You ever follow something/read something long enough to where you become concerned that they might actually be correct and you've been wrong this whole time? Well, credit to Tarp, he's made me question myself on some level. Either he's just completely fucking delusional about the skill talent for ATM's offense or I am. "Either I'm off my nut, or he is ..." Spoilered below is an article about what to expect from ATM's offense based one everything he's seen and heard since camp opened. Highlights: -Marcel Reed is going to be the closest thing to a triple option QB since John Blake was running shit at OU. -They're loaded at WR, which will enable them to go downfield a ton. Ignore the article from this weekend about Reed being an incompetent downfield passer, or that in this same article Tarp talks inadvertently about shortening the field and focusing laterally, because those WRs are going to stretch this motherfucker! -Starting WRs appear to be Concepcion, Craver, and Ashton Bethel-Roman. Bussey will be mostly a screen and jet sweep guy. There are some freshman WRs, not the 5 star, the other ones, who will also be in the two deep. Concepcion continues to be talked about as a deep threat. I am starting to think that none of these people have ever watched the guy play. He averaged less than 9 yard a catch last year and less than 12 as a freshman. Who is this guy a deep threat to, relatively speaking? The aggie secondary? -The OL is discussed as a force, with Fatheree being back to his old self from 3 seasons ago. Moving the starting LT to Center, should it happen, is of no mind to be paid. -EJ Smith is now moving really well. He's a fourth stringer who has never done shit at Stanford or ATM, but look out. -He mentions the TEs because he apparently has to do so.

That's a deep cut.

Vixen must be pretty damn good. -
Gotcha.

I hate this AP poll. They ruined the 1 vs. 2 matchup, and now tOSU will play with a chip on their shoulder for being disrespected at #3. Just win

I had to truck all of my daughter's bedroom furniture to Oxford MS late last week since she mistakenly had it all shipped to her mother's house in Dallas but I digress. The 8+ hour drive with an attached U-Haul trailer allowed me to finally work my way through all available episodes of The Musers: The Podcast. Not sure how long I'll stay with this long-term but it was a pretty good time-kill in the car. I'm not sure what they do once the run out of content about how they all met and then discuss their parents, etc but they each said this has been a lot of fun and less of a grind than doing the morning show. Gordo said he feels like he needs the structure of the morning show to keep him from flying off the rails. Anyway, wondering about one thing from the seven shows that are in the can. I especially enjoyed the moment that George realized Gordo was on his side. Another host at the time was prank-calling Jub and it was awkward because Jub felt like it was threatening his family. He asked he host if he was one doing it and was told no. A short time later, the same host told him it was him that was doing it in fact and he asked Jub to hang around so they could bring him on and talk to him about it. Jub was so incensed he went to management and said if this was what they were going to do, if this is what they thought was funny, he was prepared to quit. Unbeknownst to him, Gordon went into the production room and deleted all the recordings of the calls, etc. Gordo never told Jub he did this. I think it was Bruce or the Laddy who told Jub that Gordo had done that. They'd never discussed the matter personally. Gordo apparently found out during the podcast episode that George knew all along he'd done that for him and knew from that moment they were on the same team. I'm wondering who that host would've been. I moved to Dallas in August or September of 1998. Rocko was hosting the show right after the Musers (I think unless Chris Arnold with Corby as producer handled 10-12 and Rocko was noon-3) but he wasn't at The Ticket very long. This did, however, sound like something he could've been a part of but I don't know the year the incident above happened. Anybody know? I also really enjoyed the story of the boys' first Ticket trip to the Super Bowl. George and Craig shared a room and Gordo got paird up with The Laddy. Gordo's story of The Laddy laying on his bed in his underwear with his head propped up by his shoulder and saying, "Well, I guess it's time for the apparatus." Visions of The Gimp scene from Pulp Fiction played thru Gordo's head. At that point, the Laddy produced the apparatus, which looked like a gas mask. Turns out it was a CPAP machine!

I wasn't doubting you, I saw his percentage earlier. Just comment on it being above Gerry's usual percentages.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen

I can see a world where Venables goes and throws a bitch fit in Nagy's office about not getting him elite talent and Nagy deciding to dive back into this recruitment. I think at this point I'm cheering for OU to spend a fuck ton of money to get the tweener. -
People are too simple and reactionary. In times of war, the temptation grows, the temptation to construct a barbaric other. Grifters know this and ramp up their antisemitism. MTG is just the canary in the reactionary coal mine, but mark my words you will see a flood of antisemites who will be taking Likud's acts of aggression as confirmation of the validity of their antisemitic beliefs. The exact same way reactionaries took newsreels from the Middle East and acts of terror worldwide as confirmation of the validity of their Islamophobia (which, unlike antisemitism, the mainstream media had no problem with signal boosting). As much as we try to fight the conflation between Zionism and Judiaism, there's only so much that can be done against the fact that most people are fucking morons and prefer reductive explanations and can't be bothered to distinguish between genocidal maniacs and ordinary Jews. Roger Waters unfortunately is too erudite for mainstream audiences. His take on NATO, while overall a good take, failed to properly account for ordinary people's intolerance for military invasions and it came off as too supportive of Russia's invasion of Ukraine which made him look crazy. If the US right-wing is first to abandon Israel, they will overperform in the midterms. Democrats need to ban AIPAC yesterday if they are serious about fighting fascism at home.

A company man- on the South Korean cinema depravity scale of The Man from Nowhere to Oldboy, this is very close to the former. Solid action flick with a short runtime, streaming on prime

1. The fuck happened to that detective that when he retired he became a goddamn swamp person? Get a hold of yourself man. Also, I get that you don’t want to discuss details of the case with the family, but after 10 months of fuck ups maybe don’t become antagonistic with a man who lost his world. They tend to not react well. 2. The APD looks fucking awful here. Goddamn amateur hour. I almost feel bad for the detective with ptsd as it’s pretty obvious he’s in an exceptionally bad place, but that’s the job. It sucks. The finger pointing asshole who came in after the fact is definitely going to be the reason that the next fuck up occurs. I’ll bet not much has changed over the years in the department. 3. Once again, the hardest part is watching Sonora Thomas and Sean Ayers deal with the grief years after the murders. That shit about being alone and losing her parents too….Sean doing anything he can to find closure including these fucking parasites masquerading as P.I.’s.

I also forget to mention the Arbuckle quote in which he uses the phrase "almost honestly". I'm not sure I've ever seen that one. -
22 year District resident checking in. I am very curious what he's going to do with the homeless. There are a lot of them and there always have been, especially if you know where to look. If he moves them somewhere, my guess is a tent city somewhere in Manassas, perhaps one of the old battlefields. For the record, crime is much, much lower that when I moved here. There was a spike in the last couple of years with some carjackings and some other bullshit, but for the most part, this a much safer city than it was when I moved here in 2003 and my opinion is this is a big power grab. I guess we will see what happens.

I gotta be honest.... wondering htf the 2nd ship #164 was still travelling at speed when theres a pretty good chance she's got under waterline damage. its got a fucking hole in its bow and the other ship clearly booped itself to no bow (and I would guess several dead sailors who were at the bow).

You guys are giving that sentence way too much attention. By that, I mean any attention. It's an eyeroll throwaway used to fill space. The average reader on OTF is not the same as the average reader/poster here. Hell, most of those guys are posting under their real names.
