Naw, man. In 1996, they believed they were in top. They had gone to the Cotton Bowl three years in a row (‘91-‘93), won the conference four in a row, and believed their ‘95 loss to Texas was a total fluke after beating UT 10 out of 11 from ‘84 to ‘94. They were a total smug bunch.

I negged you not because you have a dumb fucking take, which you do, but because you're new here and seem to be under the impression that there aren't consequences for being voluminous and just spraying the board with stupid shit. Rep is sadly our only currency, but it can be used to ultimately crowdsource out early new poster stupidity. -
Also they weren't stopping VY from first and goal, which is what it would have been. And had we had to run 1-3 plays to score, USC never has the time to drive the field for a field goal before half. At best for USC it's Texas kicking a FG to end the half. So subtracting the field goal they were able to get it's net Texas 6 points, which is what we got after we rushed the XP. At worst, we score a TD in the next few plays and they don't get a FG. So it is Texas plus 9. Whatever, what happened that night ended up awesome.

Kinda goes along with the trend of Trump voters being really shitty people who like to play down how shitty he really is.

Just a typical libertarian up in arms about some message board fodder and unconcerned about deployment of the U.S. Military in American cities. lol

Our guy really helps our daughter polish up everything. I don't think the people viewing the application ding you for making it sound more professional. I'm sure the essay is where it can be tricky if it's not in the writing style of a 17 year old. We'll see tonight when we meet him to go over her essay and next steps for her to work on. I'm just going to drop her off, let them work on it while I go hang out at Barnes & Noble, and then come back to see how it went and ask a few next steps questions. We're thinking of not traveling to San Diego next month so she's not missing school or her internship that starts after Labor Day. We know San Diego so it's more just seeing if applying make sense financially if they don't kick in anything. We'll see. I'd sure love to spend 4 years near La Jolla.

For OSU, 4/5 OL positions are returning starters. Talent/experience-wise, I would take OSU at OL, WR (easily), TE, defensive secondary. Perhaps at RB depending on TX health status. I think talent and experience are more or less a wash overall between the two teams. As stated in my initial post, I'd give TX with a slight advantage at QB because of Manning's game experience, and a bigger advantage on the sideline because OSU is breaking in new coordinators. If forced to predict I'd say TX wins 28-24 but one play could break the game in either direction.

Why? It's not like anyone will stop him. The republican party will probably just name him emperor and SCOTUS will place the crown on his head (six of them at least).

aggy was also a sleeping giant back then. Shocking.

I go back to that all the time. My one positive thought on 1/6 was that at least we were done with Trump. Just a massive failure at every level.

I'm not sure there's a single player who gets run over more from our own fanbase, undeservedly, than Chris Simms. The guy was top 10 in most statistical UT categories in about two cobbled together years of QBing. More than that, people on campus and off, during college and after, have treated the guy like dogshit, personally. I don't blame the guy for having nothing to do with the University of Texas. And I say all that as a Major guy during the time. The guy went 26-6 as a starter, for fuck's sake. -
We thank you for your service.

We need to stop using “active shooter” in media reports. It’s an LEO term used to indicate the threat is ongoing. Of course the shooter is/was active if he’s fucking shooting people. It jargonizes and distances reader from the reality. “Gunman,” “killer,” or just “shooter.”

I don't think you understand what overrated means in this context. -
I watched a "How to save in Vegas" video the other day and it was hilarious. Sure you can buy a Modello tall boy for $18 at the bar. But if you walk a few steps to the C-store you buy the same thing for $15! Totally ignoring the fact a tallboy is $15 fucking dollars. Parking has become outrageous, traffic is horrendous, autogratuity along with Hospitality and Resort fees are just milking money with nothing in return.

Please, please, please let him try this. Please.

I like how they point out that we are replacing all of our OL and make no mention that they are basically doing the same, but with a new OC who has never called plays before. Patricia is ass, and has been riding Bill's dick for his entire career. The simple fact is that this Texas team is better than tOSU at almost every position group. Maybe give tOSU the advantage at WR and call safety a wash since they have Caleb Downs. Our defensive staff has shown that they can force teams to be one dimensional. I expect us the scheme away the buckeye's run game and put the entire game on Sayin's back. Good luck if we get into a game where Simmons and Burke can simply pin their ears back and rush the QB. This game feels like a 17-10 UT game in the 1st half with Texas pulling away late due to a turnover of some sort. I said 24-16 UT in the prediciton thread, but as we get closer it feels more like 31-17 type game.

Agreed on getting there early. Also, there's a real time camera of the tee box and picnic table area on the website so you can get an idea of how stacked up it is.
