  2. Ever notice all those Chinese sellers on Amazon with weird-ass names? Well the Amazon Brand Registry is encouraging them. You have to have a registered or applied-for US Trademark Registration to put yourself on the Brand Registry. Heretofore, I thought that was only an issue of removing counterfeit/infringing products from Amazon. But, listing in the Brand Registry also helps search positioning. This I did not know. So those little Chinese and other sellers are flooding the USPTO with trademark applications so they can get on the Brand Registry. https://www.nyu.edu/about/news-publications/news/2025/july/how-amazon-is-changing-the-us-trademark-system.html There was a rash of Chinese bogus filings during Covid that may or may not have related to this (it appears that it did as this article is lagging the phenomenon pretty significantly). It's easier to register a complete nonsense word than something that more resembles what we think of as a trademark. Fuckin Amazon.
  3. I mean I can’t imagine why you’d watch that over NBA summer league or MLS but go off.
  4. Shocking to see 2 of the biggest problem posters on this topic immediately object.
  5. And it's going to get worse. Fong hinted that we are gaining steam with Kreul.
  6. This week, Bill O'Reilly was going off on News Nation on how the Biden Administration failed to fully prosecute and punish Epstein. The show host had to inform O'Reilly that Epstein committed suicide 18 months before Biden took office. O'Reilly eventually agreed he was wrong on the dates. However in turn he did not move his furor to the 1st Trump administration.

    Emmy 2025

Paradise didn't feel like a prestige show, but Marsden was absolutely Emmy worthy, and episode 7 (The Day) was the best episode of TV I've seen this year.
  8. He shared a tweet that was extremely obscure and posted it. That's how it became as public as it did. He then makes the entire post about him and how Angel Reese and her people were threatening him. Then lies about Reese's people calling him and saying she hates Caitlin Clark. RG3 is a grade A cornball and always has been. He shared a picture of comparing Reese to A monkey on purpose. People called him out on that right away. Reese's camp came out and said no way in hell they would ever call him. He's stirring the pot because he hates Reese and loves Caitlin Clark. Shaq punching him in the face would be lovely.
  9. Just like when guys have a misunderstanding with the mafia and stab themselves in the back 14 times.
  10. Well, maybe they’re going back to learn how to read contracts?
  11. Somebody please clarify: the Steele Dossier, which was funded and weaponized by Hillary Clinton, was "fake" and "fully discredited"?
  12. How much will he try to steal from this one?
  13. Mackinac Island in Michigan or Sea Island in Georgia
  14. The marching orders have been sent out. Let's see if the lemmings fall in line as usual. If the base no longer cares about it then it's another masterful pivot and he really can do nothing wrong in their eyes.
  15. He seems to have learned a new word in the past weekend. Bullshit. So presidential.
  16. I would say the vast majority aren’t religious but I haven’t asked. This is my second one. You meet people that have done several.
  17. Freeman will be 23 in November, very likely a key factor in his decision. Larson (above) seems to be an upgrade.
  18. Been doing the Camino Norte for a couple of weeks. Lots of mountains and beautiful beaches. More in the groove now than I was when I started. Festival of San Fermin was going on for a bit. Was kind of cool walking into cafes in the morning and a bunch of folks in there watching on the tv.
  19. Just cussing left and right I see
  20. The leverage play by Hughes/Edwards here is fascinating. If Isak is committed to a possible extension, then I see no reason for them to entertain us & they’d be fine to let us end up with Ekitike. If Isak is not committed long-term and has wandering eyes for clubs with larger ambitions, then I feel like the rational thing to do is sell Isak at his peak value now and then sign up Ekitike to a 6-7 year deal as his replacement? Isak’s value is only going to depreciate in the next 1-2 years as it comes due… The only risk that we’re taking here is that Ekitike feels spurned that we’re clearly publicly announcing him as a second fiddle priority. But if it comes down to us vs. Newcastle for his signature, I’m hard-pressed to believe he wouldn’t want to sign up to play for the PL Champions as their first-team striker with Wirtz and Salah feeding him…the alternative is being second striker to Isak.
  21. 🍿 Releasing in 3 parts over 5 weeks is a hell of a choice, but it'll work because this is A+ IP.
