  1. Hi StassneyHorn, This is our third time reaching out. You haven’t met with us yet to discuss your production environment’s inefficiencies. Should we go up the ladderor are you just timid in decision making? Cause we can help with that too. Send a response back by 3pm to get put on our list.
  2. CDC won't fire Pierce if we make a super. I'm honestly skeptical that he'll fire him no matter what happens. I know most of us are ready to move on and most of yall think it's a given, but I'm not seeing it happen.
  3. What a joke. I am Jack's complete lack of surprise that the video in no way matches what is in Officer Dipshit's police report. This should've been thrown out Monday morning. He's lucky there's video but also that he's a rich, white guy. IMO, all LE officers in the USA should have fully-functioning body-cameras on at all times while on duty. It would go a long way toward legitimizing police work in this country. Unfortunately, it would probably dissuade so many cops from taking the job in the first place because these guys get into this profession to fuck shit up in a lot of cases.
  4. woohoo lets get this countdown started. we kickoff 14 weeks from saturday. we played 14 games last year. if you were to rewatch 1 game/saturday starting two days from now, you could fill all empty saturday's until the season begins.
  5. The only power 4 caliber PF/C options still in the portal are Trevon Brazile and Coleman Hawkins, both 6'10 PFs. Coleman is a scorer and Brazile hasn't been fully healthy in awhile. Hawkins is likely to Arkansas, but idk anything about Coleman's portal recruitment. Too bad we didn't get in on Ven-Allen Lubin who committed to UNC today
  6. Even if you gave the cop a huge benefit of the doubt and say the dragging took place out of camera view, which I do not believe at all, he sure as hell wasn't hurt where he needed to go to the hospital. He's running around sprinting and in the other video, he's standing there just fine making up his story.
  7. For the most part, Clark's criticism has remained in WNBA spaces. That changed recently when Sunny Hostin of "The View" spoke on Clark's "privilege." Hostin's comments came on Wednesday, May 22 prior to Barkley's TNT rant. She claimed Clark has "pretty privilege" and "white privilege" which has benefitted her. "Now, Caitlin Clark is bringing this money, these sponsorships, we hope, into the league and other players will benefit from it," Hostin said. "But I do think that she is more relatable to more people because she’s white, because she’s attractive, and unfortunately, there still is that stigma against the LGBTQ+ community
  8. We sure that’s not a Fox on air talent?
  9. I guess Kawhi was the last big FA signing? Although debatable if there was ever a “market” for him because he wanted to go back to California. Before that I’m guessing it’s LeBron to Lakers/Durant and Kyrie to Brooklyn?
  10. There’s an article that mentions she wanted to go out of state because she has always lived in Texas. Lists Tenn, Oregon, Georgia and UCLA. Must have been her finalists We also have the next Brejae Washington in CF already.
  11. Did we recruit Rylee Slimp from Liberty Hill? She is headed to UCLA…, a center fielder and one of the best players in Cen Tex.? https://tinyurl.com/29bahvbv
  12. Honestly, I never liked it all that much, but my then-wife did, so we went every once in awhile. I preferred Mother's, which happened to be full on vegetarian, but better cooking. (I think Martin Bros wasn't.)
  13. Actually, if given the opportunity, I’d rather face OU than OkSt….we only scored 2 runs on them in 3 games. Our pitching was able to keep OU to 1 run in the two games we won here in Austin.
  14. Hispanics voting Trump - Leopards eating peoples faces party voters, example eleventy billion. It's. SO. FUCKING. STUPID. I have had my loyalty as an American questioned plenty of times in recent years, based on my last name. There are "real Americans" (white folks, with obviously white names), and then there's....not real Americans (me and my family, and everyone like us, or with a similar "foreign sounding" name). Why any of us would vote for the party that is proudly racist, xenophobic, and white supremacist (and don't tell us the lie about "no, it's just about whether they're here legally" -- the fucking leadership behind Trump wants to end ALL immigration, and has pushed to end LEGAL status (including citizenship) for anyone they can catch up in their sick process (like challenging my US citizen father, who was born in a border town back when hospital records weren't perfect)). They are racist pieces of shit, and they ARE coming for you, they WILL attack you....so don't be stupid and vote for them. And this. The GQP will never reform/moderate. They are too far gone. It's over, folks. There's no going back.
  15. But maybe we'll get 7 more solo shots today and win. Or 10 or 12 or whatever it ends up taking.
  16. We did. And then stopped at Storms in Burnet for a burger!
  17. Yeah, but for those of us not in Texas, we prefer you'd keep them there, thanks. Ted Fucking Cruz on the SC or Paxton as AG is a nightmare scenario for the rest of the country.
  18. Why would he go with Williams over Audi? Doesn't make sense to me.
  19. What if we replace "bad" with "idoit" - does that work?
  20. Yesterday was OTA media day for the Chiefs. Worthy didn't participate in Wednesday's OTA by the way, pulled hammy. A lot of topics were brought up during the interviews this wasn't done to address Butker but address the media in general regarding the Chiefs. It's pretty clear they were just threading the needle to avoid controversy. They will continue to be vague if questioned further. There are a lot of extracurricular activities going on with the Chiefs that will likely overshadow Butker's speech.
  21. We drove over the Inks lake bridge on 29 in December of 1991. Buchanan had almost all of their gates open. The bridge was literally shaking. Let's do that again.
  22. "We're also going to call you Chad F."
  23. Use the analytical part of your brain. There is a massive shortage in growing states like Texas and California, et. al. for health care providers. The cost of living in states like those is becoming cost-prohibitive. Less money is being invested into the medical branches that train those doctors and nurses. The economic models and student loans no longer make much financial sense for the students of those trades. And then they gotta deal with asshole patients all day who feel they are entitled to better care because they're middle-class white people. It's not DEI that's creating this problem. It's that they can't fill the spots at the schools and hospitals with more intelligent people because of the system we've foisted upon them. And here's the fun part. Because of laws enacted in Texas, we're going to have an even larger problem attracting medical talent. The only saving grace is the older Texans who brought this problem to our shores get to die more painful deaths because of the lack of medical care talent. Oops.
  24. This is something I've really grappled with over the last year or two. I think there's a desire to create simple "good" and "bad" labels for everyone and it's just not that simple. I have friends who would drop everything at a moment's notice to help me, no questions asked. They are generous, donate to charities, and are raising what seem to be solid, well-adjusted children. They are also almost assuredly voting for Trump. Does this make them "bad?" My parents would give up their lives in a second for those that they love. The household we grew up in was full of warmth and love and is the example I am trying to replicate for my family. They are also almost assuredly voting for Trump. Does this make them "bad?" I have brilliant co-workers who are phenomenal at building up a team, always make sure to share credit, and thrive in a culturally diverse work environment. They are also almost assuredly voting for Trump. Does this make them "bad?" Meanwhile, I know plenty of rude, self-centered Biden-voters who couldn't care less about those around them and take no responsibility for their actions. Just because they pull the same lever as me in November, does that make them "good?" The closest rationalization I've been able to conclude is that some people are able to treat politics kind of like sports. There's a team they root for and they'll continue to root for that team, regardless of the players involved. I obviously don't agree with this and wish they saw what I see, but simply labeling all Trump voters as bad people oversimplifies the issue to a degree that ensures it will never get fixed. But... on the other hand, how can a "good" person look at Trump and not be immediately repulsed? Even given what I said in the paragraph above, this still seems unbelievable to me. I don't have a solution, just a rant from someone who has struggled with this since he realized that the list of people who my wife and I would trust to raise our children if something happened to us is almost exclusively comprised of (likely?) Trump voters.
