Yes we have too many AAA being asked to contribute but our all-stars need to play like one as well

The all-stars have had a lot of weight on their shoulders trying to do too much during the AAA bandaid portion of the season.

I knew this would be the counter argument

I get it but I don’t buy it

They’re seasoned veterans at this point and are better than to be pressing trying to compensate for a weak bottom of the order

I knew you knew this may be a counterpoint, (not really, just sounded good). However,  for that exact reason, a seasoned  veteran who is a solid bought-in dedicated member of a team will think it is their duty to hold down the fort in the absence of key contributors. Overall, they have done a great job, but to me, anyway, I have seen plate appearances by some of those guys that are seemingly out of character lately as this stretch drags on.
