Complete ass kicking everywhere but the scoreboard. Well deserved win. -
A lot more Democrats that currently hate their party than Republicans who hate theirs.

scouts are the enemy? my old brain just can't keep up.

No comment necessary. While more Americans have negative than positive views of both the Democratic and Republican parties, net favorability is higher for the Republican Party than for the Democratic Party (-17 vs. -26) Republican Party favorability has been higher than the Democratic Party's since soon after the 2024 election; for the seven years before then, the Democratic Party generally was viewed more favorably than the Republican Party https://today.yougov.com/politics/articles/52988-donald-trump-job-approval-presidential-attributes-charlie-kirk-shooting-political-violence-political-parties-democratic-party-republican-party-jeffrey-epstein-immigration-september-12-15-2025-economist-yougov-poll

Goddamnit, I just saw that someone else already posted this before I could delete it. And they did it verbatim, whereas, mine was shot from the hip. -
Texas Rangers 2025: Pitching has been fire. Bats not so much.

Osuna over trying to get Helman in there, because "right/lefty" matchup. Here's Osuna vs Righties .212 / .326 / .257 / .583 And Helman vs Righties .387 / .457 / .710 / 1.167 Sure, fewer at bats, but anyone with two working eyeballs and no early onset dementia can see Helman is a better player at the plate. And the field for fuck's sake. Bochy. Thanks for your contribution to the title. But I look forward to having a manager who doesn't ignore the fucking obvious. -
what sucks is arch was in 4th down situations BECAUSE WE CAN’T RUN THE FUCKING BALL We are fucked on offense if the defense can drop 8 every play and keep a light box.

Arch's little brother. Not a football player; just a regular student. -
Everyone knows to take a Mountain West RB at #7 overall pick for the competent pass blocking?

Guessing they had something related to Kirk, ie the Cartman/Clyde stuff from a couple episodes ago, and backed off it.

I would recommend watching one pace, https://onepace.net/en/watch . It makes the show so much more watchable. It'll shave off a couple hours per arc especially when you hit the middle/later arcs when they stall and throw in a bunch of bullshit so they don't catch up to the manga.

They can go all-in on the Epstein stuff.

Public service announcement to Houston Folks, like @billfromlaketravis, the Total Wine near the Heights has Weller Special reserve in stock. Some 750's and a few 1.5s. They're limiting it to one per customer, so I picked up a handle. I know it's not particularly special, but it also just isn't around a lot. I haven't seen it in 6 months or so at that Total Wine.

Star Trek: The Last Starship A 'Love Letter' To Star Trek CBR reports exclusively that the upcoming comic book Star Trek: The Last Starship, which features the return of Captain Kirk and the Borg, is the biggest Star Trek comic launch in more than two years. This is the biggest Star Trek launch since the relaunch back in 2022 (which was also penned by The Last Starship co-writers Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing. That run also made history by being the first Star Trek comic to earn Eisner nominations. “This is more than just another Star Trek comic — it’s the biggest launch we’ve had in years, and a love letter to everything that makes Trek timeless,” Group Editor Heather Antos told CBR. “Star Trek has always been about exploration — and The Last Starship is the kind of series that redefines what’s possible in comics. Do not miss out on this one!”
