Fair. But I’d be much more comfortable with him. And they’re probably undefeated right now. Evene with the bad OL.

I mean provided he’s not hurt. Which he probably would be.

What about defensive leaders celebrating a fumble recovery that was still loose on the ground a few feet from them

the team is dumb everywhere and there is obviously a coaching problem as well.  at least the D covers for their dumbness on things like that by winning the game for us(along with Shipley and the punter).

Maybe they don’t got further with him but There’s a good chance they’re not worse.

The kid is Sark.

They can and would be worse.

It will fuck QB recruiting.

We will be starting a transfer from, checks notes... power house program Troy... where.. checks notes again... he didnt start until the final 5 games of the season.

Sure, he'll make this offense with it's great OL, run game and game plan really sing.

Last year, the scapegoat was Quinn. This year, it's Arch. Guess what, Caldwell is not going to save this offense. There are fundamental issues with this offense that makes star QBs play like shit. The next backup is not the answer.

The fuck is wrong with yall? Quinn never looked like this ever.

Agreed that Manning probably bears half the blame. Arch hit a couple of 20 yarders, but he missed a bunch of others across the spectrum. He needs to sit the fuck out next week. He needs to see his replacement go thru the motions. He needs to stay engaged and figure it all out, but not as a starter. He doesn't have the skills.

We cannot let a worthy QB sit on the bench while our Defense plays its heart out hoping to get into the playoffs just so that an overhyped pretty boy can log time. If Sark fucks this up for those boys, he should be fired. He's got a problem. He's not keeping up. He's not getting it done.

What makes you think what's on the bench is better coached than what's on the field? Where does this delusional thought come from?

Because Arch misses or won’t throw to any of the immediate reads that Sark schemes for him.  Then he’s running for his life. It’s a team effort of futility.

Agree that Arch missed the same danm throw Sark dialed up vs tOSU on the shallow cross to Wingo.  That's inexcusable and game costing.

Arch sucks ass.  Sark needs to give up OC duties and we need to spend $ on the OL like we do the DL.  Arch inability to play pitch and catch is a sign he’s not a Texas level qb 1.  We need to cut our losses and move on period end of story. Newman HS in New Orleans masked his talent.  Nice kid , good athlete but he’s a group of 5 QB

170 offensive yards, 10 first downs.

when’s the last time we had under 200 yards total offense and under 10 first downs?

Route 66 we broke 300’yards and had 3x first downs  (24)

225 yds, 15 first downs Roy Williams Superman game

Are we worried about QB recruiting or winning games?  A competent/consistent QB, even with Sark, gives them a chance in every game with this defense.

you sound like Mack Brown. Worried about feelings instead of worried about the best thing for the program to win.

and may continue to blame sake for everything but I’m watching a QB who’s been worse than Ewers ever was and can’t make simple plays.

cognitive dissonance?

Quinn had us in every game his whole career. Last year we were bitching about scoring 31. Its crazy to me that we act like the two QBs are even remotely the same.

Meanwhile Texas fans are literally replaying last year.

Ewers sucks! Put in Arch!

Arch sucks! Put in Caldwell!

Caldwell won't start next year but if he did, with a full offseason and "coaching" from Sark, guess who would suck then.

Remember the argument with Ewers? I do...

It was mostly people blaming our lack of running game or our Wrs  for his issues or blaming Ewers ability.

He's in the NFL now with multiple teammates but now a guy who transferred from Troy can out perform Arch cause back ups are always better at Texas. It is known.

I'm at a loss for a worse Texas offense than this one. Just utter shit from stem to stern. OL, RB, WRs, and maybe the worst QB to grace the 40 Acres.

Who gives as fuck?  All we know is arch isn’t cutting it and the one thing he can’t do, like complete a simple pass to a wide Open crosser, is something most college QBs CAN do.

they have nothing to lose.  They are NOT going anywhere with arch right now. The least they can do is see if the other guy can at least make the offense functional with simple passing completions.

No shit. On any given play, it seems 2-3 OL don’t block. We never blow people off the ball on run plays. Arch expects to get hit every time he drops back.

we get it. Sark sucks. But we can’t do shit shout him or the OC job till the offseason.

you are so resistant to trying another QB even with as bad as arch has played.

we have to try it or it’s useless.

How about the defensive player who celebrated tackling the runner in-bounds to keep the clock moving, but he didn't bother to really tackle the FMer and the guy got out of bounds. This is showboating. "I want to show the audience that I'm so engaged that I beat everyone else to signaling that great play to them. No goddamn awareness. Showboaters...

Last year everybody wanted Arch.  People thought Sark fucked us out of a national championship by not playing Arch over Quinn.  Now everybody wants Caldwell over Arch.

Apparently all of our backups are Tom Brady at Michigan, just waiting for his shot.

He said Quinn never played like this. The point being he did and in several games. I just gave one example. It's not the QBs; it's Sark's offense.

To be fair at least this time we know most QBs don’t miss so many wide open players.
