The roster is dog shit. There isn’t a DC in the history of football that can get these XFL rejects making plays. But I don’t care if they fire him or not.

That’s fair but the design and play calling is making it much worse.  Zone and playing 10+ yard off the WR.

Psychologically, the stage is set for a potential huge upset over the Pack. But I'm not delusional.

Yep. I knew it would not be allowed. Fucking bullshit format, just like college OT. Second team in TO gets massive advantage.

The Packers final throw into the endzone hit our defender in the ass. Had the stupid bastard turned around he coulda caught it.

And Dak's last pass... He had room to scramble and find a receiver. He threw it away. Was he afraid he was going to take a five yard sack at the ten yard line with a kicker who kicks sixty yard FGs. He doesn't think. It's what the does (or doesn't do)

I guess.

when they deferred, I immediately thought “that sounds good unless the first team has a 7-8 minute drive that ends in a TD.

cowboys drive was only 5:20, but gotta think Green Bay plays that last set of downs differently if the clock wasn’t a factor (which it wouldn’t have been had they taken the ball first)

How many years have you thought Quandre Diggs got 4” shinplants?

I don't watch nfl other than when Bijan plays or I have nothing else to do. Didn't realize there was more than one Diggs in the NFL playing DB.

Cowboys not being totally ass and GB after being blown to kingdom come looking mortal again.

CFB and NFL will eventually be nearly identical products, but one has bands.

CFB has way more free agency. At least NFL has 5 year contracts.

They need to at least make the OT period 15 minutes long....

I’d vote for winner to be the team that can make longest FG.

Man how anyone comes in here and  bitches about dak is beyond me.

he does what almost every good QB does in that situation. Read his progression and throw it away.

but of course it’s a problem for you when Dak does it.

arm hair QBs are the fucking worse.  Talking about wide open guys in the opposite side do the field when he’s already looked off them.  No qb can see the whole field at once.  And Dak is slow as shit now. He doesn’t scramble as much as move in the pocket.  His OL can’t hold blocks or will get called for holding.

I like the current OT.  Both offenses had their chances at the end.  One thing that exceeded my expectation, was at the end of GB's last drive, the Cowboys suddenly had success tackling on the field and not letting the Packers get out of bounds.  First Diggs, then the next man.

Dak is really the only thing keeping this team competitive.

I’m guessing that’s a scoragami

just saw that the Bills game in week 1 was scoragami at 41-40 which is kind of surprising, IMO.

with just an average D we are 3-1.

You want a good quarterback. I want a great one. A great QB does not throw the fucking ball away when the game is on the line and all he's risking is a fucking sack and an easy three. Ever heard of scrambling? Some do it quite successfully. In fact Dak's had his moments with it. You don't go thru your progressions and throw it away. Maybe a quick scramble gives you an extra second or two for a receiver to open up. Maybe you see a line to the end zone. Just don't make any mistakes, and worst case scenario, you get the three. That's what championship QBs do.

Dak can't be relied upon to make the big play when it really counts.

sanborn 11 tackles 6 solo.  yards gained 200.

when does Agent 0 get back.

Midseason and like you're seeing with Diggs and Bland, he won't be 100%.  That takes about half a season.  So, in 2026, hopefully he's 100% back and not thinking or managing his injury.  This isn't like broken hand stuff, these are major injuries which take awhile to get back fully.  Players can be greenlighted way before they are all the way back from these major injuries.  Bland and Diggs may look more like themselves in teh back half of the season or they may not get back all the way at all.  We'll see...

Agreed.  Or even a bad D we're 2-2.  We have a historically terrible defense and with the offense that is probably top 5 in the league who are currently have below average OT's, are missing a top 5 WR in the league and really don't have great depth at an position.  5th in points and 1st in total yardage and pass yardage.  Dallas D is last in yardage allowed (by quite a bit) and 31st in points allowed by 1 point to the Ravens who are 1-3 and played a harder schedule than Dallas.
