Texas Recruiting Notes 2027: I remember watching his dad play

The bugs in his brain -
Fair points. I have no real idea of Yordan's current market value; I only know he's elite when healthy. So let's keep him if there's reason to believe he'll get at least 400 ABs a season from here on out. That sounds like a pretty low bar for an MLB slugger to jump. Unfortunately, recent history offers no strong support of him getting all those ABs. And that brings me to one of the things I feel is most critical to solve this off-season: obstacles to team health. No player on earth can help when out of the lineup. To have a real chance at a title next season (or any other), this organization must address the question of whether it's doing everything possible to keep guys healthy. I suspect doing so would necessitate some personnel changes in that department, but maybe they're all smart people who've been forced to follow bad orders. Perhaps one of you knows for sure.

With a quick google, thats the difference of about 12 bucks.

Hopefully, this is an Abbott story that has legs.

If your plan is to buy & hold, you’ll be just fine. There’s still a decent possibility the gov’t takes a stake in UUUU because of the company’s bidness in rare earths and uranium. With this morning’s dip, I bought 1700 more shares of UURAF at $4.04. Hoping for a pullback to $3.25, but am not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Could this be the craziest coaching carousel of all time?
Mr. Drummond replied to GreenspointTexas's topic in Football
All it would take is one walton grandkid to care about football. The family gives alot to the university, just so far they dont care about football. However the Kroenke side of the family own the Rams, avalanche and nuggets. So maybe that side of the family could/would but as stated above they can't NIL and own an NFL team. Oh and another side owns the broncos, i forgot lol They rich. -
To be fair the president of the united states was there and there was within the last 18 months an attempted assassination on him.

I don't think anyone should view top brass' attendance at that event as implying even tacit approval. They received travelling orders and they followed them. It's in the job description.

Well Walmart has been around as long as I can remember, so when exactly are they planning on doing that? After they get through buying up all the pro sports teams? -

You do realize that if just 1 family decided to turn on a switch and fully invest in Arkansas football they could outspend literally everyone. -

I had a dream last night it was midway thru the 3rd and Florida was winning 13-0 and had the ball at about the 50. Oddly specific for a dream, hope I'm not a psychic. -
I don't get the Espada hate. What did he do that was so bad? The only reason we missed the playoffs this year is injuries. The Astros got hit with injuries worse than any other team. I read somewhere it took out like 17.5 WAR. Even with just "normal" injury levels, we should have won five more games and won the division. Beyond injuries, you had Altuve declining, Walker (hopefully) having a bad year and Meyers and Pena having really good years. This is still a playoff team. I don't think you have to do much; certainly nothing radical. Trading our best players would be dumb. We need to add a #3 SP and then stay healthy.

That snare drummer that Hegseth hit with the axe wasn't just any old schlub. That was Jeff Prosperie, probably the greatest snare drummer in the last few decades if not longer. He won the solo competitions at DCI, DCA, and PAS, and did his masters and doctoral work at University of North Texas, where he taught the drumline. He also taught Phantom Regiment's drumline for years. Nice choice of targets, Hegseth. (By the way, Prosperie is suing FOX News over the incident.)
