3rd quarter offense and to a lesser degree D has been suboptimal for sure.

If y'all need the pain of 3rd qtr analysis...

We got better at that in 2022, but still had the same issue and still lost games because of it. KSU in 2022 and 2023 are a good example.

We haven’t lost to Kansas State since 2016 (I’m assuming that’s what you mean by KSU). Oklahoma State in 2021 (Thompson with a ridiculously bad Pick 6) and 2022 seem to fit what you’re describing.

We almost lost the last KSU game in 2023 when Quinn was out and Murphy threw a couple of terrible interceptions.  Thankfully Collin Klein is a shitty OC and bailed us out.

I'm referring to the KSU games in 2022 and 2023 as ones where we stalled out badly in the second half, not where we lost.

Ok, you literally said games were lost because of the pattern, and then cited KSU games as good examples, so I hope you can understand my confusion.

English is not Park Gothic’s first language. Cut him some slack.

But his first “language” is “David Lynch Mythology” and I don’t think that counts.

The Georgia Film Guy on youtube has a break down of Marcel Reed. He starts off saying he respects what Klein does as an OC. Then proceeds to show a bunch of clips of poorly designed plays that are doomed if the primary target is covered. He couldn't tell if Reed can work through progressions because he's never been asked to. As far as I can tell, Klein's offensive philosophy is something along the lines of, "10% of the time it works every time."

I thought we were doing a bizarro Texags thing. They retroactively count their close losses as wins, while we do the inverse.

Aggy: moral victories

Texas: more defeats

Pretty sure he's one of those old ass Australian Rules football guys that they converted at their academy. He looks 35 here though. Damn.

Seeing the pic before reading I was wondering which assistant coach he was.

he had way too much press on his way out from UNC back to Austin. btw, he reminds me of my dad, so believe me, I do everything I can to avoid looking at or listening to Mack.

Is your dad 73, almost 74 years old?  Because my mom and dad both have almost the exact facial/speech mannerisms of Mack and I've been developing a theory about those born in the window from August of 1951 to February of 1952 being peak boomer.

80s… born in 43. But do tell your theory.

I pity you fools who think in linear time.

And I know that old people easily get confused. I’ll endeavor to be more clear when I rant.

I’ve noticed more than ever this offseason that I’m not too fond of any of you. Once the conversation becomes non-football, I’m just not a fan of 97% of what I read. Y’all feel the same?

As a season ticket holder of almost 20 years, this is the most accurate description of the experience at DKR that I’ve ever seen

My son is now 11 and these past 12 months in his select world (12U) and Little League (11U+12U), we've been around 6-7 kids with "little league arm" which is basically the pre-pubescent version of serious elbow problems. I don't get it. This isn't an overuse thing given all of the pitch count and rest rules for kids these days.
I've heard it's a burgeoning epidemic in high school, even. In the 80's and 90's, it seemed like maybe a couple of guys a year would tear their UCLs and require TJ surgery. Now the Astros alone have like 5-6 guys going through the process.

I’ve read that a lot of people believe it’s the pursuit of velocity.

The counts in Little League are strictly enforced these days. The same is true for select tournaments. I get the skipping back and forth, so if parents are idiots, I guess that's a factor. I know I don't let my kid pitch more than once a week unless the first appearance was minimal, but he's almost always a starter so that isn't often.

Yeah, but when kids play on more than one team, it may not be enforced. Parents are dumb asses.
