  2. I think there is a lot right in this. They knew TrumpCo was playing loose with Russia and currying interference but they had to walk a thin line. And yes, they were assuming Hillary would win, which 2+ MILLION people voted for her over Drumpf, but the EC broke for the Dotard. If Hillary had won, none of the begging Russia for help would’ve mattered, because it wasn’t effective. It was still super dirty pool, as dirty or dirtier than anything the Hillary hate cult espouses about her. But at the end of the day Trump would be an after thought, with no reason to dig into further unless you are the left version of Gym Jordan. The most maddening about people who STILL support trump and do it mostly because they hat Hillary is this. So you hate Hillary becaus things like the “Clinton Foundation” and “White Water” and EMAILS! and so on.... How fucking blind do you have to be to think DONALD TRUMP is above those things or hasn’t been proven to have done worse. You are an absolute dipshit of the highest aggy order if you think the fucking bone spur fake millionaire is any less corrupt than Hillary. AGGY loves trump. At what point do you start questioning that. It’s fine to hate both, but why in the world are you people still carrying water for the exact thing you “claim” to hate? Other than you are all closet aggy...

  6. There are plenty of well-written testimonials of fans of other teams who journey to College Station see a game. To a man and/or woman, all are universally overcome by the pageantry, history, and tradition of Kyle. Karen is no different, though her commitment level is awe-inspiring. The gallantry and all-around friendliness of ordinary ags have won her heart.

  8. I watched Chris Thompson's hudl yesterday and what stands out the most is that he's just a great all-around football player. Assuming he goes to the good guys, his position in Orlando's scheme will be an interesting question. Some people have said he could maybe get up to 220-225 and play Rover. I'm not sure he has the frame for that, but it's hard to say without seeing him in person. He's pretty well-developed already and plays at around 200. If he can get to 225, he'd make a great Rover. As for our safety spots, I think Field is the only spot where he wouldn't be a great fit. He could absolutely play Boundary and Joker, but I think his best fit may actually be Nickel. We're almost three years into Orlando's defense and it' still hard to figure out exactly what Orlando's ideal Nickel looks like (Lord knows @Katfid54 doesn't have a clue), but it does seem to me like he prioritizes a Nickel who can hold up in the run game over a guy who can man up the slot WR. Thompson is extremely good in the run game. He can take on a pulling OL or H-back, and he's an extremely good tackler. The trait that stands out most though is his route recognition. He reminds me a bit of Caden Sterns in that he's usually breaking on the ball before it's left the QB's hand. The difference being that Thompson is diagnosing the underneath stuff while most of Sterns' plays like that were on routes downfield. Thompson especially excels at diagnosing and blowing up bubble screens, which is a huge part of playing Nickel in the big 12. More than anything, we just need to get him because he could be successful at quite a few positions, but once he arrives on campus, it's gonna be fun to see where he ends up playing.

  9. You’re not going to show a fucking BILLION in losses unless you suck. Did you miss the guys who ran his businesses saying he was terrible? Including people at the very top. You’ll make excuses for a dumbass like this all day. If he would have taken every dollar his daddy gave him and just invested it in some index fund he would have way more money today. But idiots like you want to make him out to be some fucking genius. Lol. Keep drinking that kool aid, dumbass.

  15. Now let’s imagine a world where China decides to dump several hundreds of millions of dollars into a campaign to elect a democrat. And that Democrat openly screams for Beijing’s support. And uses information illegally obtained by Chinese spies to help win the electoral college by 70k votes. When that happens, I’m sure the fucking moron trump sycophants on here will rush to say, no big deal.

  19. The problem with the show is they’re just hitting plot points without earning it. They did a poor job narratively building to this. Technically speaking the episode was great. The acting, cinematography, and the music was masterful as always.

  26. You know a movie has a hell of a lot of quotable lines when one of the best lines from the trailer doesn't make it into the final cut: Taylor: Don't feel bad, Rick. That ball wouldn't have gotten out of a lot of parks. Vaughn: Oh, yeah? Name one. Taylor: Yellowstone.

  28. See, this is a good non-troll post even though I disagree with part of it, because it doesn't blatantly misrepresent the report. I actually think the report is quite clear on obstruction, but Mueller was clear why he didn't conclude that it was obstruction nor make an explicit impeachment referral (because he felt either would have been inappropriate). The people saying the report exonerates Trump on the "collusion" question are lying. That's not remotely what the report says. The report sets forth evidence that could indicate conspiracy or coordination but states that they determined that the admissible evidence they had would probably be insufficient to prove conspiracy or coordination beyond a reasonable doubt. However, the report also makes it clear that the investigation of whether there was conspiracy or coordination was substantially hindered by certain factors, including by Trump and his associates, that prevented them from being able to assess the full picture. These are from the report's summary on the charging decisions in Volume 1: This is the Special Counsel's way of saying "there's almost certainly more we were prevented from discovering due to constant obstruction from the subjects of the investigation." It's not remotely close to an exoneration. As for whether the Dems should impeach, if the evidence of obstruction by Trump that the report provides isn't sufficient to justify impeachment, nothing is. The Dems aren't holding back because they're not sure whether multiple instances of obstruction of justice justifies impeachment, they're holding back because they're not sure how impeachment will play politically and that terrifies them.

  29. Its easier to subvert expectations by subverting character arcs. Varys the Cunning turns into Varys the Clumsy. Arya the cold-hearted NK-killer who can slip in and out of anywhere, turns into a crying girl seeing the carnage and will now try to save the day. Cersei, smersie. I found a white horse. Now Deanaryis is the bad guy. Cersei wants to live! We missed the scenes where Clarence, her guardian angel, shows her what things would be like if she had never been born. It was an enjoyable episode if you turn off your brain and enjoy the Hound vs the Mountain. It’s like, who cares? The Mountain is a zombie. Awesome, he’s about to make the Hounds eyes explode!

  32. I had drinks with a scouting buddy who was in town for a kid's graduation. He was with his brother in law. They went on and on about every Fox talking point. They hate AOC, are convinced that the democrats spied on Trump and that there was 'no collusion!'. I asked if either had actually read the Mueller report or watched MSNBC to get a take on this other than Fox or Trump twitter. Of course not. The liberal media is the enemy of the people. Brisket is right. We are fucked. Trump is not the problem. The abject refutation of journalistic integrity and the fact that an alternate fact universe can exist that half the country thinks is true is the problem. These guys are not evil. But they simply have no clue what is going on, and feel that they are well informed. They watch the news and listen to Rush. What??
