Dilution is always a bad thing on these. Current euphoria may overcome, but dilution is never good for investors.

I can’t believe it is the year of our Lord 2025 and so many people take everything Trump says literally. Yall freak out every time. It’s part of his whole strategic ambiguity/madman thing. He doesn’t want adversaries to be able to predict what he’s going to do. Remember, he did the same thing with Iran. I know you remember because you freaked out about it, “This is wild and makes me think he’s going to try regime change if he’s bringing up the embassy takeover and bitching about Iran killing Americans in the past. And his earlier comment about regime change - if you’re the Iranian leadership and think he’s serious, you have nothing to lose by shutting down the Strait and doing some thing on a large scale against us.” “All these people celebrating this didn't give two shits about Iran's nuclear capabilities two weeks ago. They only started caring because they were told to. Fingers crossed that this goes no farther (further!). And I'm hoping that influential people in the US will shut the fuck up about regime change, because if we make the Iranians think that we are going to make that happen, they have nothing to lose.” And there’s more, but I’ll just share this to show how you get all caught up in your hallucinations about how you think things will play out. Re Iran strike: “The United States doesn't get to decide how things play out now - we just get to hope Iran does nothing. Because Iran could shut down the Strait of Hormuz, and they are better equipped and better trained than the Houthi. They could launch a bunch of missiles and drones at American bases across the Gulf, bases that do not have Israel's Iron Dome, and we better hope our AD folks are ready and have everything they need at all of those bases. We have American forces in a lot of bases around the Persian Gulf, and in many cases, it would be easy for the Iranian intelligence to have eyes on them, given their locations. Speaking of autonomous warfare, they could flood the Gulf with drones - regardless of how much Ukraine has been supplied with decent Western air defenses, Russia is still overwhelming/getting through them, and there's a fuckton of ships that pass through the Strait that don't have much more than AK's or PKMs to ward off pirates. And you can say "well not if the US Navy has anything to say about it" and yeah, what happens when the US Navy is operating in extremely close quarters in the area of the Strait, with lots of Iranian drones/missiles within range? We have the best fucking navy in the world and second place is not even close, but what happens when we get the 2025 version of the HMS Sheffield sunk or a USS Cole with a hole blown in the side? You think Trump can back down from that? Hell no, he will only escalate things, and boots on the ground would not be out of the question. And if you're Iran, you've probably already moved the good stuff out of Fordow and the other locations, to locations that have never seen an international inspection. I wouldn't be surprised if we bombed empty locations. And the Iranian leadership will have to respond - any major sign of weakness and the population could easily pop off. It may not be Pandor's Box, but we have no idea how this is going to play out, or how many Americans will end up dead or where our military involvement will stop. If Trump conveyed to the Iranians that this was a limited strike, that was an extremely dumbfuck thing to do, because you never tell your enemies where you plan on stopping. The Iranians could strike back at US forces and dare Trump to ramp things up knowing his base would not be pleased.” Your analysis is fatally flawed because of your contempt for one man. You sound ridiculous. Take a look at you pumping BRICS instead of like hey maybe Venezuela can get fucked. Maybe nothing will happen idk. But you’re acting like Colombia or whoever will make a meaningful connection or contribution with that? Give me a break.

It bothers you a fuckton that somebody walked out of a movie, without saying a word to interrupt the experience of others. Just got up and left, and shared it on here, where I've shared tons of other opinions on movies and TV events. Why do you give a fuck? -

good thing we won't be playing during that time so he can't do like he did last year and not bring in recruits during playoff preparation even though other schools were. It's been explained by imma, someguy, and nicole. Read the fucking thread you moron. -

It's literally always been this way for several decades - strong economy, lowered enlistment. Weak/unstable economy, higher enlistment. And your numbers didn't seem to break out how many were transitioning from active duty. Toss in rising college costs these days on top of the economy, and that many National Guards will work to cover in-state tuition costs or provide assistance while you are in school and in the National Guard. You don't have to go serve your enlistment for X amount of time (I think 2 or 4 years active-duty) and then become eligible for the G.I. Bill. Right now, for instance, Texas will pay for up to $10,000 a semester, with no minimum time served - you only need to be in and doing your drills, and you only reimburse them if you fail or drop a class. He can go to pretty much to any large city in the US and find a solid job, and he's absolutely going to look elsewhere, at states that don't yank him around. His ties to Texas and desire to stay here are falling away as they transition into empty nesters and he starts looking at separation. Give him lemons, he will make lemonade. But I know plenty of others who were not happy about going to the border. People sign up because they want to serve their state, because they are transitioning from active duty, because free or cheap college while they are in the NG (rather than after), because they want to serve their nation but NG or Reserves make the most sense given their situation, etc. Not because somebody wants attention from the President, especially when they are asked to do the same job that a better-paid civilian is doing. -

Behind the Bastards does some really good stuff. Evans covers some of the obvious baddies but also does episodes on some real pieces of work. I haven't listened to the Lee Atwater one but it's next on my list. The ones on James Grigson are infuriating. He was the "expert" witness who testified in Texas death penalty cases and probably got some innocent people killed.

JOBY did that dirty thing where they announced a huge offering incoming after market close.

Yeah fuck us. If we could just be more like Bama fans we'd have 15 natties.

Almost like Jesus had a parable on that exact topic, or something (Luke 18:10-14)

Both things can be true. Besides, look at Belichick. It’s not the X’s and O’s that are killing Billy boy it’s the Jimmys and Joes. Do you think that 80’s era SMU wasn’t talented?

I can't find the graphic about how people rate Monster. I know some publications are harping on it's terribly low rotten tomatoes score. The graphic showed almost all ratings either a 5 or a 1, and I totally get it.

My cut ups? Anyway, I am going to move away from the Florida game for a bit because it looks like the lack of protection from that game is clouding up my point. Which was Arch isn't seeing the field. The play I was talking about was this one. We get to it from many different formation but essentially the slot guy runs a deep post and then they bring a dig underneath. Everyone keeps saying the problem is you are reading long to short and that forces you to hold the ball but that just isn't true. When you walk up to the line the coverage already kinda tells you what to look for. So for this play you are reading the safety's reaction, and it doesn't take that long to get it. If the safety starts backpedaling for the post we immediately throw the dig. If the safety stays flat we look for the post. Now here is the same play in the same game. Watch how each QB handles it. This is Manning vs Georgia last year. If you are reading that safety you know immediately after the snap that the dig will be available. Manning Georgia.mp4 Now here is Quinn in the same game vs the same defense running the same play. Quinn recognizes the safety bailing and hit the underneath dig accordingly. Quinn Georgia.mp4 Let's fast forward to this year vs Ohio State. We run the same play. At the snap they roll to what looks to be Cover 3 with the safety digging for depth. So you should know immediately to look for that dig. Especially with the field side corner squatting, and looking for work in the flat. If Manning hits that dig when his back foot hits his drop it would be perfect, but instead he stares down the post, hops forward another two steps, and then lets it go. Manning Ohio State.mp4 Now lastly this is Caldwell. It's hard to see the field because they cut to the penalty but you can see the slot runs off the safety. Caldwell gives it a quick peek. Hid cue tells him to look for the dig, and he throws it on the break. Caldwell Florida.mp4 The point is that just because there is a set structure to how you read plays, like long to short. It doesn't mean that's a hard rule or that we should be standing back there looking at the play for 3 or 4 seconds. Almost all plays have a deep option, but the read can be made to come off it really quickly like this play here. Arch just doesn't do that. This what I mean when I say he gets himself in trouble. We run this play every game and I have never seen him hit this dig.
