His last few outings have been good. Tonight, not so much

I mean yea he gave up 4 runs but when we score 1-2 we aren’t winning no matter who we are pitching. Apparently we just blow ass against bottom feeder teams.

Yuli is available.

Another old washed first baseman, that's the ticket!

What's Chris Davis up to?  Or Brett Wallace?  Great White?

Has LMJ ever been in fear of losing his spot?

Maybe he needs to feel a little bit of that pressure to help motivate him.

He just got back from being out for roughly 2 years from injury, is on the last year of his contract, and he needs something to help motivate him?

Who exactly do you have in mind that is on the Astros roster or in their system that could provide this extra incentive?

I think LMJ would be a bullpen and emergency starter guy if there weren't so many SP injuries. Anything they can get out of him is a win at this point. He's untradable with that contract. Hopefully he can make it through this season, and give some quality starts here and there.

Ullola could be a candidate, or Blubaugh (but his AAA splits are horrible right now).

You wish this was the last year of the contract. One more year on the gift that keeps giving.

I actually am not too bad with that, he has been out so long, and really didn't go through a long ramp up time to get ready to pitch.

Not expecting 2017 Lance, heck, not even hoping for it, but am interested to see if his control improves .

Maybe, but if I am bringing one of those guys up then I am pulling Gusto from the rotation before Lance.

Melton having some growing pains, which is understandable. I hope they give him a true shot and keep putting him in the lineup. I think our OF today is the best 3 to put out there, or at least will be if Smith and Melton can keep progressing.
