Texas Rangers 2025: Pitching has been fire. Bats not so much.

Cool. I did that for a college course. If it's like that was, the tech director far right is doing the actual fees switching between cameras, as called out by the director. I think the producer gets the cameras in position or helps prep. Either way, it's much faster paced than our three-camera setup of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead at the UT Communications department. -

I was in the stands for the one he hit in SD at the 2017 WBC. It was far and away the hardest hit ball I've ever seen.

Almost universally in college football, when a team returns a defensive starter, it is seen as a reason for confidence for that player’s unit going forward. Barring a player who was just terrible or one that was thrust into the lineup because of downfalls throughout the team, this player should be a key piece for the roster. Texas has a lot of these in 2025: Michael Taaffe, Anthony Hill, Malik Muhammad, etc. More specifically, they have three players who played significantly in 2024 who are now entering their senior seasons in 2025—Ethan Burke, Trey Moore, and the title’s namesake, Jaylon Guilbeau. Guilbeau and Moore share a similar path this offseason, being tasked with changing positions. In Moore’s case, Texas was so talented at edge rusher that they saw him as a better fit at off-ball linebacker, the spot he would likely be playing in the pros anyway. That situation is a bit different for Guilbeau. Texas has moved nickels outside as recently as last season with Jahdae Barron, but it wasn’t because Texas was so good at STAR that they just wanted to get their best five players on the field. Texas is moving Guilbeau outside, but doesn’t truly have an answer after him at STAR. Directly looking at Guilbeau as a player, there is reason to be confident in him as a boundary corner. He was recruited there as a top-150 player in the class of 2022. Though it was in the slot, he started three of Texas’ first four games as a freshman but missed the latter half of the season with a torn ACL. In 2024, he was good—not great—in coverage at the nickel, but will now be over two years removed from that tear. He’s running at NFL-level speed. “It’s been going smoothly. Just getting in the rhythm of playing corner and getting my traits back,” Guilbeau said about moving outside. “I feel like corner is easier than nickel. Corner, you’ve got a better advantage because you can use the sideline.” But even with a pretty major shift in identity for Guilbeau, it’s been mostly quiet on the reporting front. Defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski endorsed him as an emerging leader of the defense, but mostly just named names when asked about how the cornerback depth chart looks. Guilbeau exemplifies one of the biggest questions that comes with this Texas secondary in 2025: who’s going to go get the football?

TLDR; "Both sides," which - and this is the most important outcome of that approach -- justifies and excuses every. single. thing. the current admin does. I can be plenty critical of the prior administration, of every admin we've ever had, on any number of issues. I've never claimed that Biden's record on immigration was a smashing success, but I also know that 1) the "let in massive amounts of fentanyl" is a lie (almost all fentanyl comes in at actual ports of entry (not sneaking across the river and whatnot), most of it has historically come from China, and most of the smugglers of fentanyl at land ports are . . . US citizens). I also know that the Biden admin and Dem allies actually worked to pass meaningful legislation on the issue.....which Trump and his toadies purposefully killed to keep the issue alive to campaign on. And I also know that the language and purpose behind "ZOMG immigration is the debil!" has next to nothing to do with fentanyl or humanitarian issues or ANYTHING but "purifying the blood of our country," and I also know that it has next to nothing to do with "just do it the right way and don't break the law, this is just about ILLEGAL immigration" because 1) they have blown right past that and are arresting people who are following the law to the letter (e.g., showing up at their immigration hearings), 2) they are YANKING legal status away from hundreds of thousands of people who are presently here legally, and 3) they are flat-out banning birthright citizenship. Come on. It's a racist, xenophobic movement. It uses "drugs and crime" as the thinnest of veneers. What it is, all the way through, is nativist, xenophobic bullshit, and you've bought into it because you AGREE WITH IT. -

They took the field in the first practice as the starting duo. Hence them being referenced as much. In reality, everyone gets too focused on who starts at too many positions. QB? Okay, sure. WR or OL? Fine. LB? yeah. But at positions where we know they rotate a ton of guys equally, such as RB, Safety and DL, it doesn't really matter. -
