RIP to the Dark Prince...... Quite an original and for all of his antics, his love for music and metal music was so pure....

Enough SEC discussion to drop here... Brando's prediction going into playoffs at end of 2025 regular season Brando has blOU beating Texas in October... And past stuff from Brando such a joke -- he's such a LSU Homer Then Feldman corrects Brando...

He wanted to stop testing, during a pandemic. Because more tests = more covid. That's something that actually happened, and then we re-elected him.

Per the Googles, as I was curious: Raiders received: 2019 first-round pick (No. 24 overall, used to draft Josh Jacobs) 2019 sixth-round pick (No. 179 overall, used to draft Isaiah Johnson) 2020 first-round pick (No. 19 overall, used to draft Henry Ruggs) 2020 third-round pick (No. 81 overall, used to draft Lynn Bowden Jr.) Bears received: Khalil Mack 2020 second-round pick (No. 43 overall, used to draft Cole Kmet) Conditional 2020 fifth-round pick (used to draft Arlington Hambright) EDIT - Raiders signed him to a 6-yr $141mm extension

The OU-Michigan game is going to be a shit show offensively. I have a feeling Martindale will cause a few turnovers from Mateer to win an ugly type game by a couple of field goals. -
we should definitely move the deadline back next year, for that exact reason. the mlb trade deadline causes havoc.

You’re close- it’s a Lada 1200 which were Soviet clones of the Fiat 124

This isn’t surprising. Remember in the early days of the pandemic when he wanted to keep a cruise ship full of sick passengers from docking in San Francisco so it wouldn’t raise our infection rate? https://www.businessinsider.com/princess-cruise-passenger-dies-coronavirus-ship-heads-for-san-francisco-2020-3

Some jackass had the gall to posit in this very thread that the Epstein scandal may only exit the headlines if the US were to bomb Russia. Weak.

My response was more pithy in it's approach, but I would disagree with you. While there's only about 10 teams who are real contenders this year, I would say that within 5-6 years (extension tenure) there could be at least 20 teams which may have years of being real challengers, not necessarily winners but actually have a realistic shot. The Cowboys haven't been a real championship contender in 30 years and won't be until Jerry is dead. But all of that said, he just wants what he's earned within the construct of the NFL and NFLPA's compensation structure. Pay the man his money and let's get on with things. That's all he wants.

corporation for public broadcasting shutting down
TwiceHorn replied to Hagbard Celine's topic in Daily Texan
Truth in reporting is one very big reason. Don't be a fucking moron. You're better than this. It's both. Or it was. It's now entirely listener supported. Nixon hated CPB and NPR. That tells you all you need to know. -

So it really wasn't "listener supported" - shocking news. -

You don't watch anything on PBS? NPR? KUT? People actually do give a fuck. -
I’d probably rather have Duffman

I mean I try to assume positive with nearly everyone here, but it's interesting that even if you're apathetic about CPB or don't believe in their purpose, you choose to mock/troll. -

Right? There's like a million options. These Aggies were too dumb to solve this enigma, but hey, kudos to them for recognizing that fact. So they brought in another Aggie, an ostensible expert in the field if plywoodery, to consult. And even with that addition to the brain trust, they just couldn't answer the riddle of "how do I support a piece of plywood". JFC. How did I miss this? I must have been too busy dealing with life after Ike. -
Cubs beat BAL 1-0 in 1:49. I remember when we were all laughing at them for using a top 10 pick on Cade Horton...

Happy Gilmore 2 is pretty stupid but SIEM of the cameos are fun and it gets some nostalgia points. John Daly might be the best part.

This is some fucked up shit. Does not get the JW seal of approval.

I keep reading how the aggy OL is going to maul people and have a stout run game, but which good defenses did they have success running on last year? Texas "physically annihilated" them. I don't remember them doing much against ND. LSU and Florida had garbage defenses last year. Can't remember in the Auburn and SC losses. I guess they looked good at home against that clown Drinkwitz and Missouri. -
One night each, or all at once? I really, really, hate subway.
