QB1 Arch Manning: "maybe the concussion helped"
BurntOrange&White replied to LTtxfan's topic in Football
Thanks Sark for doing what we said you should have done a month ago once your back was against the wall. -
I’m sorry if your stepmother is a nympho

Is she just trolling herself or something? I don't get what she's all fired up about - is it a lack of attention?

Did the crew survive?

I personally think they should either shit or get off the pot personally. Having millions of non-represented people as part of our Union is frankly embarrasing. Same with the other inhabited territories (or commonwealth or whatever the fuck their technical legal status is). Being a territory was never supposed to be a permanent status. Except for DC but...that was a special case. So either go be your own country or join ours. But pretty far down the list of priorities. Yes. I am aware. They have technically voted to join the Union a few times, with the caveats that you just stated. However, unless Congress votes to admit them it doesn't matter and I don't see Congress doing that any time soon, even if PR was 100% for becoming a state.

Oral argument is ongoing and the prognasticators have done their thing. Looks like trump tariffs are going down.

Austin Memorial Park is where Scott's family is buried, so I would think that is the reason and St. John's United Methodist Church is their church. Scott and Jon Bible as well were Assistant Attorney Generals, so they might have met requirements for being buried at the State Cemetery.

OL was not bad last year. This is just wrong. Little banged up late at Tackle, but you cannot compare last year's OL to this years. Pass blocking is just another level. Sark has moved to a progression quick passing game and Manning is very good at that. We have seen a lot less of the immediate pressure the last 5 quarters, but they are no where near as good as the OL last year (Baker is really trending up, I dont think people are giving him credit). Its the reason people are coming out saying Arch now looks like what they expected.

Government Shutdown 2025: This Time It’s Personal

Just divide it up 340,000,000 ways and pass it out -
You’re fucking awesome dude, wish I lived in Austin. San Antonio is too far to drive shitfaced, too expensive for Uber.

The various PR statehood / commonwealth / independence plebiscites have generally been boycotted or deemed unrepresentative by one faction or another. It's far from a sure thing, should a binding referendum be held, that statehood would even be desired. (see also Ghost's comment above)

Drew is one of my really good childhood friends. https://alcalde.texasexes.org/2025/10/meet-the-longhorn-family-behind-a-disabilities-first-bakery-in-san-antonio?fbclid=IwY2xjawN4a55leHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEeGIWg0EQxN6evNjGfWlXcQF39XHiV1zoCkmMzumzM0zd7GeREjHA1LH588F8_aem_2dl0_wpvmwCnL4QdjdI6oA The Meyers knew their daughter Leah was destined for baking when she was just 4 years old. One night, after waking to some commotion downstairs, they found her sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor, cracking eggs, and having the time of her life. When they asked her what she was doing, Leah cheerfully exclaimed, “Making cookies!” Leah, who was born with Down syndrome, eventually channeled that early love of baking into her dream job. Now in her 20s, she serves as the creative force behind the Mermaid Café, a gluten-free bakery and coffee shop in San Antonio that employs people with disabilities. Leah’s parents, Karen Krumrey Meyer, BS ’93, and Drew Meyer, BS ’95, co-own the café, and they each play a pivotal role in helping Leah channel her culinary talent and generous spirit into a thriving family business. https://themermaid.cafe/

My new stonk is OPTT. Let’s see if I can get my Rare earth losses back.
-
How many holds did they call on Texas? Box score just says 6 penalties for 50 yards. Yes I know it was a SEC crew.
-
that was a different issue. barring crazy upsets in the Big 12, the Big 12 is getting 2, ACC 1, and then G5. B1G, ND, and SEC fighting over 8 spots. ND losing would be nice(water is wet)

I live in Arapahoe but very close to DougCo border. It’s been turning steadily D for years now.

2 unseasonably warm days ahead this weekend before a fairly robust cold front blows through Sunday. High 80's, possibly even hitting 90 on Friday and Saturday.

Puerto Rico has held seven nonbinding referendums on its status, and statehood has received the majority of the votes in the last four. However, I don't think keeping the status quo was included as an option in any of those four.

Jimmy Johnson cut Curvin Richards from the sideline right after he fumbled for the second time in a game.

if a blind person had the broadcast on they wouldn’t have even known that Texas was in the building. the entire broadcast was dedicated to all things duke.
