I disagree with this.   Or at least any insinuation we are a less toxic or fair weather than the worst in that regard (which, I'll admit, is a decent chunk of the SEC and several other top tier programs). We are certainly up there with all of them.  But let's be clear, the reason for all the activity in this thread is that we have 3 losses in a season with high expectations and blame must be allocated loudly.  If we beat UGA, none of this shit is being talked about.  But we've lost 3 games and the last one wasn't close so now it's turned into personal and character attacks on the coach based on rumors.  Maybe they are right - I don't know.  I could text someone right now that almost certainly would know but I don't really care enough (and when I do get insider information, I typically don't post it all over this board particularly to the extent the subsequent discussion would in any way damage Texas).  Obviously most don't agree with that and think all dirty laundry should be shared widely.

But you are  kidding yourself to think that if Sark is replaced, similar toxicity won't exist the first time Freeman or Kiffin or whoever has a disappointing loss.  The coach everyone is clamoring for today will suddenly become a fucking retard and no doubt people will search and gossip about off the field reasons to explain why their god given right to enjoy a 10+ win and playoff season is in jeopardy.

I don’t agree with this sentiment in this instance, but I think you’re correct about the nature of fan bases in general.

Sark was plenty popular  heading into this season. The hype was through the roof and a lot of that was coming from him. Maybe he had some bad evals at receiver or got unlucky with other targets in the portal, maybe his db hire didn’t pan out, maybe Arch got the yips. Whatever.

For your OL to suck this bad at this stage of his tenure is completely unacceptable and raises major red flags that can’t be ignored. It cost us huge. The only explanation I can think of is he didn’t have his eye on the ball and didn’t understand his own team well enough to hit the portal. I think he was dealing with personal issues. I want the best for the guy but this was a massive fuck up and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with crying foul.

Arkansas may drop 40 on us and there’s no coming back from a loss on Saturday. Many have heard a decision has already been made. Night crew also knows CDC would not move if the next guy isn’t lined up already, and it’s doubtful someone is lined up. Sounds like we’re in some real pretty shit right now.

What decision?

Can't much argue with that.  The OL is the most glaring problem and seemingly the most inexplicable.

Although the Akina hire seems most unfortunate, it happened for a good reason in Gideon departing for a DC job and Joseph for the NFL.

And you have to think PK had some input in the hire.  Can't solely tag Sark with that.

Just like the good ole days of shaggy dominating the forum meltdown on the bama website that would highlight our awesomeness.   We are now under surly dominating message board geniuses.   We are a force.  We are the VY of meltdowns

I have not seen much of Message Board Geniuses.  Worth a regular visit?

I want to win the next two games

I want Sark to make some real changes, OC, O-Line coach, special teams and Defense backs coach. Hit the portal hard

LEARN

ADJUST

and if he does none of those things and next year trends down,

Replace him

BUT if he has shit on this university and its core values then I want him gone end of year. I'm not talking about the rumor shit. REAL verifiable proof = gone

Some of it is coming from this. Along with speculation DeBoer wants out of Bama and so on and so on…it’s a crazy time.

It's amazing people believe this nonsense. Any random person can post anything and people believe it.  No wonder these Nigerian scams continue to work. People are morons.

Florida is the only inexplicable loss we’ve had this season. I’m not surprised that we lost to Ohio State and Georgia, especially with a first-year starter at QB.

You realize that Georgia and Ohio State also have first-year starters at qb, right?

Nansen, too. Akina was under him at Arizona.

Fuck no. We might miss the playoffs but if we can beat OU, A&M, and Arkansas then we will at least have that. Then we can crown that even when we massively screw up we still beat those fuckheads

Yes. This is still a trifecta that counts. Most hated opponents. From way back. Beating all 3 is a nice hat trick.

The bad replacements happened not so coincidentally the same time someone showed back up in Austin. It's in the 229 time line.

Playoff bids will be OU’s and aggy’s consolation prizes for falling to beat us this season while we go play in the Alamo Bowl.

This thread is getting hard to follow. Can someone provide a summary of who was fucking who?

Here’s the equation:

Sark (not undefeated) * Pussy^2 (undefeated) + Alcohol = 🤷‍♂️

I can’t say I’m much of a better man than him when you put it that way….although I would hope he’s gotten more pussy.

In my post you responded to, I noted that I do not believe winning or losing them will alter Sark's future at Texas.

Since I know you care so much.

In my perfect world, we pull off beating pig and aggie to round home against all 3 rival teams.

aggie goes on to get their shit pushed in by Ole Miss in the SEC champ game (no idea if they can both make it).

Then Tech eliminates aggie with blow out victory in the CFP.

Elko wipes his ass with contract and heads off to PSU.

Sark goes away, don't care where.

Cignetti or Lanning is named Texas HC.

We kill it in the winter portal after destroying some scrub in the Nobody Watches Bowl sponsored by Who Gives Shit with our interim HC, PK.

Lane creates a legal case when Mississippi sues Louisiana over some bullshit because he goes to coach LSU.

Ou announces it's shutting down it's football program because sucking sucks.

Petrino gets in a car wreck with Jordan.

The SEC doesn't play in the Alamo Bowl. That's Big 12 vs Big 10 now.

I don't hate your posts at all. They amuse me, like a clown. All fan bases and boards need juvenile shit talkers that learned their trade on social media. If this place didn't have regards to entertain us with pointless things that make no sense it would just be people preaching to we enlightened as to why we're horrible fans. No sir, I love your posts. Now you're not in the rarified air of @David Dennison as his contrary opinion hate baiting is next level fun but dont let that get you down. Keep it up, and maybe someday you too can figure out the algorithm to make us ALL smile on the reg. Good bye and good luck!
