I said before Framber's last bad outing that I wouldn't start him again. Who knows what would have happened with another guy in his place, but that's a chance I'd have eagerly taken. I'd now be happy to try giving Blubaugh an emergency start this week, even if we approach it as more or less a bullpen game. That's what most of them now have become anyway.

6 games to make the playoffs. Very achievable goal.

We’re mortally wounded and have half our roster on the IL.

Maybe as one last troll to Seattle is we can knock them out of the playoffs after they get a 2 seed and have their second best season on their history.

Lot has to happen … but Lets go our fucking swinging boys!

Walker sucks in the 4 hole. For whatever reason. Everyone knows it but Espada. He’s batting .193 in the 4th spot and .277 in the 5th spot in the order with enough at bats in both to make it as much a factor as left/right batting. We don’t have a cleanup hitter I know but it definitively isn’t Walker. The days of data driven Astros are long gone.

Obviously try to win and hope Detroit just keeps losing.

That's what I'm thinking.

Detroit is 2 games up on us (1 actual and tie break). We want Cleveland to get swept by them Bro.

2nd best option probably Det 2/3.
3rd best option Cleveland sweep.

Espadas only data sheet is the one he writes everyone's name on to draw out of a hat for the lineup

I wanted Jose Abreu to work out, too. But when a power guy isn't hitting, and hasn't for weeks on end, a manager can't keep pretending he is. I feel that way about Altuve, too. Stubbornly keeping those guys in the 3-4 slots might well cost us the postseason.

walker's jersey will be on close out next opening day

Do we eat another 20+ mill agsin? I mean at least this time we have someone to backfill with Parades but damn.

$150 mil ish for 5 years of shitty first base hitting is wild.

At least Walker can field the position and isn’t a complete bum at the plate. But is all or nothing shit is tiresome.

So, tonight went as bad as it could go.
we wanted Detroit, Toronto and the Yankees to win (and I suppose in hope against hope Colorado)

all 3 of those teams lost.
this is almost a must win game tonight.

Kurtz is already going upriver on our asses

This season is toast fellas

After watching the Friday game against the M's and catching parts of the rest of the series, I can't stand to watch this version of this team any longer.
