Based on current evidence, we don’t know one way or the other. Moore definitely seems like the kind of guy that would abuse his position. We haven’t heard from her (nor are we likely to) so it’s hard to say. There are women who are attracted to positions of power or see a dipshit who fell into it (see NBA). Both seem common enough nowadays it would be hard to take a position. Theres a third possibility here though that’s new to me though. It’s the ….”i cannot let anyone know I was fu king a guy dumb enough to try to kill himself with butter knives cover up.” Could be stidied at UM law school for years to come.

I'm no rules expert, but didn't we learn last year (from the Arch TD against aggy) that the goal line extends into infinity and the ball doesn't have to cross inside the pylon? He isn't actually out of bounds until his elbow hits past the broad white border. At that point the ball is well over the theoretical goal line.

The alleged lie is that she stated it would be a "secondary home." https://www.cbsnews.com/newyork/news/read-full-letitia-james-indictment-charges/ But, that doesn't have some plain meaning, rather it has what seem to be FNMA conditions attached to it. And those conditions changed right before she signed. https://selling-guide.fanniemae.com/sel/b2-1.1-01/occupancy-types One of the key factors seems to be whether it becomes or is a rental property, but that's ok too under certain circumstances. In any event, the definition is not so clear that it can be said that she intended to deceive at the time she signed it.

Nah nah you don't need to wish, dealing with the 1 tone deaf OKC fan here is enough as it is. we don't need the cool, edgy one here too.

I fail to see how the AD keeps his job. But clearly there is a level of corruption that seems to span past the AD. In my rather small view, it’s what happens when you have a scandal (cheating on the field) and those around it close ranks for the purposes of winning. I have no idea what this Chicago Law Firm they have retained will find but I can see a couple of people being removed from their jobs here. It started when they either were complicit or didn’t give a fuck about the cheating scandal and kept many of the people involved. Like let’s keep this in house. You reap what you sow. Did they know Moore would go batshit? Probably not figuring his job mattered more to Moore than a piece or pieces of ass. He clearly didn’t have reverence for the position he was entrusted with but the people who gave him that role are corrupt too. I expect to see some firings.

Stephen Miller is outed as a White Nationalist (shocking, isn't it?)

Going to see Echo and the Bunnymen in May. It will be my ~6th time to see them. Most recently, in 2022, I saw them at ACL LIve (missed them in 2024 - traveling). As always, the music was spot on. Ian McCulloch's voice struggled at times. At one point, he surprisingly left the stage. Guitarist Will Sargent looks bemused and proceeds to lead a 10-15 minute jam session. McCulloch comes back on stage, mentions his back hurt and went off stage to get a quick massage. I am glad I got to see a show early in their tour, as I feared he'd wear out. Cautiously optimistic, but I cannot resist the nostalgia.

Along with the rare Barnes bad game, Dylan looked like a rookie for maybe the 2nd time this year. He put himself in bad spots and had some turnovers and missed shots. OKC did a pretty good job cutting off his drives. -

I'm not even clear what she did. If she were renting the property out, I'd kind of understand. By all accounts, it is a second home that she is letting a family member use. I think there are a lot of second home owners that have done the same.

Which brings me to the firing. It has been reported that the AD fired Moore all by himself. No one else was present. Doesn't that seem a little...strange? You have an incendiary-level situation here and you don't have a university lawyer, HR rep, or a president in the room? Moore was fired for cause and the university trashed the fuck out of him in their press release, just as UT did with Beard. Yet, they don't have a highly-trained person from the law firm that is handling the investigation or the head of HR in the room just to cover themselves? It honestly reminds me a little of Frederich Fromm, the poor German general who was loosely tied up in the plot to kill Hitler. Once he caught the conspirators, he had them all quickly shot, so they couldn't tell anyone about his involvement. (it ultimately didn't save him, as the Nazis figured out he was covering his tracks and shot him, too) Why did the AD need to have his conversation with Moore as private as possible? Thoughts?
