SNF: Rams at Browns

I think it's funny that all night Collinsworth has acted like Mayfield is so awesome when he gets it out quickly so he should just throw it immediately.

Never mentioned that the other way of looking at that is that Mayfield is awesome when his first read is wide open. Well no shit, so are most quarterbacks. Mayfield has some skills, but lots of QBs in the NFL get ripped by announcers when they can't work through their progressions to their 3rd and 4th options.

Collinsworth said Mayfield had done nothing if his first read wasn't open, mentioned it a couple times.

You get inside the 5 and you line up empty set and throw the ball 4 straight times? Stupid as shit. They ran the ball on that drive much further back. Why not inside the 5? That is some Scott Linehan bullshit right there.

Browns OL is god awful.

And they had 3 time outs to play with. QB draw was open. Shocking that they didn’t run it once.

Fucking ouch.

One bold gambler put a whopping $506,000 on the Browns to cover as 3.5-point home underdogs at a William Hill book at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, according to The Action Network’s Darren Rovell.

Half a million dollars gone as the Browns’ offense struggled at home. Per Rovell, that bet is the biggest of the NFL season so far and the single biggest a William Hill spokesman could remember.

That bet reportedly ran counter to the betting action for the game, with bettors heavily favoring the Rams. That 20-13 final score resulted in most sportsbooks taking a bath on what was apparently the heaviest-bet game of the season so far.
