  1. Past hour
  2. Doesn't really belong in this thread but I didn't want to start a new one, really interesting (if you're an Xs and Os nerd) breakdown of UMBC's upset of Virginia I watched this morning:
  3. Chilaquiles and bean, cheese, and bacon, imo. And a chocolate Long John.
  4. I could probably kill two birds with one stone on the volleyball thing, if I can get my wife interested in "sports ball" .... as she calls it. damn I sure know how to pick them. I agree and think this may be the best texas defense of my lifetime. I vaguely remember how stifling the '83 team was at 9.5 points per game, last year was 15.3 points per game in a different era of football. '05 was great but I don't think it will stand up to this defense when the season is over.
  5. 42 years ago today.
  6. Blue almost single handedly made the Mississippi State game uncomfortable.
  7. Ewers and Blue were never afraid to mix in a momentum-killing turnover. I'd have to do some digging to get the actual number, but I can remember at least 4 redzone turnovers for Ewers. That also played into the overall redzone issue.
  8. my son pulls that on me I will deadpan this reaction Then be very excited for him, but repeat the line.
  9. I consider Wisner found money after we lost Baxter early in the season, Clark before the season, and Gibson had some ball protection issues. I can easily see his numbers drop from last year simply because we have more available talent at the position, but he'll be just as solid of a contributor.
  10. Wisner was great last year, but Blue was incredibly inconsistent(as a runner). Gibson struggled after showing flashes early. Maybe not average compared to other teams, but definitely average for our roster.
  11. They're not making an argument about mail-in ballots. They're further undermining faith in our election processes. They don't care about legitimate ballots of any sort. They want all ballots to seem illegitimate so they can claim whatever they want. They're dismantling a republic not thinking about politics as usual. There are big stories about this all over the front pages of every newspaper in the country everyday. It's all anyone can talk about on TV news. I think the tide is turning.
  12. That'll get them riled up in Red Stick.
  13. Fuckers are cheating again.

  15. probably the same geniuses who did the HBOGo/Now/Max/Just"Max"/HBOMax dumbassery
  16. What are you talking about? Owning large swaths of property and extracting wealth from the poors that live on it is the basis of every modern healthy economic system.
  17. I concur. I think we should endeavor to win ALL of the games this year. I'll write a strongly worded email.
  18. Silly. QB and RB were both well above average. You don't watch enough college football if you think we were average at either position. Not a good as Bijan or Brooks does not even come close to equaling average.
  19. Prefer to be known as Wi Tu Lo from now on.
  20. This wouldn't look so bad if JT, Morikawa and X weren't looking like warmed over spit.
  21. Anyone know what draft pick that contract would closely equate to? Third round? Late second?
  22. I know it’s the least likely because his decision seemed to be based on factors beyond strictly NIL, but Davon Benjamin is the flip I want to see the most outside of Lee. I think he’ll be the type of DB most were hoping Jonah Williams would be. I can’t remember the last safety we recruited with comparable instincts and reaction speed.
  23. Kentucky's starting QB is Zach Calzada and they lost basically every difference maker on their terrible 4-8 team from last year. We win that game even if we sleepwalk it.
