  2. nsiap. film guy shreds oline recruiting minute 1.50 - LG is a turnstile yeah, we noticed also some chatter on play design and checkdowns available
  3. TBF, Gold just broke an all-time record of $4,000 an oz I believe.... https://www.wsj.com/finance/commodities-futures/gold-price-4000-ounce-record-d63ab2bd
  4. Hopefully Sark is now capable of recognizing the situation on the field and be prepared for a trick play such as a fake punt or illegal play with hidden player (proven cheaters in which the team, HC, AD, and school President apparently support as ,"if it helps us win then it's good to go for us"). Maybe some promising student will come up with a yell recognizing the accomplished OU cheaters to accompany "OU Sucks".
  5. I think your analysis also gets an "incomplete" because I think you could be right, but it depends... It depends on who is going to step up and be the next Iran and funnel money, arms, protection and leadership to the next generation of Palestine's Hamas that you think is inevitable to crop up? While Israel might have done a terrible job calculating the long-term costs (TBD), I think they tried to mitigate long term consequences. Which is to say the dismantling of it's enemies who allowed Hamas to be as powerful as they got to be as a terrorist group for the OG 10/7 two years ago, in the attacks in Syria, Iran, and abroad. They were trying to eliminate the threat wholly (which, grossly, looks like it included eliminating Palestine completely) and seemed to have the mindset of take the axe to the roots and not let it grow back. Obviously they've failed so what's next? Did they get enough of the roots for the weeds to be managable or is it all Hamas-redux all the way down? TBD, WIP, Incomplete.
  6. Gotta sleep with the janitor
  7. do they drop pee indicator dye in the pool ??
  8. This is true but I think the most important thing the pubs figured out is that fear and anger are much much stronger that "caring about others" or "doing the right thing for society". It's that simple. Despite what George Lucas tried to sell us, fear and hate are the strongest motivators outside of food/shelter/sex. And since the dems are selling those those things, their message is just weak and no one gives a shit. The gig is up. Pubs and Fox News figured out and have fully exploited the hack to our lizard brains. Until there is a full economic collapse resulting in food/shelter shortages, nothing the Dems say is gonna break through.
  9. When it comes to front-burner controversies, message board posters tend to be either hyper-positive or condemnatorily negative—seldom, if ever, is there ever any well reasoned in-between. And that's the way it is when it comes to Sark. As with most things in life, somewhere in between is where the truth lies. Sark brought us out of the Strong/Herman embarrassment and into the light with two consecutive playoff appearances. Then, he completely and irreparably screwed the 2025 season with this inexcusable abortion of an offensive line. I'm nowhere near a Sark apologist; this is his fuck-up and it's a bad one, a tenure-threatening one. Still, looking at the big picture: track record to date, cost of buyout and new-hire, internal AD/BOR politics, availability of a guaranteed upgrade, it's pretty obvious we’re going to be stuck with him for a while, like it or not. The best we can hope for is continued Big Cigar $NIL buy-in, a better plan for next year, and good luck in the off-season portal. But that’s next year. There’s still the rest of this year to endure and . . .
  10. I’d spend all my FAAB on JCM.
  11. Green-lit. Amazon instead of WB https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/heat-2-is-on-michael-mann-crime-thriller-1236392878/
  12. pretty sure christian gets another season. hopefully he picks it up
  13. Taunting blue state governors.
  14. that is the attempt I want Arch to make. The play was there; the blocking was not. Cannot fault Arch for missing it, eludes one DL and the next one decapitated him. Just needed him to be spectacular to make that throw or OL to be D+. In this offense you have to take those shots, because scoring it not going to be easy. I am going to guess we will see this vs OU, hoping OL gives Arch split second more or he makes the great play. OU can be had deep, if you can get the ball off.
  15. I'm just sure this is so Sanders can start
  16. Cant see - we can do all kinds of shit.
  17. They do this for the same reason people sell gold on Fox News: the common knowledge that a reliable and surprisingly large group of gullible people (marks) will give money to a faceless crew of predatory, unaccountable thieves (con artists) and there's no recourse available to the victims. That faceless crew is probably exactly the same people who ran this con the last time, and they will achieve exactly the same result.
  18. We had brunch on Friday at Bouchon, and it still crushes it. Just ridiculously good. We haven't ventured to Lotus of Siam in a couple years, we opted for Bazaar Mar on our free night. That was...one of the most overpriced meals I've ever had in Las Vegas for what we got. Pretty disappointing from a Jose Andres joint. If you go avoid the tasting menu like the fucking plague. One funny thing, is there was the Marine Corps formal ball or something on...Thursday night? Think it was Thursday. Anyway, I'm riding down the elevator with these two young marines, full dress, and one of their dates. Couldn't have been older than 22. She's drinking from a cup, and offers a sip to the other guy who isn't her date. "Want a sip of my roadie?" He, as one does, asks what's in the cup? "Oh, it's mountain dew and tequila." He looks confused. I can't help myself and go "A classic pairing." He's too young to know better, and looks at me and goes "really?" to which I respond "Absolutely fucking not" and execute my perfectly timed my exit from the elevator.
  19. So Simon is a top tier RB now? Is that based on his Sam Houston performance because apparently if that's the measuring stick we had a top tier QB playing against FL and that didn't help much.
  20. As a fan, I don’t understand this thought process. I hope Jim Crane personally writes a check for his remaining salary if it gets a better prospect in any trade which helps the Astros win major league games. I don’t care if Crane and partners make money, etc. Cohen hasn’t been able to buy the Mets a championship yet - but I would much rather have ownership take a view similar to what the Mets did with Verlander. That deal only gets done if the Mets pay a good chunk of his salary and in return, the Mets get better prospects in return.
  21. I almost hate to say this, but texags has a really cool cfb picks game they run: https://texags.com/pickoff Any chance we could get something like that on here, imma?
  22. Exactly. It’s tough to please these fair weathered fans
