LIV golfers sold out their career for a big paycheck. dechambro is the only that's been able to compete at a pga level.
the best part of liv was them shit canning that piece of shit norman. the rest of is unwatchable

I’ve never even imagined having a penis (mine or any other) in my mouth, but I would have probably blown a hobo for a $150m check. Hell, I would have hung a plaque commemorating the event for family lore in the foyer in my new house in Jupiter.

If you’re a middling 4 win with maybe a lucky major career 400 tournament/300 cut made $32m grinder (no pun intended) you absolutely take that NIV money. Like that skinny Australian kid whose name I can’t remember (Cam something?) who cashed his check the week after winning The Open, IIRC.

I think he's got a Lance Armstrong thing happening. I'm crazy though. I think Rory folds, I just hope it's not Greg Norman II.

I'm rooting for the course like I usually do. I want these whiny bastards dropping more fucks on the hot mic. Go stimp go. May the winds be contrary, the pine straw deep, and the azaleas grabby.

Just please don't let it be fucking Conners or Aberg. That's not nearly as fun.

i'd have no problem with Aberg winning.  that guy is the truth.  he's been touted as the next great one.  if he won a green jacket in his second attempt, that would solidify his place in the elite category.  he's already world #5.  but a major so early in his career would go a long ways.

having said all that, i'm pulling for Rory.

Cam Smith. Who was tracking to be a better player than the one you describe but hasn't done anything now since the Masters last year.

I don't have anything against those guys just saying that in this context it would be a little underwhelming.

Certainly feels like a two horse race. I guess I could see Aberg or (maybe) Lowry making a charge.

Cant believe I’m rooting for a Rory L against Bryson, but the whole Rory vs. Augusta narrative is so damn compelling.

My point exactly.

This morning sitting in church at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian I had Paramount coverage playing through my Bluetooth hearing aids while pretending to pay attention to Palm Sunday services.

My grandmother spun in her grave.

3, maybe 5.  Rory can blow up as we all know, and Bryson has some wtf doubles and often 2 of them in a crucial round (though most of that was done in his offensive lineman days). Conners is right there.

With 2 top golfers with 4-6 stroke lead, and another 2 shot deficit with Conners, it’s tough to see Aberg or Reed make up that gap. Reed always plays this course well, though, so it’s worth keeping an eye on. Scottie too far back and not playing well enough right now to seriously contend. I hope I’m wrong on that, and it’s Bryson batting the afternoon by himself with Scottie in the clubhouse -12.

St. Andrews?  It’s a signGos wants you paying attention to the golf

You’re my kind of Presby. Focused on the important things.

Did you at least wave the palm frond at the right time?

Aberg birdies the first!

he could definitely be a fly in the ointment.  he's a guy who could shoot 65, post -13, and see how Rory and Bryson hold up.

Bryson could pull a Phil from Kiawah and put the absolute brakes on all afternoon. Rory likes to play fast.

A cold sore on the lip, in other words. A rash in the nether regions.

Probably?  I’d do a whole lot worse than blow a Hobo for that kind of scratch.
