I’m sorry to learn of your testiclectomy

Stop it. No one here wants us to lose. You shouldn't insult the rationalists. It is important to search for a positive in today's loss. Hopefully, this closes the book on Sark's reckless disregard of offensive line talent coming in through the portal.

Sark has been criminally negligent in recruiting OL talent.

Defense better be ready to eat today

If the D shows up, there is no stopping the offense.  70-0, Horns.

When I lived there there was always a good crowd at Stout Midtown by MSG

nm looks like they’re at the grand central one now. Little less of a cluster

Mateer starting per Thamel on gameday

Whatever.

He's gonna be throwing on the run, under pressure, with a busted hand.  Cool.

Honestly, I'd rather face him at 70% than his backup at 100%.

What the fuck ever. Anyone who’s not excited about this game has issues. So fuck ‘em

So in 3 weeks he had surgery.  Healed up and is ready for D 1 football at an elite level

sure Jan.

I think it's less than that, isn't it?

They're saying he's been out since 9/20 -- that was the last time he played.  But wasn't his surgery several days after that, like on Wed or Thurs?

Edit: his surgery was on 9/24.  So, he's 17 days into a 4-to-6-week recovery?  Against our defense, with his offensive line?  I mean, okay then.

Yeah. I think. They knew Kent State wasn’t an issue so they floated this to be relevant in the news maybe get him some heisman hype if they win look at mateer the super hero mere days after surgery to repair a bone in throwing hand leads ou to victory.   I hope he gets smashed.  Even a good punch at the ball can connect

My date and I will be there today and if Mateer starts with a dinged hand, I feel really, really good. Only a moron would start a guy who just had surgery 2 weeks ago in a sport that he gets hammered in and his hand can constantly get hit. Those rubes will cut off their nose to spite their faces. And just like aggy, they can't see the forest for the trees when it comes to long-term health for later in the season vs "must play him now".

what has our defense done pressure wise to make you think he’ll face any of what you just said ?

I wouldn't say hand surgery is bullshit. Seems a little tricky to fake that.

But I'm sure the severity of the affliction exists on a spectrum. Much like the ou fanbase.

Either way, Simmons et al. need to Bomar whoever is back there. Often.
