  1. Past hour
  2. I'll take this opportunity to answer the question posed in the thread title: Baylor is full of people who support state-sponsored rape. They all suck and enough bad things can't happen to them.
  3. The really frustrating thing about last election is 2024 Trump wasn't 2016 Trump or even 2020 Trump. His vibes were off. He was incredibly low energy and so fucking sedated so they could keep him appearing sane that he just fucking blipped out at a rally and stood around for like 45 minutes. His crowds were much smaller and it was clear that he'd lost his fastball. He was actually an effective political candidate in 2016. He wasn't in 2024, but the Dems still blew it.
  4. Which do you believe is more likely, that the 2024 election was rigged or that the Trump assassination was staged?
  5. A little piece of shrapnel or the zing of the bullet just missing? It wasn't a bullet that hit him because his fucking ear is perfectly fine. Ear cartilage does not grow back and there's no evidence of any stitching having been done.
  6. For a lot of reasons, but I think the there are two main ones: 1) There is no common history, cultural or ethnic background between groups of Hispanics. Most have a Spanish derived last name and know some Spanish, but many don’t even have that. “Hispanic” is a description of a group that isn’t a group. 2) To the extent there is a common thread, it is that a large number are in the United States because an ancestor wanted what what white Americans have - land and opportunity. Hispanics have a lot more in common with Irish Americans than they do with American blacks, and are following a similar pattern. I don’t agree. Lots of extremely decent people support Trump. They are just trapped in a feedback loop of community and propaganda that is very difficult to penetrate.
  7. I watched it live and couldn't believe what I was seeing. Seconds after bullets were being sprayed across the stage, they had him right back up in the exact same spot. The only argument I've heard there is that he was a 78 year-old man and they needed him upright to get him off the stage. But it makes no sense to immediately prop him up like that, and then just kind of hang out there until the cameras are ready.
  8. When a dude averages 6.2 yards per carry on almost 200 carries, you cannot argue the production. Yes, that one year Ricky averaged more than that. Yet a year later, he averaged less. I do not believe Ricky was less of a player as a senior than a junior. I would argue that when you have a substantial number of carries and get about 6 yards per that any coaching decision is justifiable. It was not about Ricky’s ability. It’s about consistency within that ability. And in virtually every sport and every level, endurance and season long longevity are questions for freshmen/rookies. Ricky showed up. We had a TB. We didn’t have a fullback. The TB showed to be productive. How much was Ricky a true FB? The split backfield is relevant here for multiple reasons. Combining those factors and uncertainty as to whether he was ready for 250 carries is legitimate. Even if you think Ricky was infinitely better than Mitchell, the question remains was that pairing better than any other pairing? You are arguing against Mackovic getting the best players on the field even if not in their ideal spots.
  9. 61 year old multi-millionaire successful NFL head coach, who brought a national title back to his alma mater and will die a legend in Ann Arbor, won't be able to come back to college football, and neither will his gopher who no one was looking to hire anyway and is currently a HS OC.
  10. "A hiker died after a rattlesnake bit his hand when he picked up the reptile while on a trail in south-central Tennessee, local officials said." Darwin candidate.
  11. It's actually germane to this thread insofar as the "seed oil" drama is being brought by RFK Jr and his acolytes.
  12. Ok, there's a whole board for food stuff where you guys can argue about cooking oil for the rest of your lives.
  13. Assuming no setbacks, I expect CJ to play early and be a workhorse. Sark loves him.
  14. Ordinarily, I would agree with this. But Trump has no scar on his ear. And the Secret Service would never, ever, in a million years put him back into the line of fire like that. Believing the official story requires an awful lot of assumptions, so you can put Occam's Razor away. Whichever version is true is ridiculous and unbelievable. But in a real shooting, the one thing that is 100% predictable is the Secret Service's response. And that is not what we got.
  15. Yep, tis the risk. Some of that is mitigated by inside screens attacking where the defense "should" have stayed home. On this particular play, there's a gif that shows the RB hits offtackle to the right side of the offense and middle pressure is never a factor. Just like any other offense, if the defense did achieve said pressure, yeah, the play is getting blown up. Edit: found it.
  16. Just saw some old asshole in the phoenix airport wearing an alligator Alcatraz shirt.
  17. Does a bear shit in the woods, Ian? Fuck yeah!
  18. I guess dog chiropractors are a thing. Love that most dogs are like, "the fuck just happened?" Which begs the question, how do you know if your dog needs to be adjusted?
  19. Thing is, he grabbed that ear before he went down.

  21. I’m with you. Miss us on this one.
  22. True, but some stupidity has a much higher chance of collateral damage in the fix.
