  1. I don't want dumbasses in Lubbock, Abilene, Tyler, Waco, etc., deciding what's best for me in Austin, but here we are.

  2. Just noticing how my neighbors in Katy have taken down their Trump signs faster than I take off my burnt orange on most Saturdays.

  3. Last night in Georgia, Gwinnett County ceased counting ballots early to allow Clayton County the opportunity to submit their count first and flip Georgia for Biden. Clayton County is partially located in the 5th Congressional District. The 5th Congressional District was represented for 33 years by US House Representative John Lewis. And that my friends, is the definition of “playing chess and not checkers.”

  4. There are a lot of men in the public spotlight who make my brain explode, in that they're way past retirement age, worth a shit ton of money, have it made in life, and yet they keep working their high-stress jobs until they die or get fired. Mack Brown is a perfect example of that IMO. I always think "dude, take your millions of dollars, live in your ridiculous lakehouse, go play golf every day then retire to your pool in the afternoon for margaritas, and spend as much time as you possibly can with your grandkids". But those guys just don't know life without their jobs and their identity. Joe Biden was the exact opposite. He stepped away and seemed perfectly content to spend time with his family, with his wife whom it appears he has a tremendous relationship with, and, well, his ridiculous giant bad ass house and spread. I truly believe that he came back out of need, not want. He felt a call to duty. Whether or not he really did need to might be up for debate, but he is a good man and I respect him. And he got the job done. Fuck yeah.

  5. He just completed an interview on MSNBC. Discretely on his bookshelf in the background he had a Count von Count doll and USPS toy truck. This guy is kind of awesome.

  8. Stacy Abrams spent the last two years registering 800,000 non-voters, pulling them off the sidelines to make this happen. Respect.

  9. Sort of off topic but don’t know where else to post it. I Googled the PA Lt. Governor because he just looks like he has an interesting backstory - and he does - and found this article on his house. It’s an old car dealership and its renovation was part of his movement as the mayor of a semi-dilapidated steel town to revitalize the town. He still lives there even though as Lt. Governor he has an official residence. https://www.designsponge.com/2016/07/in-pennsylvania-a-car-dealership-becomes-an-industrial-home.html It’s seriously bad ass and I thought y’all would also enjoy his Brazilian wife.

  11. Yet you want people in Alabama and Tennessee deciding what's best for people in California.....that makes sense. In Trumpland, there are only geese, no ganders.

  12. I’d like to thank Joe Biden. He entered the race and self declared he only had one job. He got it done. Thanks Joe.
