I think he'll be fine eventually, if he can stay off the IL for more than a month at a time.  He threw a couple of good games before this foot thing

LMJ clearly strugling, and Espada leaves him in after HR, HR, BB, 1B, 1B, to face Tucker, allowing a 3-run HR and a follow-up 3B.

That's just straight up forfeiting a winnable game where we're hitting the other starter well.

It’s so dumb. After the tucker homer you leave him out there for one more guy? Instead of letting him eat innings?

Sad John Cena GIF

I am noticing a trend in your posts and being you are a Spurs fan it is possible you are a Dodger supporter based upon their long term affiliation with the Missions.

That our you are just a piece of crap.

Ford said the Phillies series was our first 3 game series allowing 1 run or fewer since the opener of 1979.

The Forsch game was a no hitter

June of 1992 was the only other time we swept a series scoring 5 runs.

eric Anthony drove in a run.

incaviglia had a HR.

sounds like a game I was at.

Circling back on this.

Damn! I was actually close. The worthless shit that sticks in a 10 year old’s brain until he’s well in to his 40s.

The June ‘92 game referenced above with the Inky HR was June 21 against the dodgers (part of a 3 game set we swept by a combined score of 5-1)

The game I was at was a week earlier, when Inky had two HRs (and 7 RBIs)…(back when this game was a proper sport and you used an actual pitcher (if you can call Rob Mallicoat (?) that) to close out a game you’re up 15-3 going to the 9th instead of a position player.)

Making the most of being the program cover boy for June of ‘92

Speaking of “back when this game was a proper sport”, I don’t know what’s more impressive: the entire can of skoal tucked under his lip, or busting it from 2nd to 3rd with the can in your back pocket
