and the endless war fronts outside Israel they would like to maintain.

You're really bad at fed posting if that's what you're doing.

So, let me read that the way that a war crimes tribunal should read it:

"So, your defense against the charge that you committed war crimes against civilian residents of Belligerent X is 'well, I wouldn't have war crimed all of those civilians if Belligerent X woulda just surrendered.'"

Yeah, not only is that not a defense, it is actually an admission that you are 1) using war crimes and the threat of continuing to commit war crimes to 2) coerce Belligerent X into acceding to your demands.

This is impressive.  You've actually managed to make yourself out to be MORE of a piece of shit scumbag who supports war crimes.  You are as awful a human being as can be imagined.  Hell is too good for people like you.

Why is it that American tax payer dollars should fund Israel?  Do we fund Britain? Do we fund France?  Do we fund any other country that has regional conflicts?  Why is Israel’s issues in the Middle East our problem to fund?  Perhaps if we stop funding them, then they would stop murdering civilians, feel empowered steal land, bomb Lebanon, bomb Syria, bomb Iran, bomb Palestine.  Perhaps then they could use diplomacy.  And if that doesn’t work, they can figure out themselves how to defend themselves just like every other country.  Why are our tax payer dollars being used here?  Not our responsibility.

Yeah….. I’d call the IDF soldiers posting videos on TikTok celebrating shooting by kids terrorism.  Actually, it’s worse.  It’s another level of sick on par with the Nazi’s and their horrible atrocities.  Using aid as bait to shoot starving people is plain evil.  That isn’t war and that isn’t defending yourself.

There's unfortunately plenty of evidence of the IDF targeting civilians, including women and children. There's plenty of evidence of IDF targeting journalists and aid workers. There's plenty of evidence that Netanyahu purposefully helped Hamas take and keep power in Gaza to prevent a unified government in Gaza and the West Bank. Hamas sucks, but so does Israel when they indiscriminately, and even purposefully, kill innocent civilians.

100% agree.  It’s not like you have to pick one extreme side.  There is a very reasonable option where Israel can go into Gaza and attack sites where Hamas is hiding.  Hell they can even send some of those precise missiles they used to target Iran leaders thousands of miles away.  Their intelligence is so spot on, they killed leaders in Iran that were hiding without much of any civilian casualties.  But they can’t seem to find Hamas right next to them and have to flatten an entire population? I’m sure the Palestinian people would like nothing more to get rid of the terrorist organization that has cost them their lives and homes.   The Palestinian Authority opposed the Qatar funding of Hamas that Netanyahu so very much encouraged and allowed.

Stopping this war would require Netanyahu to actually want to get rid of Hamas.  If Hamas were to be defeated, then who else could he fund to create conflict to give him an excuse to perform the ethnic cleansing the extreme orthodox Zionist party has been talking and parroting long before October 7th.
