  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah, but he's less a songwriter than a virtuoso. Which also has its place. But c'mon, Broke Down South of Dallas and Highway Patrol are just plain fun.
  3. Never watched a single episode during its original run. I have now seen every episode at least 10 times. It's great comfort TV. The entire cast is fantastic.
  4. It’s a good shot of Irvin getting caught from behind, no doubt.
  5. It's actually both, which is why this discussion is nauseating.
  6. 1 lb compound her butter (salt, pepper, cayenne, rosemary, sage, and thyme) ready to go for the turkey tomorrow.
  7. Yep. Friend of mine was nuclear power engineer at Bechtel for many years. Recently sold the little house in Palo Alto that he paid $12,000 for back in 70s, got $1,200,000 for it. He's happily retired in what he called"horse country" (wherever that is)...
  8. it matters when you are trying to justify a team with more losses being in over teams with less losses

  10. Yeah, it’s dumb fucking hand wringing. Style points are only going to matter if your SOS is dogshit
  11. ⚾️ Immaculate Grid 969 9/9: Rarity: 34 IMMACULATE! 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 Play at: https://www.sports-reference.com/immaculate-grid/play
  12. It's gonna be funny if Golesh brings Rock Em Sock Em to his Arkansas staff
  13. the chant does not matter; I just want to hear one coming from Longhorn fans as the gun sounds.
  14. It's a stupid self-own chant even when your team doesn't start off as pre-season #1. Oh, you the team you beat isn't as good as everyone thought? Good for you, I guess? "poor aggies" is the only acceptable chant on Friday.
  15. Fired up Ol’ Bessie and got to makin roll dough and pie crust today. She’s older than I am, barely, yet still kickin.
  16. There wasn't a lot of time for Jones in 2 & 3. It starts with the arrival of an incredibly young Troy Aikman and a lot of Michael Irving. They touch on a very difficult first year and then it was a fucking rocket ride with the Niners, the team that won 4 SBs in the 80s, standing in the way. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll just say that they handle a few things that we've all seen before in such a unique way that it's like you're seeing it for the first time. And again, the archive footage has been remastered or something, because the images are eye opening. Almost everything Michael Irvin does is a hoot - the guy is so animated. There's a thing between him and Harper that I'll bet will totally surprise you. Hard to believe we didn't know about this big game incident. They do a good job for setting the stage for some big moments and some big plays, that you likely won't remember what happened until you see them again. Check out Irvin carrying the ball with one hand.
  17. It is too bad they didn’t go full hillbilly and make Petrino full time HFC. That would’ve been great for the rest of CFB fan bases.
  18. Thanks. I forgot their second loss was out of conference.
  19. As someone who travels internationally on the reg, I'm now concerned about a "fuck the Americans" tax being applied in those places. I suppose it's a double win for the admin - keep people like me from getting exposed to dangerous outside ideas by making it economically disadvantageous to travel and keeping out them danged furriners.
  20. SAPD’s vehicle burglary data from the first half of 2025. The Rim proudly retains the top spot, doubling the closest competitor.
  21. You left out Ethan Allen and a whole buncha lower leaders. Israel Putnam. Google him. I heard a historian once say the only way SO many great men were put in one place, at the same time, with the say goal was because of divine intervention. You don't accumulate that much talent by chance.
  22. Who has bama in the SEC championship?
