I can remember seeing Peyton do it as well. Not sure if it was later in his career though when his neck/arm started to bother him.

Do you FIRE? Financial Independence, Retire Early

Guess that's a good thing for you and her other heirs if she basically withdraws low amounts from a net standpoint. I find it sad though that someone perhaps sacrificed along the way, and does very little with those savings. Who knows, maybe peace of mind is worth it to some. I'm not a YOLO person at all but now in my mid-50s there are experiences or purchases that I wouldn't do now that I might have in my 20s. I would have to guess that the same will occur when I'm in my 70s and looking back on my mid-50s. Nothing wrong with living life now, if you can. -

Don't we all? The longer they go without sharing details, the more you can be sure what they want to do is a bunch of crap.

Hello everyone! My nonprofit is sending a kiddo and his mom to the SJSU game. The student has a mobility impairment and will be using a chair here and there. We are looking for 2 students that need service hours to help mom and push the chair around/hangout and ensure he has the best time possible pre-game. Family will be arriving at 8am to swap their ticket for an ADA one. If you know someone interested, send me a message so we can work out logistics! Link to student going finding out that he is going-

I’m a bit of a weirdo in that I prefer Europe in the winter. A lot less crowded and I kind of like the change of pace on the weather since we don’t really get winter weather in Houston. We were in Copenhagen a couple of years ago during winter and we loved it. We would sit outside the hotel at their cafe tables and split a bottle of wine every evening. Just grab a blanket and they had heaters.

Does anyone have experience/thoughts on the 3.0 Duramax? Opinions online vary wildly with a lot of people talking shit about an oil pump belt that has to be replaced around 200k miles. I'm looking at Yukon XLs and the mileage on the newer models has fallen off quite a bit from what I get in my '18 6.2. The Duramax option is intriguing to me for the additional range, but I've never owned a diesel before.

SEC 2025: Never invite a vampire into your home
Mitch Cumsteen replied to Mitch Cumsteen's topic in Football
To summarize week 1: Bama looks like ass. LSU looks to have found a defense. Tennessee looks to have won the QB trade with UCLA Scar looks to be at the very least, competent. Auburn is either pretty decent or Baylor sucks ass. Or potentially both. Everybody else played an exhibition game. Other than OU/Michigan, the slate looks pretty blah for week 2. Ole Miss has a revenge game against Kentucky in the only conference game on the schedule. ASU vs. MSU could be interesting as could Mizzou vs. Kansas. Maybe Vandy and Virginia Tech? The rest? Woof. -

That Knowledge Fight episode is gonna be the tits.

That would have been a tough catch, even without the DB draped all over him. And the DB was draped all over him. Although our DBs had been playing Smith pretty physically all game, so I don't mind the no-call. To me, Livingstone was a pleasant surprise and a genuine asset. Putting the memes and jokes aside, he looked more athletic than I expected.

What the fuck is wrong with you, Houston? Non-CR thread
Nice Guy Eddie replied to crash_davis's topic in Daily Texan
I've lived in the same Houston neighborhood for ~20 years. There's been one murder here over that time. It was a mentally ill/challenged young adult who murdered his grandfather and by all accounts didn't understand what he was doing. Just around the corner from me. I wouldn't wanted to shoot the murderer if he was banging on my door but not sure I would want to wait until he was inside of my house to act. At some point even someone unaware, of their actions, may face consequences of them. It can both be a tragedy and justifiable, at least in Texas.
