  2. I’ve never started one of these before. Suck it, @texifornia and @Machinator. We just landed one of the best WRs in the country! https://247sports.com/player/evan-stewart-46096676/ https://www.hudl.com/video/3/10161731/5fda588923528d0ab8c992c1

  3. This fat fuck is a college dropout that got his start by running errands for people at KVUE and for chatting up local Austin recruits and sending emails about it to Burton, begging him for work. Burton right-time/right-placed him with letting him run Orangebloods and Ketchum has forever since believed that he did it all himself. He thinks he's an expert on the sport of CFB and knows HSFB because he used to watch games. His echo-chamber of mouthbreathing idiots on his site only reinforce his delusion. He's a grade-A assclown. Things Ketchum is allegedly actually good at: -Stealing money - whether from oblivious clowns that subscribe to his bullshit or by defrauding compassionate fans of Texas football who gave willingly to a charity in order to benefit a deceased player's young kid and SO. -Paying off the IRS to leave him alone - this is what one does with a bag of money they steal from a charity golf tournament in order to avoid going to jail. -Fucking up recruitments for UT - Fatfuck's dated belief in "getting the scoop" in order to gain credibility and subscribers frequently causes him to blurt out pilfered information on a recruit's announcement before the recruit is ready, often queering the recruitment away from UT's favor. -Eating wing restaurants completely out of inventory and destroying everyone else's lunch plans. The next time someone tells you that they subscribe to Orangebloods when they try to talk Texas football with you, if you don't shout them down and make them feel regret and shame for their idiocy, you're part of the problem. This guy is repeatedly enabled to fuck with the UT program and make us look stupid as fans by the clowns that continue to hand him money. He's a fucking parasite and a shitheel. I'd like to fight him in a boxing match at the Surly Sprint-off for charity and just whip his fucking ass the way it needs to be whipped.

  4. My one and only connection to the program, who I have cited in the Urban Meyer, McRib or Bust thread was in town this week going all Ted Cruz escaping the power outages to ski with my wife and I. This was my first chance to see him in person since the OU game. Some quick notes: * Sark was the clear number two choice after Urban. There was time last year when the money was aligned behind Campbell but once Sark laid out his vision for the Texas program the choice was made early in the process once Urban said no thanks. This was somewhat surprising to me. * Sark apparently listed out his proposed coaching staff which was a fucking all star wish list and said it would require Texas to commit to 7 figure salaries for as many as 3 additional coaches beyond the coordinator position. This was actually a huge selling point after the cluster fuck of Herman’s initial staff. * The belief from the Texas side was that Sark would be far away the best overall recruiting upgrade over the likes of Campbell, Kelley and other names mentioned. Recruiting was a very big factor in the decision apparently. * The money was aligned behind the candidate at least two full weeks before the announcement. This was not a blank check without input. Kudos to the people involved in the process and behind the financial support for keeping a lid of this. And that is all of the info I will have until we fire and hire again which I hope is many years from now.

  6. You’re goddamn right. The only thing more obvious would be if this motherfucker wore a Sandusky jersey and carried a whistle with Rape etched on it followed by a smiley face emoji. Look at this beady-eyed, rat faced kiddie diddler: Ryan Day has fucked more kids than the public school system in Baltimore.

