Should've won this year's game too.  We had an 82% postgame win expectancy.

I would agree with this if Manning wasnt missing wide open receivers. Our defense balled out but holy shit that offense was so bad.

You might even run into a fellow Surly poster.

Just make sure to wear waterproof clothing. And, uh, watch your drink; okay?

Can that poster be 6th Street?

He needs to be diving head first. That damn sliding gets guys fucked up. He just needs to do it long before anyone gets near enough to take a cheap shot. Because they’ll be coming.

He needs to be diving head first because the fucking spot the second he begins the slide is horseshit.

Not to mention missing a few field goals
Yes, we got sideshowed good in that one. I think Georgia boosters sent 4-5 high end sex contractors to his hotel room the night before.

Yep, Arch playing terribly and Guilbeau screwing his fellow defensive teammates like he usually is good for once or twice a game did them in.

If you're referring to the TD, I don't really think it's fair to blame Guilbeau. That was an absurd catch.

No. We were just better than Bama.

Milroe was just getting started and we were better in all phases.

We weren't favored to win, though, which was the question.

Guilbeau was trailing by 3-4 yards. He was beat. Ball being underthrown is the only reason Tate had to make a contested catch.

Yep. He got straight beat in 1:1. Go to 9:33. You’re right, though. It was an amazing catch on an under-thrown ball.

Hopefully we see a lot more Kade Phillips in this game. Either way, Georgia has the tools to test our defense at every level.

Gonna take 27+ to win this game. Even if we’re up early, we’ve seen them come back time and time again. I don’t think we get it done this time, but I’d love to be proven wrong. Need the dawgs on offense to show up to have a chance.

I got Georgia 30-20

I get that Gilbeau is probably the least liked starter on defense but sometimes the offense just wins. Gilbeau isn’t the only DB that has been beat on a route this year. The QB still has to make the throw and the WR has to catch it. Part of playing DB is being in a position to make those two things as difficult as possible. Gilbeau recovered and Tate made a hell of a catch. Sometimes you just have to tip your cap.

That really wasn't one.  It was still a great catch.

Our defensive coverage has improved over the years when he became less involved. He somehow beat Jahdae Barron for the starting nickel spot in 2022 only to eventually lose the spot to injury and Barron outplaying him. Barron locked down the role the following year and Guilbeau got another shot at it when Barron moved to corner, he was better but still underwhelming. We rotated many bodies at that position over the season too.

This year, we decide to trust him again and he has, predictably, been subpar yet again. Hence the opening of that position over the bye week and Kade Phillips(promising)/Kobe Black(terrible) eating into his snaps every week

I had a dream that Parker Livingstone caught a long bomb down the right sideline.  It was one of those throws like the first play of Vandy that led the receiver so well that it looked overthrown before it dropped neatly into his hands.  And then he was gone.

I’m going to consider it a true vision and an omen of how this game will go.
