  1. Past hour
  2. Nightmares for a kid to witness that! Hook’em!!!
  3. I don’t even get how shit like that get approved by the sec. Do they not even look at who the crew is? Are baseball crews independent organizations that the sec uses or just β€œsec baseball crews” that work strictly sec games only? Genuinely asking as I have no clue.
  4. Better than β€œDirt Dog” I suppose.

  6. No. Because both moves aren’t overreactions they are just doing something that needs to be done. The best day to do something that needs to be done is today.
  7. Weird way to try to become a superhero.
  8. The USL is adding promotion and relegation in two years. In addition, they are going to the proper soccer calendar of AUG-MAY. The USL final already drew better TV ratings than the MLS final. You can buy in to the semi-pro USL League 2 for $75,000 and work your way up to top flight soccer. With a $500M buy in to MLS, no owner wants to risk relegation. MLS will continue to try and fit a square NFL peg in an international soccer round hole and get left in the dust. Eric Wynalda has some good podcasts on it if you want a deep dive into the topic. They’re also on the Golz TV YouTube channel.
  9. Thanks, y'all! Someone mentioned Recoleta: that's where we're staying. Got a pretty good deal on an apartment right there near a ton of stuff. And I like the Uruguay day trip idea a lot.
  10. Try standing on one leg with the other elevated when you weigh 300+ MFer. I’d have body tremors doing it sober at 220. Hook’em!!!

Nothing is passed yet, SB3 has been largely subbed to a new bill that is different, in reading the substitute bill a few things: No Synthetics - I am ok with this, the Delta 8 and all the other weird synthetics we really don’t understand those. No Vapes - I personally don’t care, but this is causing a lot of angst in the community. No Flower - this is the big one, they are changing the way to calculate THC to AFTER decarb, this β€œfixes” the Fam Bill loophole that is allowing flower sales today. Edibles and Drinks - OK, however at least the drink portion (and maybe the edible) moves to control by TABC. We all know what a shit organization that is. This bill will likely be voted on house floor in the next two weeks, since it is a substitute bill it will need to go back to the senate for a vote or a conference committee. It is May 3rd now, session ends June 2nd, but realistically they have roughly 3 weeks left to get this passed both houses due to deadlines. Hopefully they run out of time….
  12. On the ground for JazzFest. Did my family’s traditional β€œon the way into town from the airport” stop and picked up Bahn Mi Boys for dinner last night. Yes it’s attached to a gas station. And yes it’s worth a stop. Posting this morning for Molly’s Rise and Shine.
  13. RFK is looking to add him to the team at Health and Human Services.
  14. Surprisingly low given the amount of alcohol consumed by your typical weekend hacker. According to Google AI, about 600 deaths and 15,000 injuries per year. Okay, I guess not low after all.
  15. They have a secret menu, so you may still be able to order it.
  16. Like when we used to get officials from college station and west Texas, back in the Big 12 days
  17. I don't know how many years it's been, but we've been on these Texas boards together forever. Feels like you were practically in HS when we first interacted. Hearing that you're married and a dad makes me happy, man. Congrats and 🀘.
  18. SEC ump committee: So, who we got for home plate in Fayettenam for Texas? Oh, the guy that grew up in Bentonville? Sounds good.
  19. Excuse you, sir? If a thoughtful pair of parents want to name their son after a legend with a career OPS of .828 and a leader of the breakers of Babe Ruth’s curse, who are we to question that?
  20. Probably short, and now bouncing backwards.
  21. You know what we need? An athletic big. Maybe two. Question is if you move someone like Reeves for the above, could Dalton Knecht be 70% as good as Reaves
  22. Every coach has different criteria and the details are kept secret. But big plays are always a part of it. I’m sure every TD gets a leaf. Every forced fumble or interception, every sack, every long run or completed pass (maybe 15 or 20 yds or more? I don’t know). They grade each player’s performance after each game so they’re probably also tied to their grade. I know Tressel gave out leaves to the whole team for some things. Everyone probably got one for every win including scout team players. I think I recall hearing about nobody getting a leaf after some particularly bad loss. Can’t recall when that was. (Maybe under Meyer?) I heard Buckeye fans commenting that helmets at the start of the postseason weren’t as full of stickers as usual and there was speculation that they were being awarded more sparingly to allow for a longer slate of games but that seems kind of fanciful. I didn’t pay that much attention to it.
