Is that a real injury, or a "rest an overworked reliever" injury?

Probably the latter but I'd sure as hell rather have Sousa give me an inning tonight than Kimbrel

So what’s the plan when Yordan comes back? Tuve back to left, or chance him more than we have at 2B? From an offensive standpoint, 2B seems far superior.

This is assuming Yordan is basically relegated to DH to protect him, of course. Maybe that’s not the case.

It’s a hand issue. Shouldn’t stop him from playing in the field if necessary.

Lance had some nice action on his pitches to the last 2 batters.

Yes but he’s reliant on hitters chasing to get outs. I don’t think he can throw 3 strikes to a hitter and at some point, they will stop swinging at those breaking balls.

Yeah most good pitchers just groove them right down the middle.

That’s not what I’m saying. He can’t even throw a strike when Holliday is taking at 3-0.

yordan wins the title with the hooks, then gets called up

Cam is obviously talented and I think has a bright future, but he will benefit from the offseason and come back strong next year. He got lucky on his first AB with a seeing eye hit, but he's really struggling.

He needs to be sent down. Has needed to happen for a month. He’s wanted the demotion by being terrible for 2 months now, but when you consider the huge savings of getting an extra year it’s borderline malpractice to not make that move.

I'm actually OK with him staying up. I think struggling against big league pitchers will benefit him, long term.
