December 17, 2025Dec 17 To be clear. We have "completely surrounded" a nation that.....occupies the northern flank of a large continent. They have apparently recently taken some "land" from us. I admit that my knowledge of geography isn't flawless, but I can't find any map showing any "disputed territory" or "occupied by Venezuela, claimed by US" notations on it. Perhaps someone has better maps than I've seen. Maybe drawn with a sharpie? I'm trying to understand what "oil" they took from us that belonged to us? Are we talking about the nationalization in...1976? I mean, fuck, Mexico nationalized its oil in 1938. Guess we need to set aside some of our armada to handle that shit as well. And what "assets" of the United States of America has Venezuela taken? Did they snag some Trumpcoin or something? And most importantly, over the past 11 months....what has changed to provoke this? I mean, we know, of course. Epstein files and failing/flailing Trump admin has changed. But this is just fucking amazing. Just utterly made up fantastical, physically impossible (stole our land!) bullshit used to justify a fucking WAR. If you support this shit, you are a genuine piece of shit.
December 17, 2025Dec 17 Listen, man, my genuine hatred for [hang on a minute...checking notes...] Venezuela [wow, really?] goes back decades. They are our greatest adversary in Central America. [...whispering...] SOUTH America. Every time I hear someone speak in Venezuelan, my blood boils. [Oh. They speak Spanish? Since when? And nobody told me? Well, shit, it's too late now, just go with it.] Yes, they deserve to die, and I hope they burn in hell. Edited December 17, 2025Dec 17 by aggie08

These pillaged assets were then used to fund terrorism and flood our streets with killers, mercenaries and drugs."

December 20, 2025Dec 20 https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/update-us-military-gains-access-to-south-america-air-base/ar-AA1SFFT3 Quote U.S. Air Force personnel have joined forces with their Ecuadorian counterparts at a base in Manta in Ecuador for a temporary anti-narcotics operation. “This short-term joint effort is carried out as part of our long-term bilateral security strategy, in line with the currently valid agreements in accordance with Ecuadorian law,” the U.S. Embassy stated on X this week. Turns out we were trying to get multiple bases in Ecuador last month Quote Ecuadorian voters recently rejected a referendum to allow permanent foreign military bases, reaffirming the ban on foreign bases like the one the U.S. previously operated in Manta. The vote came after Ecuador’s president sought U.S. military assistance and supported the opening of U.S. military bases in the ports of Manta and Salinas following Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s visit to the Manta military base in November. At least the Green Berets aren't launching missiles at dudes floating on wreckage in the water. Quote The move comes as Ecuador faces an unprecedented surge in drug-related violence, with homicide rates rising sharply over the past three years and criminal groups expanding their control over coastal trafficking routes. In an operation earlier this month, U.S. special forces under Southern Command assisted Ecuador’s 4th Army Division in a counter‑narcotics action in Esmeraldas on December 3, seizing 1.4 tons of cocaine with a value of about $98 million.

December 24, 2025Dec 24 b https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c87lnn09yj8o Quote Donald Trump has said the US will keep or sell the crude oil contained on tankers it has seized off the coast of Venezuela, as well as the vessels themselves. The US president's comments came as Washington continues to pressure the South American country's leader Nicolás Maduro to stand down. Speaking to reporters in Florida on Monday, Trump said of the oil "we're going to keep it", adding: "Maybe we will sell it, maybe we will keep it. Maybe we'll use it in the Strategic Reserves. We're keeping the ships also." Quote When asked whether the goal of the seizures was to force Maduro from power, Trump responded: "Well, I think it probably would... That's up to him what he wants to do. I think it'd be smart for him to do that. But again, we're gonna find out." Quote Speaking on Monday, Trump repeated that the US intends to strike targets on land too. He said: "We'll be starting the same programme on land. If they want to come by land, they're going to end up having a big problem. They're going to get blown to pieces, because we don't want our people poisoned." Speaking on state television, Maduro responded to Trump by saying: "He would be better off in his own country dealing with economic and social issues and the world would be better off if he focused on his own country's affairs." December 26, 2025Dec 26 Quote The first domino of regime change in Venezuela has been toppled, as the Trump administration has imposed a naval blockade on the main oil export ports. No oil exports mean Venezuela's income vanishes. That means food imports stop. Food shortages will give way to unrest, which will give way to regime collapse. So, what kind of situation will we be looking at once the final domino falls and Maduro relinquishes power? It's not going to be pretty. We're talking about a grim humanitarian outlook, a scary security picture, and an ugly transition of power.

