  1. Past hour
  2. I like seeing the Lakers lose in the first round as much as anybody, but it also unfortunately means we have now entered Lebron's annual "pretending he might not play next season decision process" when everyone knows he has to play so that Bronny can sit on daddy's lap again next season have a spot on an NBA roster next season.
  3. Sucks for him. That was a gruesome injury to witness. Theisman, Tyrone Prothro, and this dude all on national tv of some sort. When a leg injury turns a body part sideways, backwards, or in multiple directions at once, the playing days are usually over. I guess Tim Krumrie and Alex Smith might disagree, but those are both crazy ass stories in bravery, persistence, and lunacy.
  4. Don't forget to factor in outrage over an idiotic theory of who killed him (natural causes are right out the window in Conspiracy World). In a world where politics for the majority seems to be akin to NFL fanship, imagine the emotional fallout should someone's favorite team perish in a plane crash. A hard core of 40% of adults who have their entire identity, religion (quasi-religion?), and (lack of) values defined by Trump makes a very formidable plurality who will surely fill the world with lamentation, hate, and repercussions against the most powerless entities they can locate. Every vile act of Trump will be codified. It's hardly a matter of how weepy people will get. It's a matter of how tamely the rest of us will endure it. Great question though. Seriously.
  5. Man I've been alive 48 years and there has never been anything close to the kind of death speculation that you hear about the Dotard. I can't even think of who would have second place. Bin Laden dying was a big deal and prompted USA chants, but we didn't all sit around talking about what it would be like if he died.
  6. 200 Penguins have signed on, only 2.4 million to go.
  7. Gauff rolled up Iga in straights
  8. BronnyTime needs to be trademarked.
  9. CBS News reporting national security advisor Mike Waltz and his deputy are leaving Turnip is phrasing it as a “reorg” Reorganizing after just 101 days?
  10. Guilbeau in the 2nd is the biggest WTF to me.
  11. Since the monster storm that passed through two days ago and knocked out the power for about 400,000 around Pittsburgh my sister has been at my house. She lives a mile away and has no power. I have power. She mentioned that she had never seen the movie from the very beginning so I made her sit down and watch the beginning, especially when he "kicked the bucket". Just awesome.
  12. Fucking a. The only acceptable nomenclature is University of Texas at Omaha. I know DV is likely going to win SEC pitcher of the year but Ruger should be getting serious consideration for that award.
  13. I'm actually curious about people's opinions on this. What percentage of the adult population will be legitimately sad about this scenario? I can't fathom it would be more than 20%. And I'd guess double that amount would be elated. The remaining 40% would be apathetic or, at most, nervous/uneasy about the implications of his death.
  14. Dr. Luke and Dr. Anna need to be loaded into a catapult and slingshot to the moon, landing somewhere in Westherford.
  15. Jax on. Jax off.
  16. It would look like hammered poo. That dude isn't an outside receiver. His hands also kind of suck. A 2nd round grade for him is absurd. I won't be surprised if he's passed up by year's end. He didn't do himself any favors with how he handled part of the offseason, either. He's not going to get a lot of undue loyalty the way he did this past season. You took one play and attempted to build a foundation with that and your usual bullshit of negging Ewers as some sort of subpar college QB. It's astonishing how often you sprint onto this board in order to show us your ability to projectile vomit bad takes.
  17. I don’t do much brunch, but I do hit Thousand Oaks Cafe on Austin Highway every Saturday for breakfast and cannot recommend it highly enough. Of the various Pearl spots I would rank 1) Ladino 2) Mon Chou Chou and 3) Best Quality Daughter as my top three. The pizza place at the food court is also quite good.
  18. Also the Wolves missing 40 threes - the most ever in a playoff game - and still winning because Rudy went for 27/24 lol
  19. I'm not as down on Moore as some here appear to be, but that specific play was Sark scheming up a tendency breaker more than Moore beating someone in coverage or running a nice route against zone
  20. Thanks Dr. Phil. But you're not wrong.
  21. Golden and motivated Bond definitely did not look like JAGs with Ewers throwing to them, not to mention Mitchell and Worthy.
  22. I don't know which is worse: their fans using OmaHogs or some of our fans using OmaHorns. Theirs is a joke. Ours is unnecessary.
  23. Yep. And the "Do Not Call List" is less of an impediment than the fucking Maginot Line had the Maginot Line been built with wet tissue paper.
