Get him out. Josh fucked up this inning by not making that play. He should have made it.

You all are missing the point. We’ve gone from “we could only run against OSU because they played a light box” to “we can’t run against UTEP playing a light box.” -
That'll work Diaz More please

It's the kind of shit I used to hear from my grandparents' generation. And happily not from my actual grandparents, just random mean old fuckers. -

Well kids, we tried to make it fun at the end. -
Running right at 35/31/34 on average it looks like with avocado most days pushing the fats up a little higher. Keeping the calories up closer to 1800-1900, but still on the low end of protein I think. Going to work on that some this week and dropping fats down some more. Still losing about 2 pounds a week. Walked/ran 30 miles last week and did 6-8 more rowing plus weights most days. Went with the TL protein shakes, we’ll see how they are tomorrow.

I usually have blood drawn for lab work a couple of days before my checkup appointments. I got tired of doing the paperwork twice in a few days and asked if I could just do it when I was there for the checkup. I was allowed to do that for about a year, then it went back to every time I went into the office. Dammit.

I think we should bring in David Cutcliffe to unofficially replace Milwee for the rest of the season. That's someone Arch probably trusts and whatever Milwee is doing is making things worse.

That was a magical experience. Even when they showed more obscure sports or when nothing would match the intensity of the intro, it was still great. Made by people who really cared about sports. Loved American Sportsman as well.

I think, for the Bicentennial, we put quarters on the rail and traded them like cigarettes in my old railroad town. Everyone swore they put it in front of the “Liberty Train”., even though that fucker never came within 500 miles of us. Really, I wanted to be the first to use Semiquincentennial. BUT, probably not. Ok that last line made me chuckle.

You ever get tired of being right all the time?

Probably not remotely similar in flavor, but Carlos Santana used to have a place on Colorado St. in Austin called Maria Maria, which though average overall, served Machaca con Huevos, which was out of this world.

If this is it. Looks like part 1 and 2 are on YT

It’s really the classic mistake when dealing with authoritarians. “If I appease him, I’m safe.” That is never, ever true. You have to add “until he inevitably decides that he’s done with me, which is when I’m fucked.” All that appeasing an authoritarian does is buy you time. Only fighting AGAINST the authoritarian has any chance of securing you actual freedom. That’s it. It’s the only path. -
This will be 10 in a row. I am gruntled.

Texas Football 2025 - Careening Towards the Abyss
satyanash replied to closetojumping's topic in Football
No it wasn't. The run game was completely ineffective in the red zone, along with the rest of our offense. tOSU was wholly unconcerned with our rushing attack in between the 20s, they were focused on showing Arch exotic coverages on the back end. Once we reached the red zone tOSU tightened things up and our O-line started getting dominated in the trenches. Bend-but-don't-break. -
Sounds cool, thanks for the heads up.
