Co sign on South Carolina. Gamecock fans are a really good hang. So are Clemson fans, actually. Good state for tailgating. They relegate their worst rednecks to Coastal I guess -
You would be better off keeping the dogs and tv in the bedroom and putting the wife and your $16k Ferrari bed in the detached guest house

Looks like a good one. Let me know when it comes out on Kindle!

Pizza Hut has been a string of bad decisions for 20+ years. The only good decision I can recall is bringing back the old logo and a few Pizza Hut Classic locations. It always amazes me that these companies can't help but destroy what makes them successful.

Quoting this for Nostradamus level predictability. This one is "get the popcorn" worthy...

Negative Recruiting Your Own School: The aggy Screenshot Megathread
SimkinsMan replied to texifornia's topic in 🤫$9.95🤫
It really is. Aggy has a decent to good OL with experience, a nice RB (if healthy), some good wide receivers, and an average to good defense. It comes down to Reed. If he has taken a step forward as a passer, his ability to run really elevates the offense. If he's the same QB, then he has serious deficiencies that can be exploited by a defense that can cover WRs and get up field. What we've seen so far from very limited exposure to their fall camp is that Reed has not advanced much as a passer. If that's the case they probably are an 8-4 or 7-5 team again. -
How was the play Mrs. Lincoln?

Is Brandon baker not working at RT? This entire freshman class is straight legit dogs. -
I bought a brand new Honda last Thanksgiving in anticipation of tariff fuckery. So glad that's one less thing to worry about when it comes to getting to MDA on the reg. Cant afford Vonline for every visit.

There is also a feature-length documentary in production based on Michael Benson’s book Gangsters vs. Nazis: How Jewish Mobsters Battled Nazis in Wartime America. Myer Lansky and Jewish Mafia were recruited by NY judge Nathan Perlman to disrupt Bund rallies. Apparently unofficially sanctioned by some big time NY politicians. Perlman told them no guns and don’t kill them just beat the shit out of them. They did so mostly using baseball bats.

I absolutely am regretting asking this as I type it. How was the food? Because I sure as shit (pun intended) didn't get an idea about that from your post.

I have been on every anti-depressant medication available over the last 20 years, including a half dozen or more off-label prescriptions and countless unsubstantiated supplements. None of them worked. A few years ago I saw a dramatic improvement in my depression and suicidal ideation. I’m not 100% sure what changed. It could’ve just been luck or my body changing as I transitioned into middle age. But here are the things I am pretty sure actually helped: I started focusing on my sleep. Going to bed earlier, eliminating sleep distractions, prioritizing sleep above all else. This is probably the easiest change to make even if you’re in the depths of severe depression. I started making sure I got outside more often. Sunlight and fresh air and nature help me feel better and think less about how much life sucks and not thinking I should probably kill myself. Getting outside is a little difficult if you’re really in the depths. I started exercising more. Along with better sleep hygiene, this is the thing that helped the most and is most backed by science. Again, this is difficult if you’re in severe depression. I started practicing gratitude. Literally as little as 10 seconds per day of stopping and having the conscious thought that there are things in your life to be thankful for and appreciate. Also difficult to do when you’re depressed. I started drinking less alcohol and (trying to) eat healthier. Supplements that I think have helped me feel better are fish oil and creatine. Foods high in fiber and good fats make me feel good. Finally, I think having kids has dramatically reduced my depression. They don’t call them bundles of joy for nothing, and they’ve given me a sense of purpose that wasn’t there before. I have had frequent bouts of suicidal ideation since I was a little kid. Throughout my entire 20s and most of my 30s, they were very intense and happened every day, most of the time multiple times per day. For as much as the thought of killing myself has occupied my mind throughout my life, I consider it a miracle I am alive. I am not exactly sure why I have suffered with that, I am certain at least part of it is genetic; I have a pretty obsessive and negative personality. But I think other factors from my childhood contributed (heavy on guilt-ridden Catholicism, parents who employed “tough love” as a first line philosophy). Anyway, what you described aligns with my experience. Eventually, rather than classifying as an outsider (which seems like a pretty effective way to deal) I eventually just convinced myself that after this many years of thinking about suicide and not doing it, it was just a waste of time. The last few years have been the best of my adult life. I consider myself an example of someone who has largely beaten depression. I still have times where I feel depressed and even suicidal (the last few weeks have been particularly rough), but nowhere near the intensity and frequency as the previous 20 years, and I feel like I have a lot better tools and strategy to deal with it. When I was really, really depressed, it seemed certain to me that I would never ever get to a better place, but I’m here to tell people that I’m proof it can get better.
