  2. he aint going to be in the NFL for long.... owning the land + guides is HUGE money and you can add in breeding of livestock.
  3. I mean if he banks his NIL from tOSU and from Texas he could coast for sure, but guiding isn't huge money. not like long term NFL contracts, UT connections / real estate deals, investment banking, etc.
  4. he leaves high school early so he he can go get paid, finishes like 5th or 6th in tOSU qb competition, learns nothing, shows up to Texas overweight and unkempt, and doesn’t even begin to take himself seriously until his third year of college. then even once he does he proves himself to still be overrated, to still be wildly inaccurate, and oh yeah, now we can see he’s scared to death of getting hit. he might end up being the poster boy for the cautionary tale of selfish bag chasers in the future. by the time he actually started taking himself or his craft seriously it was too late. now he’ll never get the real bag, that second nfl contract. he won’t even come close in fact, and frankly he should not even have been our starter anymore after his early season injury, so he’s lucky to have even had the college career he did end up with. this guy was born on third base, thought he hit a triple, and then couldn’t even make it home on a fly out to the warning track in right. maybe next lifetime he’ll just stay humble and work hard.

  9. I know this has been touched on in the travel tips mega thread, but I think enough people use this card to have a dedicated thread for the upcoming changes. New annual fee is $795 + $195 for an AU, starting with card anniversary. New benefits go into effect 10/26/25. Here is a breakdown taken from another site: POINTS EARNING 8x points on all travel booked through Chase 4x points on all other flights and hotels booked directly with airline or hotel 3x points on dining at restaurants 1x points on everything else BENEFITS $300 travel credit $250 x 2 yearly credit for The Edit hotels booked through Chase $150 x 2 dining credit through Sapphire Reserve exclusive tables via OpenTable $250 Apple TV and Apple Music Credit $150 x 2 Stubhub credits $120 Peloton (12x$10) $120 Lyft credit (12x$10) $420 Doordash (Dashpass + 12x($5+$10+$10) IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite Status 2x redemption rate for points at The Edit hotels and Premium cabin airfare Priority Pass + Air Canada Maple leaf lounge (when traveling on star alliance) Global Entry fee credit Other benefits like car rental coverage and trip delay appear to stay the same AFTER $75,000 SPEND IHG Diamond Elite Status $500 Southwest Credit via Chase Travel A-list Status with Southwest $250 Shops at Chase credit Also, the 1.5x point redemption through the Chase portal is going away. It's getting replaced by a 2x Points Boost on some bookings, but I assume those will be very limited offerings and I'm not aware of a way to preview how that will actually look. So that seems like a net negative. I have my wife as an AU (I know, not recommended by people who churn cards, but it's convenient) so my new annual fee is basically $1,000, or let's say $700 after the immediate travel credit. I use Apple TV+ so there's another $120 in useful credits, so now I just need $580 in actual value each year. I don't use Apple Music or Peloton and my Global Entry isn't due for 2-3 years, so those are all useless. I do use Stubhub 2-3 times a year so it seem like I can easily redeem the 2 x $150 credits, assuming no strings attached to that. The exclusive dining tables I think is new? so I registered my Opentable account and it looks like there aren't a ton of options in DFW. I guess I could do it but I would be going out of my way to eat somewhere I wouldn't otherwise pick. I occasionally book hotels through Chase that are listed as The Edit and I usually get a minor perk at the hotel, but the $250 statement credit would be nice. My understanding is you need to stay 2 nights to qualify, but I usually do that. I'm not a big Door Dasher and I think those credits are fairly restricted, so kinda worthless to me. I use Uber occasionally, Lyft hardly ever, but it would be an easy switch when I need it. I would likely qualify for the $75,000 annual spend, so the $500 SWA credit seems like a major perk and the $250 Shops at Chase credit could be useful for something? Curious everyone's thoughts on these changes and the value of the card in its new form. I'm sure a lot of people will downgrade to the CSP or one of the free cards, but I get the feeling the CSR is still a good option even at the higher price point.
  10. Sure, if you're a 12 year old Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings fanboy.
  11. The irony is everyone in that photo voted for this.
  12. This is where I'm at. This is going to be a very bad team.
  13. Just a lot of excitement around Archmania, another elite defense and the polls acknowledging that with a consensus #1 preseason ranking. First ever
  14. Possibly unpopular opinion: If they're going to call it Detroit Pizza they should be required to use WI brick.
  15. You left out the masterpiece, Tank Girl.
  16. Another question someone brought up. Why so many hot dogs for just two people?
  17. lol Sure, pass me a glass and make it a double. I guess I underestimated how seriously we take Off-season Championships around here.
  18. i got yelled at two days ago for saying that his pocket presence and footwork are terrible. in fact i was told that neither of those things was even true. weird.