So we hit them very hard.”It is unclear where the facility is located, how the attack was carried out, what damage was done or whether there were any casualties. On Monday, Trump shed some more light on the attack, saying the U.S. personnel hit an “implementation” area.“We hit all the boats and now we hit the area, it’s the implementation area. That’s where they implement. And that is no longer around,” the president said while at Mar-a-Lago, standing alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump said there was a “major explosion in the dock area where they load the boats up with drugs,” adding it took place “along the shore.”

But the facts are that Venezuela is NOT a source of fentanyl. Seriously, all sources say that "virtually no" fentanyl comes from or transits through Venezuela. And what Venezuela DOES traffic in is (1) primarily coke, (2) headed for European markets. In short, the "we gotta bomb Venezuela to protect Americans from overdose deaths" story is.....a fucking lie. December 31, 2025Dec 31 Global oil markets are nearing a massive shock as the shadow fleet edges towards collapse. With mounting pressure from US seizures, Ukrainian drone attacks, and European interdictions, the roughly 1,000-tanker-strong shadow fleet is in the crosshairs of...everybody. As ships are confiscated, disabled, or destroyed, the numbers stop making sense for captains to run the risk. This could trigger a severe tanker shortage, driving oil prices up, and making it harder for sanctioned countries to export. We're not just looking at an immediate price spike; this will be a prolonged oil shock impacting everything from transport to production.

Chinooks are not stealthy or fast, and it only takes one RPG or one Dushka to take one out.B) A staging area near by - if they were flying those helicopters from the US Navy ships as they were positioned recently, that's a helluva long way, and the Venezuelan military would have picked up on them long before now and be waiting for them.

11 hours ago11 hr President of Colombia passing along info, machine-translatedThis is the official statement from the Government of Venezuela.OFFICIAL STATEMENT BOLIVARIAN REPUBLIC OF VENEZUELA The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejects, repudiates, and denounces before the international community the extremely grave military aggression perpetrated by the current Government of the United States of America against Venezuelan territory and population in the civilian and military locations of the city of Caracas, capital of the Republic, and the states of Miranda, Aragua, and La Guaira. This act constitutes a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter, particularly its Articles 1 and 2, which enshrine respect for sovereignty, the legal equality of States, and the prohibition on the use of force. Such aggression threatens international peace and stability, specifically in Latin America and the Caribbean, and places the lives of millions of people in grave danger. The objective of this attack is none other than to seize Venezuela's strategic resources, particularly its oil and minerals, attempting to break the Nation's political independence by force. They will not succeed. After more than two hundred years of independence, the people and their legitimate Government remain steadfast in defense of sovereignty and the inalienable right to decide their own destiny. The attempt to impose a colonial war to destroy the republican form of government and force a "regime change," in alliance with the fascist oligarchy, will fail just like all previous attempts. Since 1811, Venezuela has confronted and defeated empires. When foreign powers bombarded our coasts in 1902, President Cipriano Castro proclaimed: "The insolent boot of the foreigner has profaned the sacred soil of the Fatherland." Today, with the spirit of Bolívar, Miranda, and our liberators, the Venezuelan people rise once again to defend their independence against imperialist aggression. People to the streets The Bolivarian Government calls on all social and political forces in the country to activate mobilization plans and repudiate this imperialist attack. The people of Venezuela and its Bolivarian National Armed Forces, in perfect popular-military-police fusion, are deployed to guarantee sovereignty and peace. Simultaneously, the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace will raise the corresponding complaints before the United Nations Security Council, the Secretary-General of that organization, CELAC, and the Non-Aligned Movement, demanding condemnation and accountability from the United States Government. President Nicolás Maduro has ordered all national defense plans to be implemented at the appropriate time and circumstances, in strict adherence to the provisions of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Organic Law on States of Exception, and the Organic Law on National Security. In this regard, President Nicolás Maduro has signed and ordered the implementation of the Decree declaring a State of External Commotion throughout the national territory, to protect the rights of the population, the full functioning of republican institutions, and to immediately proceed to armed struggle. The entire country must mobilize to defeat this imperialist aggression. Likewise, he has ordered the immediate deployment of the Command for the Comprehensive Defense of the Nation and the Comprehensive Defense Directorate Bodies in all states and municipalities of the country. In strict adherence to Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, Venezuela reserves the right to exercise legitimate defense to protect its people, its territory, and its independence. We call on the peoples and governments of Latin America, the Caribbean, and the world to mobilize in active solidarity against this imperialist aggression. As Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez Frías stated, "in the face of any circumstance of new difficulties, no matter how great, the response of all and all patriots... is unity, struggle, battle, and victory."
