Kirby hasn't been the same under NIL - those championship teams were loaded with talent and experience. He just has a hard on for Texas for some reason. Otherwise, they are a good, but flawed team.

Kirby like all other decent HC knows Sark will play his guys and call his plays regardless of his what his opponent’s defense is doing. All the DC’s knew it when he was at Washington. He goes Tin Cup mode trying to do the same thing over and over expecting that play or that player to make it happen.

Another knock on Sark. He turtles when it matters way too often and has a hard time putting teams away. Just like Tom 'Turtle' Herman.

Unfortunately true.  I've been on board with Sark, but I still remember 3 years ago when we blew a pair of 14-point leads and that team went 8-4 instead of 10-2.

Sark is aggressive going out to get the lead, then he coaches not to lose the lead.  Kirby Smart goes for the jugular, and that's why he's got the championships.

I hate to say it, but I'm feeling like the last two years were the ceiling with Sark.  This team is too undisciplined, too passive in the play calling, and somehow this offensive guru forgot to get an offensive line, which is unforgivable in this portal era.

I don't necessarily think we should fire Sark.  But if the NFL is interested, I think CDC should write him one hell of a recommendation letter.  Feels like Sark and UT have done as much for each other as they could.

Banks still being employed is grounds enough to fire Sark.  And why do we have a homeless man on the sideline calling God awful zone defenses.

PK is the only thing that has kept this team relevant the past 3 years.

Goddammit.  Kirby is not "a decent coach."  He's the heir apparent to Saban.

Most of the time. But his shit ass zone shows its head at all the wrong times.  The opposite of complementary football.

It most certainly will. It’s like sark is falling apart and I really don’t understand why after a pretty damn impressive two years. Personal shit aside it’s like he’s not even watching tape. And not being present in the offseason nor addressing our OLine nor having normal practices like the other top teams kicked our ass. Smoke and mirrors and Niblett saved the rest,

Something ain’t been right all year. With Sark. This season outside a few quarters of games has been unwatchable. He looks checked out despite what he says. Outside of the Miss State game he looks detached, I don’t know what the fuck is going on and I don’t care. The last HC to be an OC and win it all was Jimbo I mean Jameis Winston. Ok. Sark ain’t talented enough to be both HC and OC. He is half assing both roles. The team suffers. I don’t even care what bullshit he throws out in post game pressers it’s not working. Hes like a politician that says what he thinks we want to hear and a shitty Jedi Knight thinking we will buy it.

The entire offensive side of the ball has sucked. None of those coaches should be back next year.

For the low, low price of $55 million, you, too, can fire your head coach.

Not really. It will tell us whether we get a chance to show up unprepared and/or crater in another big game like this, or whether we’re an irrelevant mid-pack squad fighting for 6th place in the conference. That’s it. Sarks ability in these games is a known factor. Incapable.

He needs an OC. If he doesn't want one then move on. You cannot abandon the run like he does and put everything on a passing game that won't catch passes and an OL that sucks total fucking ass. He is so fucking stubborn. You are not as smart as you think you are. Two weeks to prepare for this to get blown out yet again.

This is it exactly. Sark absolutely insist on forcing the issue and his control freak, inflexible mind is certain that eventually his brilliant plan will work despite all evidence to the contrary. When you put that on top of NFL practices, poor evaluation, poor issue recognition, poor discipline, poor development, zero team accountability for errors and issues, and an insistence that the players are capable of executing his game plan because he thinks they are capable, you end up with what we have currently.

Which is a single Big XII championship and a lot of participation ribbons.

This isn't just at Texas. This is his career as an HC.

It's not getting better, no OC can fix all these issues.

He hasn’t learned from his previous roles with other teams. I don’t mind cocky or whatever about your abilities but when you are tested by the ones you are claiming to be better than and lose every damn time it’s an issue.

Also you can’t tell me “insiders” don’t know what’s going on. They don’t post it publicly to their credit (unlike FUCB) to harm our recruiting and stuff but damn they have to know what’s going on behind the scenes, @someguyhas more intel than most any one of us and he posted weeks ago about his concerns for the NFL practice bullshit and almost near absentee-ism of Sark in the offseason. The IT folks know they just won’t say. I respect this but now we have been asswhipped out of a playoff spot and a CCG I’d like to know.

And lets be clear CDC and Texas Athletics are not LSU level dumb.

Things at this level of money always happen for a reason. Leaks of real behavior and completely fabricated rumors alike.

The game is already in play. We just don't know the details.

Yep.  I think it was ctj that said sark may be encouraged to leave ala Shaka.  CDC ain’t a dummy.  There’s an out clause.  Also schools have insurance for the buyouts.

They had to have accounted for his alcoholism in the contract

I think we had what,  5 straight forced punts that we didn’t do shit with on offense? Defense gets gassed especially with our limited secondary.

Truth. I only know the one BMD. The rumbles and growing frustrations have become roars lately but that doesn’t mean Sark is gone. I don’t have permission to know why there are roars or what the discussions are on this at all. Like my BMD told me the one time Herman would be fired the next day and what time but he isn’t going to say all the deets he does know to me either. @closetojumping would have a better finger on the pulse or @someguy

Please......Sark has had years to make corrections/changes, he is clearly incapable of getting the job done. Sark is the equivalent of Franklin. If that's the standard you are cool with then Sark is the coach for you.

.

.

What exactly is getting the job done? It’s like some of you just became fans 3 years ago. It’s pretty obnoxious to think we are at the point where it’s championship or bust in regards to our head coach, and the only reason some of you even have that take now is because Sark pulled us out of the dregs of college football. We just had back to back playoff appearances, once when it was only 4 teams. We had a high number of players go in the draft the last 2 years. A step back should have been expected, but yall let the 9.95ers gas y’all into believing this was a championship squad before yall saw them take a snap. Expectations should have been reset after the first game of the season. Win the next two games and I’ll be alright with this season.

NFL owners like to sell tickets. having a hard time seeing announcing Sark as your head coach moves that needle. he might be interested, but they probably aren't

I still go back to CDC doesn’t let things burn that long.  He got rid of Terry and David Pierce after just two disappointing finishes in a row.   Football is our bread and butter.   We can’t repeat this next season.
