I was wondering why we wouldn’t give Terry a carry or two after everyone was jacking off that he was moving to the position. Wait till all these young guys portal because they watched our offensive abortion week to week and not given a chance.

That's going to hurt so bad, but I don't blame them. They're witnessing a donkey show in Tijuana week to week.

Tried to listen to this dumb ass cope after the game press conference

I am ready for PK to take over this program once Sark is canned and go on a Saban-like run. He has been a great defensive coordinator for a long time (except for the early couple of years at Texas when the program was in disarray). Defense wins championships. I think it's a better recipe for success to have a defensive minded old school head coach and a young, innovative  OC.

He fucking deserves it

What was the reason Urban said no?

Mack told Urban the Texas BMDs were more trouble than the job was worth and that Urban wouldn’t be able to stick his fingers up co-ed’s asses without getting fired for cause.

So we promptly hired the guy who was caught on national television picking his nose and eating his boogers for the world to see.

Damn so Mack Brown has been responsible for us not getting Saban and now Meyer. Smh

I mean would you really want Meyer as the head coach at Texas?  Some things are more important than winning.  I know that’s not a popular opinion but that guy shouldn’t be allowed to be around kids again.  Period.

We have to get Niblett involved in the running game. And the passing game. And try him at left tackle. And of course wildcat QB. Get Bowmeester in there too.

The passing game, yes. The running game? Although, what Sark is dialing up for him is less than ideal, all it takes is one missed tackle. Eh, even with his speed he hasn't demonstrated the ability to cut and run. He's still young and can figure it out, but I don't think it will be this year.

Bro, PK doesn't want to be a HC. He's been offered more than once and has turned them down. He certainly doesn't want to be a HC here. Texas would break him. Too much smiley glad-handing, talking with BMD's, etc. He's a quiet guy and just wants to coach defense, which I don't blame him.

As I've seen posted by many far too often, "couldn't get any worse".

Yes Steve, efficiency is what we're lacking on offense. I've been screaming it here along with others all season long. We greatly lack efficiency.

Just saw the presser.  Sarks 2-1 in sec play horseshit at the end of the presser like he was super proud/triumphant pissed me off a lot.

First half of the presser was obviously the same we have to do better, execute better, call better plays bullshit.  With the added point that he specifically said arch needs to also play better.

Then after I think getting a series of legit questions he talks about 2-1 in sec and walks off like its a miraculous accomplishment against a Florida team that just fired its coach, venebles, and the worst team in the conference.

Did he mention that we have good kids that graduate?

No, but he did mention that Stoops was a great coach and that he had a lot of respect for him. That right there should be sufficient grounds for firing for cause.

He’s Tom Herman 2.0. A thin-skinned know it all with a (former) drinking problem and a problematic wife. You can’t ask anything remotely critical without getting some type of smart ass answer that makes no fucking sense.

Sark talks and sounds like a motivational speaker instead of a fucking coach who can light a fire in the belly of his team. Without NIL we would be completely fucked with recruiting. Maybe we already are, look at the offensive talent we managed to stockpile with all this money flowing around. It’s pathetic.

I hate the coach. Not the man, but the coach. He's such a pussy with no killer instinct. Give us Lane Kiffin with this offensive roster and we are unstoppable.

I’m cool with that as long as he keeps PK as DC. Keep Golding far away. It’s crazy because Sark was looking at Golding in 2021 when he took the job

Exactly. As long as PK is still the DC, we would be unstoppable.

When he is on and takes what a defense gives him he is brilliant. I give him a C- the rest of the time. I think I read in here there have been only two games since he has coached at Texas where we scored a TD first against an opponent. wtf?

So, basically he is a low level Madden player?

Which is perfectly fine, almost exactly what Texas wants in the age of NIL. The problem is that he’s also the OC. The problem and solution are right fucking there and it’s going to require some of the biggest NIL donors insisting he hire an OC and relinquish play calling.

if we are ever gonna be a powerhouse again, that glad handling smiley shit needs to be the gms job; not the coaches anymore. do you want your pilot focus on flying or communicating with someone who is having flying anxiety. thats one of the things the flight attendants are taking care of. If your pilots were running to the back of the plane for every little Karen and Kevin, even if only for first class passengers ( to complete the analogy); we would have a lot more crashes.

I normally stay away from parsing words in press conferences, because they're almost always just coachspeak, but that's phenominally dumb. RBs had six first half carries. We absolutely aired it out. That's detatchment from reality and not a good sign.

I 100% agree. The coach shouldn't be glad-handing anyone, that should be for either the AD or GM. The coach needs to focus on recruiting and preparations only, not giving speeches.

They just didn't block him.

No one ever wants to admit they were suckered or conned. It is humbling and embarrassing. When it comes to politics, religion or sports, it is a struggle to get people to admit they were conned, even when there is a mountain of evidece in front of them.

We were all conned about our offensive line. We trusted Sark. We trusted that the man who had us a heartbeat away from 2 national title games. It wasn't misplaced trust. No one is an idiot for trusting him. You are only an idiot if you continue to trust him.

Even though everything with the line in that clip, he still chose to throw into double coverage.

How bout that play call though! Third and 3 on the road with an offense that has been struggling on your own side of the field, let's dial up a low percentage slow developing deep shot trick play???

Oh shit, someone actually asked him why he wouldn't give up being an OC and just be a CEO.

Quote

Because that's why I got hired, I was a really good offensive coordinator... There's years we're better on offense than defense and years better on defense than offense....

Compared it to being in sales then starting your own business. Well, if your sales team is not producing, then you fire them. So, either get rid of flood, milwee, and whoever else, or remove yourself from the OC role.

If PK had the defense ranked 90 and lower in most defensive categories, he would've fired him already (maybe? maybe not too)
