  1. Let's pander to Kansas, learn from their wisdom, and strive to be like Kansas.

  2. Just heard about Barr's letter -- I'm gonna assume he summarized the report honestly, and Mueller couldn't find conclusive evidence of Trump campaign coordinating with Russia on their election manipulation. I'll accept that. My gut still tells me that there are too many smoking (smocking) guns to believe TrumpCo is truly clean, but barring partisan bullshit by Barr, I'll take the loss. The loss is a win for the country in the long run, anyway. I'll go to my grave knowing Trump is a bad man who is out for no gain but his own, and that he's wholly unqualified to serve our country, but that's another argument for another day. That day will come.

  8. You are such a fucking fool. The Lib Trash in Washington played right into Putin’s hands with their insane ravings over the last two years and did more damage to American government and our trust in it than anything they could fabricate about a Trump. And you and your kind lapped it up like the mindless lemmings you are. Congratulations.

They got one engine working and one anchor holding. Story: https://abcnews.go.com/International/norwegian-cruise-engine-failure-off-norway-coast-prompts/story?id=61894958

  19. My wife is a Xavier grad, and she's on her way down to Austin for the game right now. I decided to stay in Dallas and watch the baby. I had to choose between two shit shows, and I went with baby shit instead of Shaka shit. It's more enjoyable. (By the way, my wife is awesome. I think I fell in love with her when we were watching a Xavier game at a bar and she screamed "Fucking box out!!" so loud that the whole bar just stared at her.)

  23. Agreed. I'm honestly glad that the Trump campaign didn't collude with the Russians. It's a relief. I hope this means it didn't happen and not just that the tracks were very well-covered. But given Mueller's reputation for thoroughness, I think we can all rest a little easier tonight. But those of you yelling "exoneration!" seem to be forgetting how many stones are left to overturn with this guy. Obstruction is still in play, his tax returns can be subpoeaned, he's been in violation of the emoluments clause the whole time, etc. And, oh yeah, he's probably a rapist. You are backing a bad man and you cannot deny that. Doesn't that bother you at all? As much as you disliked Obama and I disliked W, we couldn't say that they weren't decent men, honorable men. We just disagreed with their policies. Donald Trump is, objectively, a bad person on multiple levels. Why don't you care?

  24. 01) I am relieved that there was no apparent election conspiracy between Americans and the Russians based on AG Barr's review of the SC Report. That would have been terrible for the country. 02) That being said, i would prefer to learn more than just a filtered summary by the AG. The entire report should be released for public consumption. 03) Speaking of unfiltered, i would love to have an Mueller testify in front of Congress., however, I fear both parties would make that a circus. 04) I have no doubt the President is a crook (re: Individual #1) and has attempted to obstruct justice (likely because he is a narcissist and bore and couldn't help himself) 05) My already very low opinion of Mr. Trump didn't sink exponentially lower today. Whew.. Winning?

  31. Agents of Russian intelligence services feed fantastical collusion narrative to ex British intelligence officer, who is being funded by American political interests to generate opposition research. This Russian generated narrative is inserted into the US intelligence community and ultimately serves as the basis for initiating surveillance against an individual associated with an American Presidential campaign, cover provided by an unconstitutional and secretive domestic surveillance program with no transparency nor oversight. After the unfathomable result of a contentious American election, influenced in large part by the results of a Russian intelligence operation that manipulated the actions of the Director of the FBI in the handling of an investigation into one of the American candidates for President, firing of same said Director evolves into a social media conspiracy circus that stokes political divisions and broadly undermines American faith in their government institutions. Spooks literally wipe their ass with the Constitution and damage our democracy for generations, perhaps irrevocably. Active measures indeed.

  34. Hahahahahahahahaha. Wow. Yup, no reason to investigate the full extent of the massive Russian campaign aimed at our democracy. Let me guess, this investigation, unnecessary. Those emails and Benghazi, totally worthwhile investigations.

  35. My honest opinion - he’s attacked it because there is no legitimate reason to have conducted it in the first place. Maybe there’s small dumb shit that he doesn’t want public that will be released as a part of this that has nothing to do with Russia or any election. If I had a 2 year federal investigation into my life for something that didn’t happen I’d be pissed. Especially when it harms my reputation and originated solely due to bitterness over losing an election.

  37. This is incorrect. An investigation into Russian meddling of the election is warranted regardless of Trump/Clinton collusion that doesn't appear to exist at this time. Our IC has confirmed that there is a serious issue with Russian interference, but POTUS doesn't seem to trust our own IC which is the real danger here. The rest of this is just political theater.

  39. On the silence, if he found out Friday that they would have recommended indicting him on obstruction-- but didn't because of DOJ policy on indicting a sitting president -- and his tweets were a big part of the obstruction case, that might actually shut him up. I stand by my prediction. Trump is done.

In my best Homer Simpson voice I blurt out "I'm intrigued by your ideas and wish to subscribe to your newsletter." The 2 people sitting next to me and I can't stop laughing, everyone else is giving us a WTF? look. Luckily one of the two people is my boss.
