Yeah I guess it's the same rule as interfering with the catcher making a throw on an attempted steal right?

Pitch bounced up towards Correa after bouncing of catcher and Correa reflexively tried to catch it.

no i don't believe so.  someone can correct me, but i think accidental interference just sends the runner back.  maybe intentional interference, which this was, in a different way.

would be cool to be on the right side of weird umpiring for once, but i'm not holding my breath.
