Burns and Harrison are OVing. Haven't seen a UOV list.

IT

Spoiler

Harrison and Jaqwondis Burns will be on official visits this weekend. They'll be joined by a handful of others.

Jaqwondis Burns, IMG Academy (via Terrell, TX) - LB (OLE MISS): The three-star 'backer currently pledged to Ole Miss. Burns and UT have been in close contact recently, and despite his commitment to the Rebels, is looking hard at UT. If UT pushes hard, and using an official suggests they will, Texas is a legitimate threat to steal him from the entire SEC.

Dajon Harrison, Hutto - ATH (TEXAS): There wasn’t a happier kid in the state this week after he realized his dream of committing to play for the Longhorns. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound prospect can play on either side of the ball. He prefers offense but is open to defense.

Prince Dorbah, Highland Park - OLB (TEXAS): The four-star pledge recently accepted an invitation to participate in the Polynesian Bowl (HS all-star game). Why the Polynesian Bown and not the more popular UA game or Army Bowl? “It’s in Hawaii,” said Dorbah. All you had to say, bro.

Jalen Milroe, QB - Katy Tompkins (TEXAS) (2021): Milroe is readying for a deep playoff run but in the meantime he'll get some more face time with the coaches and fellow commits.

Jaylen Garth, Port Neches-Groves - OL (TEXAS) (2020): Garth missed his senior season due to injury but he's still a big part of UT's future plans on the o-line.

Jaden Hullaby, Mansfield Timberview - ATH (TEXAS) (2020): He's showing his athleticism while playing quarterback this season. Has the potential to become a "where did he come from" player.

Juan Davis, Everman - TE (TEXAS) (2021): Like Hullaby, Davis is also playing quarterback despite projecting elsewhere in college. The 6-foot-4, 220 pounder's upside resides at TE.

Lake McRee, Lake Travis - TE (TEXAS) (2021): McRee was denied a certain breakout year due to injury but fortunately for him he has another season remaining.

Looking ahead, Texas will host two interesting prospects on 11/29: Tyler Junior College OLB/DE Maureesee Wren and Mt. Enterprise (TX) ATH Kendre Miller.

Wren, a former La Tech WR signee, could be attrition insurance, while Miller has recently caught the attention of schools like Texas, TCU, Oklahoma State, and Baylor.

Miller is one of the nation’s leading rushers, with over 2,500 yards on the ground through Week 10. At 6-foot, 205, he looks like an inside LB at the next level.

Both are certainly ones to monitor heading down the final stretch.

Finally, Tom Herman and Oscar Giles were at Bastrop Cedar Creek this morning to see priority defensive end Alfred Collins. They also took the time to talk with some teachers.

Bumped him to #163 in the nation.

Spiegelman mentioned him getting a Rivals bump whenever they have next rankings.

At the end of the Mack Brown epoch, we take Lindberg at the first junior camp. He stays a four star prospect because we signed him early. Karic meanwhile goes to Baylor and is a three year starter and two time all Big 12 tackle.

Charlie Strong would have signed neither player.

Let's try not to shit the bed tomorrow.

The Football Brainiacs are reporting Collins will be at the game tomorrow.

There is one school since we have joined the Big 12 that has scouted Texas and consistently shoved  every one of our schematic weaknesses directly up our ass.

And to top it off they just pantsed the OU defense and currently look like the hottest team in the conference. I’m going to just assume Saturday will be hard to watch.

I’ve been out of the loop with recruiting. How much damage was done by the decommitments & who are we on down the stretch?

The de-commits were processed.  They didn’t want to win out.  Just ask @futureman.  Probably will go play for a terrible team that we will beat convincingly in the near future.

The decommits weren't very damaging. Not ideal, but not horrific. The tough thing is trying to hold on to Bijan with OSU raping and pillaging the Big Ten.

Didn't one of the reporters (Roach, maybe?) say that OSU isn't the threat to look out for due to the distance from home, but that USC could be trouble if they make a good hire (namely, one slimy retiree)?

I don’t like like that Bijan was susceptible to the slimy used car salesman pitch from OSU, something about their coach telling him “just be patient recruiting is a long process”. Bitch you pressured him into committing, he decommitted from you and went to the school he really wanted to be at.

bijan never committed to OSU you dimwit.
