  1. Past hour
  2. "When I meet new people, they get all excited and ask me about him like he's some sort of superhero," Heid said. "But to me, he's just the same guy who still doesn't know how to work a microwave." “I think Maxpreps posted something like, Arch Manning younger brother rising O-line recruit,” Heid said. “I was not an O-line recruit. I was 5-10, 220 pounds as a center. No one was recruiting me. The less you listen to all the media, I think the better you are.” Maybe that’s why Arch Manning got off Instagram recently and is known for leaving his phone in his room. For as serious as Arch is about football, he wants to have a normal life, too. After all, they grew up as normal kids. Arch had the famous poster of Michael Jordan’s arms-open wingspan on his wall; Heid had the famous Farrah Fawcett bikini poster. Heid sounds like he’s actually funny. And not just “sports guy” funny.
  3. IIRC, Ron Oliveira slipped up and accidentally called her that once in passing on air
  4. So Duncanville ran out of talent?
  5. He got hurt playing baseball, you nailed it
  6. I think it can be true of a number of high profile athletes. Or those that perceive themselves to be the guy. think of how many college football players, regardless of school affiliation, have had a massive case of dumbass and pulled some stunt you or me would never consider. Football players for big schools have been told they were The Man since 7th grade. They got favorable grading, misbehavior was excused, etc. They are used to acting the fool and getting away with it. Probably no different for this track athlete.
  7. Question: Did one of those two teams agree to give up their turn hosting Farmageddon, or is this being treated as a one-off and the hosting rotation continues after this year?
  8. When did Jonah get hurt? Also, I hope he doesn’t end up being injury prone his whole career. Was already hurt this year in baseball too.
  9. Parker is Julian Edelman. Prove me wrong.
  10. Fuuuuuck Might need an emergency 5 from the portal.
  11. 21 of the first 23 astronauts to go to space were first-born or only children. And the other two have exceptions that basically qualify them. https://www.nytimes.com/1968/12/24/archives/each-astronaut-is-an-only-child-fact-cited-as-evidence-of-theory-on.html
  12. Texas goes to 2-0 with a 70-61 win over Canada. That was a good Canada team with Ejim, Avery Howell, Lattimore and Day-Wilson Booker 18 (3-6 from deep) Crump 13 (1-2 from deep) Sidberry 10 Rori and Book both had 8 dimes Much better from the line (20-28)
  13. A few practices notes from Dunlap on OB
  14. Looks like he's in clear violation, esp. if on campus. Can extend to off campus if "conduct adversely or seriously affects the learning environment or University community." Football player found with suspected murderers and a cache of guns may not affect the learning community, as I suspect little learning going on in that area. However it does adversely affect the university community. https://www.lsu.edu/saa/students/codeofconduct.php 5.0 Jurisdiction of the Code 5.1 Jurisdiction of the Code The Code applies to conduct that occurs on the Campus, at LSU-sponsored activities, and/or when the Student or RSO is representing LSU. SAA shall have discretion to extend jurisdiction over conduct that occurs off campus when the conduct adversely and significantly affects the learning environment or University community and would be in violation of the Code if the conduct had occurred on campus. In determining whether or not to extend jurisdiction, SAA may consider its ability to gather information. SAA may extend jurisdiction if the alleged conduct: Involves violence or produced a reasonable fear of physical harm; and/or Involves any members of the University community or any academic work, records, documents, or property of the University. Each Student is responsible for conduct from the time of admission through the actual awarding of a degree, though conduct may occur before classes begin or after classes end, as well as during the academic year and during periods between terms of actual enrollment and even if the conduct is not discovered until after a degree is awarded. 5.2 Violation of Law and LSU Policy Proceedings may be instituted against a Student or RSO charged with conduct that potentially violates both the law and the Code without regard to the status of any civil, criminal or other proceedings. Proceedings under this Code may be carried out prior to, simultaneously with, or following any civil or criminal proceedings. 10.2 Behavioral Misconduct A Student or RSO may be charged with Behavioral Misconduct for any of the following acts or omissions: Weapons. Possession on one’s person, which includes any bag, case, container, purse, clothing, or backpack and/or use of any weapon, defined as any object used or designed to inflict or attempt to inflict harm or injury or fear of harm or injury. Weapons include, but are not limited to firearms, facsimile guns, air guns, knives, explosives, any dangerous chemical or biological agent or any other object or material capable of causing harm, and used by the offending person to inflict or attempt to inflict fear, harm or injury.
  15. This is Tidehaven's year in 3a!
  16. Because it’s oh so clever. We are living inside a WWE skit.
  17. The party that condones pedophilia should rightfully be called the Pedo Party. Time to go full on with rhetoric based on what they have allowed to lead their party/cult. The time for being nice to anyone that supports it has long since passed.
  18. More to the point, who fucking cares? It doesn’t affect anyone.
  19. Fresh QB comes back in and promptly throws another pick. Ballgame Impressive athletes on that Buford defense
  20. I loved the original but this might be the worst movie I’ve ever seen. Horrible. Jesus Christ
  21. Quinn played against UTSA too. He was slinging it and scoring TDs as well. But against the same UTSA defense, it was obvious to everyone Arch looked better.