  7. My understanding is that "sarvanaash" is Finnish for "being totally oblivious and not understanding context." In a perverse way, I find you to be one of the more entertaining posters on this board, but hey, I like chaos. Watching your antics and peoples' (over)reactions, even my own sometimes, is fucking hilarious. That said, you're an intelligent guy, but you're not very smart, and I learned the difference in folks a long time ago. Gerry did not "literally copy-paste this article from last week." He updated it, and the updates are pretty fucking important for anyone actually paying attention. So let's walk through a few and also ensure the board, and any other oblivious people or noobs are up to speed. Kris Ross - He "literally" is telling you in the new update that USC is trying to work an uncle game on this recruitment. You may or may not be aware of this, but USC has some guys on staff that the IT guys, at least of few of them, know pretty well. Some are even friends. Frankly, GH dropped a fucking virus on us with this part of the update. Let's see how it works out. If we get this guy in the end, it's a good but new sign for recruiting at Texas. Denver Harris - He's telling us that there is a shot that this recruitment ends long before he (from his last update) or the rest of us expected, and we look good here. Devon Campbell - Someone "extremely close" to a recruit means the player himself, a parent, guardian, or sibling. Someone "close" means a coach, trainer or uncle. You rarely see "extremely close" from the $9.95ers and specifically, GH. He's telling you he knows this one has the very near term potential of happening and he'll likely know ahead of anyone else because of whatever relationship he's developed. That doesn't mean he'll say anything because that isn't what he does, but between now and the video drop, he'll probably give us a hint while TFB sprints around all but saying it and ruining the moment that they've been hired to help create. Terrance Brooks - He added ND back in to this recruitment. That's actually good. It means it hasn't yet, and might not, boil down to bag drops or SECSECSEC and ATM vs. Bama. Neto - He's added Ohio State as a factor. Dewberry - He's basically now telling you that this guy is a bit of a front-runner and if Texas' class catches fire and they win in the fall, they can lock this guy up and keep him, if it isn't too "difficult", which I interpret as meaning "expensive". Coleman - He's now telling you that with Stewart getting locked up, Coleman sits on top of Bama's board, which I know to be true from elsewhere. Allen - He's telling you ATM is no longer a factor. If they get back in it, it's gotten really dirty. Allen allegedly isn't playing that game. Bledsoe - He got specific about this recruitment and it's clear someone thinks Texas and others are making headway against ATM's initial lead. Cooper - Texas has made up some ground against Stanford in some form. Kerr - He's not a priority for Texas because they feel better about higher rated targets. Oklahoma may make a push and lock him up, which is an indicator of where things may go with Allen. Llewellyn - He added OU to this recruitment, which should concern us because they have a strong argument to make for TEs and should interest us because OU knows what they're doing with TE evaluations. Hyphen - Not mentioned in this update. That either means that when the dust settled on the Murphy commitment, there wasn't substance to his interest in Texas or GH just forgot to mention him because he's in CA and nothing has happened with him lately. Agbo - He added him, so there must be traction here. What he's telling us in both updates: Winfield - He views this guy as a possession WR and believes that he's a weak take unless they land some burners. I'm guessing that if they land Thompson and Stewart, the Winfield take makes a ton of sense to GH, who actually evaluates players and considers rosters when doing so. Sexton - The Pickryl comparison, and repeating it, means he thinks this is a guy that wouldn't mind leaving the state and is cerebral vs looking for a handout. Different cat. Guys not mentioned in either - Either nothing much is happening with the likes of guys out west or east, or with guys like Tavorus Jones, Jordan, Biddle, Hutson, Klubnik, etc., or whatever is happening is all bullshit and Texas isn't interested or the player isn't and they're using the UT brand for social media hype.

  8. You need thicker skin and better comprehension. Maybe Glasscock won't be as good as your old pal Chang but maybe he will. You were happy with Chang and we were average on the field. So was Chang top tier? Ever think there might be more that goes into it? I don't know much about Glasscock but he's apparently well respected. Right now in Sark's life cycle that's good enough for me in an admin position that's behind the scenes. You hate Drayton but every football person I've talked to has the exact opposite feeling. Hell in your post you even said you loved Drayton's players immediately after running him down. Are there better coaches/recruiters than Drayton and Coleman...sure. Does that mean either of those guys are bad because you say so? Fuck no. You seem like a smart guy but you definitely sniff your own farts.

  20. It's an Igbo name. Christian Okoye (and other Okoyes), Nnamdi Asomugha, ND Kalu, and anyone named Okafor are also Igbo. Closer to home: Chris Ogbonnaya, the Acho brothers, and Orakpo. Away from sports: Fat Tony and Tyler the Creator Igbo-Americans whose ancestors came as slaves, ancestry discovered via DNA: Paul Robeson, TD Jakes, Forrest Whitaker, and Blair Cunningham Adoleye Adeoye was Yoruba. (Ado- and Ade- and Akin- names are Yoruba) There seems to be fewer Yoruba football players in general, not just with us. And maybe fewer Yoruba immigrants, period. Hakeem Olajuwon is Yoruba. So is Gbenga Akinnagbe, aka Chris Partlow This has been your Nigerian Naming Conventions Minute
