  2. If this happened in Austin the perp would be released overnight to do it 6 more times.
  3. Bumping this thread to bring back the convo for 2025. I’d give the award to Broughton for 2024 (see my pre-season post upthread for why) This year’s candidates are: - Will Stone. Yeah he’s been our kickoff specialist, but if Shipley gets injured and he hits some big kicks in postseason play, he could become a legend and fit the spirit of the award - Connor Robertson. He played significant snaps once against OU as a RS freshman. He’s pretty much been forgotten about since, so he’s a good candidate, but likely only gets his chance in the case of injuries - Neto Umeozulu. The overwhelming favorite. Despite the many calls for him to replace Hayden Conner, Neto has barely played and not looked particularly good in the limited action we’ve seen. Frankly, he might be the biggest question mark of all projected starters currently (which is not nearly the negative it was a few years ago). A good year for Texas likely means Neto gets to take home this illustrious award The current group of transfers are non-starters in my eyes. Campbell, Hutson, Taaffe, Guilbeau, and Burke have played too much and too well to be eligible. The rest of the 2022 class is either in a NFL training camp or transferred out.
  4. This state needs to stop pandering to the olds. Pull your own weight, deadbeats.
  5. Perhaps not coincidentally, 320’s are a “hot deal” at Academy right now.
  6. The fourth kind and zodiac made me check for lock doors for a while like I still do it to this day
  7. There is no meaningful difference between Houston metro and DFW. Zero. Fewer hurricanes in DFW, fewer ice storms in Houston.
  8. Ol' number 2. Damn shame we didn't get him.
  9. My 15 minutes of wiki med school says removal is usually done when the cancer has penetrated the bladder muscle.
  10. Saw him at the Erwin Center years ago…..best concert I have ever seen.
  11. According to the article the lawsuit addresses this. Meta's ip addresses were downloading a huge amount of data - ebooks, music, software, etc -- that doesn't match the use pattern of an individual.
  12. Not a minority opinion, hotels (with rewards/points) are and will always be superior to airbnb, no matter what Ryan Trahan is trying to get us to believe.
  13. That's what I'm saying. The timing of when guys are coming back is bad. They'll all be back after the deadline, so we don't have any information on how all these guys are going to do post-injury. I'm saying if we had more information then the decision whether or not to trade Framber would be an easier one. The injuries have finally caught up with us. You can't play a lineup of half AAA guys and expect to win long term. We're lucky to be where we are. We just gotta hope that when our guys get back they can win like they had been.
  14. Decided to keep the third stomach unrestricted, did he?
  15. Nope. They’ll consult a new round of polling that tells them moving further right, yet again, is the answer. They’ll be Dems arguing for their own Camp X-rays, where they’ll facilitate a more humane kidnapping of brown people, even allowing for a few citizens caught in the net, because that’s where the persuadable voters are.
  16. suck it you dfw nut lickers ....
  17. They are probably our two starters at DT week one.
  18. Very entertaining race as was the Xfinity race the day before. Really glad to see Bubba win but I was holding my breath on that last lap. Evidently he had enough fuel to do a nice burnout as well.
  19. Nice troll. Almost worked.
  20. Thank you for finally acknowledging my elite athleticism.
  21. Started binging Bosch after watching Ballard, just started season 4. It is a really enjoyable show. I keep waiting for Nina Meyers to go double agent (like she did in 24).
  22. Should name the first hurricane "Leopard".
