is that an AI?

Pretty much. It's programmed to produce new ways to misspell simple words and butcher punctuation.

Why do you write your posts in italics with stupid shit like ^^^^^^^^^^^^ and about the worst capitalization choices I've seen on the internet? Are you suffering from brain trauma?

He has to be one of those boomers that figured out emojis and LOL and OMG at like age 67 and now uses it constantly.

The posts are always random shit and never in what might be considered the appropriate thread. I suspect it’s some form of interloper/troll playing a malevolent long game, I just can’t figure out the objective yet.

I've found myself watching more InsideTexas this week. Way more Xs and Os talk and currently watching the IT host, Jett Bush & Drew Kelson breaking down film of Texas defense from Ohio St. game.

Bobby and them definitely need to do more of this and get film of game to back the talk with but it feels like they’re more entertainment route.

I like to imagine that he's being super sarcastic.

OTF is getting beaten on content quality by IT, even though IT has a bunch of dudes that aren't likeable.

OTF literally had Chris Del Conte on last week dude… if Ian Boyd is your X’s and O’s then idk what to tell you.
OTF is a little overkill on the amount of content but at least once a day they have something I make it a point to watch.

Dude has been non stop hating on OTF for the past few weeks and promoting IT. Only thing IT has better is their game breakdowns and film with it but they don’t have to worry about losing monetization like Bobby does.

That's off-season stuff. What's CDC going to say that's at all groundbreaking or outside of public knowledge? Dude isn't spilling inside info on a podcast. It's the season, I don't care what CDC or the governor or some player's parent has to say right now. Thats off-season time waster stuff.

What I want is full scale film dissection by someone who knows the intricacies of the game more than me. Doing 1 show a day for a week you can really get deep into the film review and breaking down each position group. IT doesn't give anywhere near that level, but OTF gives none if it. OTF is football talk for the football ignorant

Like I said… IT uses Ian fucking Boyd as their analytics guy. Rod Babers is your deep dive analytics guy for OTF and I think he does a good job. And you know…. He actually played a sport once in his life.

I am "Team OTF". I literally support them monthly. But Hermanator is right.

If Gerry Hamilton isn't involved, it's hard to for me to be interested in much of OTF's content right now.

OTF isn’t going to put tv broadcast film on their channel because of monetization and DMCA/copyright strikes. YT is their main income along with advertising so Bobby is going to protect that.

Right now it's pretty difficult to get into anything. The Ohio State game analysis was fairly straightforward. The SJSU game is similar. The highlight reels from both are a total of 2 minutes. Recruiting updates are super thin, no ones coming to watch Texas "play with their food".

I've been on socials more than ever because of promoting the tailgate and stuff. That's all dead too, more baseball talk than anything.

Its obvious the team is good, but in a strange not exciting way because its a team that looks like if it keeps playing the way it is they lose to Oklahoma and Georgia.

The rest of the schedule isn't giving anyone much to talk about either. The early season this year is really hard with the loss and 3 throwaway games.

That's a great summation. The offense laid an egg in Columbus and was so pedestrian for the next two weeks, with Arch looking way off and several key talents sidelined. For that matter, as solid as our defense was, the lack of a weekly sack party was unsettling after so much buildup.

Given all this, I think many of us longtime fans have a rather uneasy felling about where things actually stand. Maybe that was always the likeliest outcome following an offseason in which some folks really asked if this team might beat 2005's, but to see us look so meh on one side of the ball has been buzzkill. While last night was a long step in the right direction, let's not forget that was a home game against an 0-3 Sam Houston squad that under no circumstances had a chance to beat us.

I was a Coffee & Football guy nearly every weekday for months leading into the season, mostly to get recruit updates from Gerry. Recruiting is the one major part of college sports I can't really watch for myself, so accurate coverage of that topic intrigues me much more than game analysis. I'm no coach, but I'm content with my own ability to tell what did or didn't happen on the field of play.
